i saw kama sutra, it s really good, i also saw bella mafia a long time ago and i just made fun of it with my sister. it might of been good but i was too much in a goofy mood to pay attention. how did kamasutra end? they killed the sculptor right? well, the week ends over but we can still talk about movies right? Frieda is also a good movie, visually stunning.

i dislike c. aguilera. i can agree with her song cause its true how women have to deal with these ridiculous double standards, and slaying of character whenever we do something "unfeminine" (who decides whats feminine anyways, wouldnt anything a woman does be feminine since the person doing it is a " femme"?) like voice an opinion or be tough. my problem with aguilera is she falls right into those traps by traipsing about in tiny "cute" outfits, making sexy "dirrty" videos, posing for MAXIM an STUFF magazine and etc. now, she may be doing this to make a point, why are guys celebrated when they explore their sexuual side? or why are they allowed to exploit women in their videos? but something tells me otherwise. first of all, shes no revolutionary. this song and dance has been done to death by madonna (whom i like and can respect for her honesty. she openly admits that her image got her where she is and she constantly plays it up). i mean, in no way is it cool to make judgements on people because of what they look like, but this girl is making money on what she "looks" like.2) this is a voyeuristic world we live in, bill boards, magazines, television, movies, they all got something in common. they use women to sell things. her video "dirrty", which was a remix of redmans "lets get dirty", got way more airplay than the original. why? cause their was a half naked girl singing in it, duh. this video as well is getting air play cause shes half naked with lil kim. she knows very well what shes doing, shes making money. but at the expense of what? everything women every where have been fighitng for for yrs. which is not to be looked at like a sexual objects. now im not saying shes responsible for this, shes just making money on a time honored recipe. good for her, but im not gonna applaud her for following the waves.

i disagree. prejudice is something we learn and are not born with. its true it is an instinct to fear the unknown, and therefore holding some prejudices against the unknown would be a bi-product of that fear, but in what group, or category you fall into, or who you must fear, or who must dislike is something you gather from yr environment and not yr genes. when we are born, we do not instinctively know what race, nationality, or even gender we fall into. all of these things are learned through time and with the help of our parents and society, and therefore yr prejudices, ideologies arent instinctive but learned.

Because people would rather embrace youthfulness than maturity especially that of a woman; this goes for our culture as well as the west when concerning women. men are starting to tend about their looks and their own aging process more because the media is inventing more products for men to "look their best", like rogaine, just for men hair coloring, protein shakes etc... all these ads can make a person self conscious about their image and therefore their age (just like its doing to women). also i think the men lying about their age are the ones trying to hook up with younger women who, depending on how young, has the advantage of choosing between a much older man or a younger man, so itd be in his best interest to lie about his age... or he could be going through a mid-life crisis and want to "believe" his young again. personally i think its embarassing when someone doesnt acknowledgge their age, i mean i cant take anything you say seriously if yr 40 trying to look 20, yr a joke. this goes for all these people getting plastic surgery to stop the hands of time too... theyre jokes.
