  1. I say remove the 'n' and add a 'b'. Sorry I just couldn't help myself!
  2. Erm, yeah I did read that too but I wasn’t too sure because of all the indirect mockery, But hey does that mean I can't say it either? (Even though I really mean it?) lol, really though… cut her some slack the sarcasm was just a tad much, don’t you think?

So what happened baby? (can i call you that? ) It's not only been a few days but it's dragged on to weeks, yet I still see no sign of that section you promised us.
  4. Hey I think you’re alone on that one girl because God...I know I’d hate to feel that trapped, the thought of someone calling me every week would suffocate me, forget every minute! Anyways, I like to think I’m independent so someone splashing his money about would either make me feel intimidated or I’d end up pitying him. I know I don’t use and abuse but sometimes I feel like I am, when I’m not.
  5. Well I'd have to say...she's rather well read. So I'll give credit where it's due!
  6. I was a regular somalinet chat user and every night we use to have this person called Woolwich ciyaal, they use to invade the chat room and flood it with coded messages that looked like nonsense to the rest of the somalinet users, anyways I use to chat to this person in the luuq and they seemed rather intelligent, anyways they felt they were doing everyone a favour by deterring them from chatting rubbish like the usually do in the chat room (Which by the way worked!). Anyways one night they introduced me to SOL, and they said it was far better then Somalinet and they also told me about the community section. After reading the topics I just felt like joining…so I did!
  7. You know there is an in between, between these extremes! I know I’ve been studying for so long and so hard and I wouldn’t want to waste it all and I don’t think I would have to. I’d probably quit work for the first few years before nursery. And I wouldn’t just keep them at home, I’d probably take them to stay and play groups for mothers and toddlers (that I know all about…lol) and make sure they get a nice balance or having me around and socialising with other children their own age, I’d also probably have regular visits to the grandparents. But as soon as they’re in nursery I’d go into part time work and make sure I won’t be too tired for them.

Private.I Sue reporting back... I also found these links: Our nomad JIDAAWY has got some interest from an Islamic website about a post she posted last year. http://forums.gawaher.com/index.php?act=ST&f=53&t=2004& Mr WD also seems to have won some friends at this website below where they refer to a post he made about Somali universities. http://anti-state.com/forum/index.php?board=23;action=display;threadid=10783 Someone was also doing a bit of their own research about their name and came across SOL which they commented about on this website below: http://www.stirfrymojo.com/ Also google was constantly showing up Monalisa, Phnom Penh, Cambodia when I typed in Somaliaonline…so other than OG moti what is the connection?
  9. Hey OG girl I’m far from skinny and god if I am I’m the heaviest skinny person I know!

Hey I thought I’d bring this topic up again, because this pretty much relates to it and I thought it would be ****** to waste cyber space…anyhow I was at work trying to get on SOL and I couldn’t so I decided to use google again and up pops all these related websites and it was interesting to see that our Idil was getting quoted unknowingly on two websites for a lovely poem she posted, which are pasted below. http://aloofhosting.com/tomrue/health/beards.htm http://tomrue.blogspot.com/ And LST has is in the encyclopaedia and has a whole article dedicated to him, but open with caution I was unable to view this website because I was having problem with my silly work computer. www.nebulasearch.com/encyclopedia/article/Libaax-Sankataabte.html I also came across and another website I was unable to view but it mentioned SOL and has something to do with a post one of the Nomads posted about Jinns…and I think it scared someone…lol http://pub126.ezboard.com/fyoungmuslimsfrm4.showMessage?topicID=1618.topic It's all rather weird but good to know:D As long as It's not bad. Anyways private I Sue signing off.
  11. section6er it will work, but your sim would have to have money on it if anyone wants to call you and text messages are 40p per text, even in africa. Oh and that's on T-mobile
  12. Originally posted by Nyce: Some females also shouldn't be wearing pink IMO...specially the really dark girls I found this remark rather offensive, I don’t like the colour but still I think that it’s down right horrible to say that due to someone’s skin colour they should suddenly restrict what colours they like to wear?
  13. I hate the colour, I wouldn’t wear it but I do think it looks pretty good on some people and even on some guys. **This excludes bright pink, fuchsia and hot pink** But this is just fashion and the majority of us a victims to it, but I'm sure this whole "guy's wearing pink" will be a fad in a few years and that you'll probably look back and say..."How in the world did I wear that and actually I think I looked good in that?!"
  14. Point taken, so communism, socialism and Marxism are Jewish produced notions, right wadani you’re very helpful, thanks again. So now the pursuing of equality through out the whole society, is now thought to be a Jewish concept…which leaves us with Islam, which I was always pro. However, Islam isn’t easy itself what with the large number of different sects Islam has broken into, the chances of sects like Salaafi and Husba taheer getting along together is wishful thinking much less Sunnis and Shiites living peacefully under one Islamic state. But then the basics laws are based upon the five pillars of Islam and we all believe that the Quran is word of Allah, so wouldn’t that make it easier for us to co-exist, especially when we live side by side with kafirs.
  15. Wadani, thanks for that...I'm surprised I never saw this before. Its help shed light on a lot of the other nomad's thoughts on Freedom. Oops and I nearly forgot to say what my answer is, well I'm some of you already know this I don't believe in freedom and equality isn't as clear cut as it's thought to be. But I would rather choose equality over something that's so unattainable
  16. Alle –baahne “Cajiib, May be Sullen Sue and OG Girl are another Eedooyin-to-be girls who are on the verge to grasp everything about politics, lol. Am joking for this one, OK.†I know you didn’t mean anything by that walaal there’s no need to carry on like we would ambush you if you did not state you were joking. And I’ll also have you know I’ve been an eedo for quiet some time. However your remark was in danger of ruining our credibility especially as you said when we’re on the verge of having an intellectually valid and respectable debate about concepts for some strange you believe to be beyond us. (I sense a little sexism…where’s DA when she’s needed? lol) Ngonge You just love to make everything 10 times harder for me don’t you?! lol No but you’ve stated a lot of the things that I was trying to convey across in my argument and for that reason I applaud you. But for some strange reason you’ve chosen to excuse their behaviour with lines like. “Freedom and democracy are not modern concepts†Of course they are modern concepts, they’re the concepts that are being force fed to the rest of the world by this self declared “democratic superpower†and it’s agreeing allies. Of course during time ‘the west’ has adapted and blinded us to what freedom really is and stands for. We’re in a day and age where our privacy is being breeched in order to ensure our freedom…I don’t quiet see how that works! Is that not another contradiction? *Quick UK example* did you know that all people with T-mobile contracts have agreed to have all their calls monitored? Read the small print. Getting back to what I was saying, Ngonge if you say democracy and freedom are all old concepts, then what are the new ones and should we (because they say so) dismiss this ridicule of our intellects as satisfactory? If so Ngonge you should change your name to Muriel. You say “they’re not realities and they’re never likely to become ones†Yes but when people strive to push these falsities down our throats as the correct way to live and as realities… what are we to do? When countries are being invaded and abused for “the west’s†personal interests. Should be then blind sight ourselves with this idea that there are no better alternatives until we’re next on the hit list? “However once in a while, these democracies give the people that chance to catch out and get rid of the corrupt rulers†It’s funny because even that in itself is a process that is plagued with corruption and underlining ulterior motives. Quote the modern or You say it “Sound crazy well luv of course it’s crazy, we’ve been blinding ourselves for long that we’ve become accustom to these changes and accepted them as the only way we can live and survive. Ngonge you also seem to be rather anti equality, you agree that all these similar concepts being with good and noble ideas however I agree corruption and self interest worms its way into the fruits of our labour, however sweet it maybe. And of course this worm in represents itself as dictatorship, however I believe even democracy is vulnerable to dictatorship. Instead these democratic states choose to throw us off with using the false concept of freedom. Everyone may not be equal in some people’s eyes because of material and social standing but in the eyes of Allah we’re all Slaves and walaal I’d rather be a slave of Allah than the blind slave of these deceptive western concepts. **This conversation is heading nowhere and fast**

Nuune/ boolbaro luv I don't see how you could have not known all this time that I was unable to read and write Somali, I went to great lengths to tell people even in this every topic that you were replying to yourself. Also in this topic below I posted in March 2004, I stated this and then even undertook a poll on what language (Somali/English) ALL the Nomads would prefer to see on SOL. http://www.somaliaonline.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=002943 And if you read it properly you’ll see that you yourself replied and so did many of the baro family, and 7 steps to heaven who was deliberately replying to me in Somali when we know fully well she’s capable of writing excellent English and sorry but Nuune your English is not as limited as you presume. Feebaro, say I accept, what will change? Or is it yet another empty word to you?!

Certain liberties simply need to be respected. Walaal I think that's easier said than done when Nomads like Nuune aka boolbaro chose to reply to me in somali when they know fully well that I can't read or write Somali. http://www.somaliaonline.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=6;t=003429;p=4 I think that this is really just an excuse for some members to patronise other Nomads, for their own sadistic amusement. I don't think that was what SOL was all about.
  21. You know what…. do what you like! I’m fed up of all this bickering on a public forum, if you want to have a one on one abusive conversation by all means do but in the PMs but by you discussing this issue in public you’re inviting people to add their two cents, which I of course did willingly and fairly according to unjust remarks I evidently saw was being written. And of course I’ve also proven the points I made clear on the Af Somali topic about why the section is needed so badly.
  22. You know silent Sistah I knew one of them would reply to me in Somali which just goes to prove what I was saying. Nuune but I seriously didn't except it to be you! But oh well point proven I guess!
  23. To be honest Voller I was disappointed with the documentary, but I already knew it would take a biased approach. They actually dismissed cold hard evidence and didn’t go to any great depths to disprove the evidence. For example why weren’t the Israeli ‘spies’ asked why they were celebrating when video taping the twin towers being hit? I also would have preferred if they disproved conspiracies theories using a professional and factual approach, I don’t recall one physicist ever being asked for their opinion once in the whole documentary. All the people whom were questioned and whose opinions and so-called facts were used, all seem to be somehow either involved with US government or they were patriotic civilians. (Did you notice the flags...lol?) I couldn’t believe they dismissed actual footage of the pentagon exploding with no sign of plane, and their only conflicting prove was one eyewitness and a cameraman whose own pictures conflict with what he says is true. lol! Walaal Haaniif I’m no terrorist, and I’m not suggesting we take the law into our own hands; in fact this is exactly what I was trying to point out in the other topic I posted about freedom and democracy. I’m only one person and quiet frankly there is nothing I can do that will significantly affect or change anything because I don’t believe in this shabby system but sadly I put up with it because I have no choice or freedom. The only thing that we can control in this day and age is our probable uncontrolled ability to use our minds and think for ourselves with total privacy but even that is under threat, what with subliminal messages and more new research & technology being produced to get around this. If you click on these Newscientist links you will find I’m not just being parnoid, ‘the west’ is constantly trying with all their might to obtain the omnipresent, all knowing attributes of Allah and it’s sad that we just ignore it as just paranoid brainwashed anti-west babble some uneducated person is jabbering. Subliminal study shows subconscious learning is possible http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99991476 NASA develops 'mind-reading' system http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99994795
  24. Banrambora or whatever you call yourself! You have the cheek to talk about maturity? Do you know what that is dear, I wasn’t to sure you were familiar with that one. Well judging from the childish actions you and your fellow baro family call fun I’d say you weren’t very mature at all. You think you’re brightening up SOL? Hello where were you when we were having discussions about the quality of SOL deteriorating of late? Hiding under a rock somewhere or was it maybe your ego? I don’t get how you can come sauntering in here and join so readly this farcical clique and expect to be welcomed by all the other Nomads. At least the other baro family attained a little respect because they all started off as individuals who had their own views and points but then eventually changed and formed this mini borg on SOL who wishes to assimilate SOL and it’s members and class the rest of the resistant Nomads as inferior beings. I’m sure you’ll all be chanting resistance is futile next! I suggest you get off this little band wagon that you have absolutely no knowledge about and go about establishing yourself as a Nomad on SOL and start being a person in your own right rather than another of the baro family’s loyally abiding stooges. (However entertaining you find it!) As for me ganging up on anyone…I don’t think I was or that I was even in fact apart of a gang or in the process of forming a gang. I’m me Sue and an individual who writes what she feels when she feels a need to, I don’t have to keep in some sort of group pack were I am to stay loyal to any group or individuals on SOL and nor do I have to defend anyone for that matter. I believe Dawoco was doing that just fine all by her self, you see we all don’t need help with defending ourselves like you seem to need.
  25. Communism, Marxism and Socialism are all feasible alternatives in an ideal world but again they are hated by the west as much as the setting up of an Islamic state and of course they’re all subject to foul play when implemented by the wrong people and for all the wrong reasons. Again this means that even democracy in an ideal world would work, however I pointed out democracy because people blind themselves to the reality of what is being passed off as democracy when in act fact it’s all cunningly built on lies and conspiracies all in the aim of achieving personal and political gain in one way or another. I seriously can't think of another alternative other than Islam.
