SHEEKO NAXDINLEH - Cajalad Video ah ayaa burburisey noolasheyda
SomeAlien replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in General
yesterday on 20/20 they had a special about secret videos... accually it was about videotaping crimes. (i ddnt watch all of it and my memory is a lil shaky). anyways, among other "crimes" they briefly referred to a man who owned a gym somewhere in america and who put videotapes all over the women shower rooms and changing rooms. how did he get caught? well he had an affair with a married woman, whom he also secretly videotaped. when she wanted to break up, he threatened to show her husband the tape. long story short, she chose to be pro active and went to the police herself. -
^^^ except its not right, considering were following allahs laws for mankind. they/you might rationalize it in yr head, bt ultimately we will be judged according to what allah has prescribed... and it *does* say its wrong. and farxan, i see what yre saying bt that kind of logic is still a little flawed. it would be shameful and embarassing obviously if yr mother or sister were behaving in lewd manners, bt it would be jst as shameful and embarassing if the father/brothers were lewd and disgusting ppl... of course the threshold we have for men on perverseness is a lil higher than that for women (As a society, were more forgiving of men) bt in either case an individuals dignity and honor dsnt lie in anothers actions. allah bestows honor and dignity upon his slaves in this life and the hereafter and he can take it away in this life and the hereafter as He sees fit. if anything, its the people you choose to associate with that can color yr reputation in this life, and obviously yr blood relatives are harder to distance yrself from. if this is what you meant, than i agree, however it still dsnt lie in how yr female counterparts behave only and the loss (if you can call it that) still isnt absolute. furthermore, dignity and honor are supposed to be earned...much like trust.

^^^ i was thinking she might be afro american because of the name tunisia, and i dnt understand the question. is it proper islamic sharia to kill her daughter? no. it wed be following sharia if the mom was executed, since she commited murder.

Well if your logic is correct somalien then its ok for women to prostitute if they cant find a job to feed their kids!!! with respect to any familial problems she may have running away and living with strangers is not going to make any of that right...wow, where did you read that? listen, im giving everybody involved the benefit of the doubt here, maybe naively, bt lets assume there is no funny business going on. now why wld someone so young, from a muslim family, move in with 2 strangers of the opp. sexe? to another state in fact? maybe its a temporary stay, a short transition they offered to help her through. doesnt make it correct, bt it also doesnt make her a prostitute. my comments above were not pro moving in with 2 men, (what a party that is) i was just giving one of many possible scenarios that dont involve any funny buisness. lets keep our minds out the gutter for a moment, eh? where did i say it was correct, or even advise or advocate it? i jst dont like assuming the worst especially when it comes to other muslims, which you shld try also. why dont you ask some sisters you know if theyll offer her a place to stay, speak to them all about how theyve breached islamic etiquette and how this girl has put herself in a very vulnerable position. no, lets jst assume the absolute worst (one person even calling her diseased), not do anything about it except tsk tsk online for 5 pages. i mean the way you jumped the gun with my comment ([/qb]Well if your logic is correct somalien then its ok for women to prostitute if they cant find a job to feed their kids!!![/qb]) says alot about you. fyi, about 2 pages into this i was very much in aggreement with you ( i still am, this isnt a light issue), bt than it occured to me we all made a leap of judgement here that none of us are equipped to make. its wrong for unmarried people to live together bt you didnt give a hypothetical situation yre talking about people you accually know... and what you accually know about their situation is very little. theyre living together, what theyre doing you have no idea of. lets admit that for a bit, okay? i mean how do you know theyre even boyfriend and girlfriend? argh, goodness i dnt need to know. however instead of assuming the worst, shaking yr head in dismay online, why dnt you talk to them. seriously, the guy is yr friend right? i mean, you say you wanted to post this to enlighten us about a growing problem in our communitites, well once we know about them, than what? do we not have a responsibility towards our bros and sisters to correct them and/or enlighten them? is it that difficult for you to voice yr concern/dismay/disappointement out to them?

Is there such a thing as HALAL DATING? If so, what is it?

Why do you think people date 5,7yrs and get divorced within few months? Iska dream gareeya. Everthing that glitters isn't gold. Don't let the soap opera fool you. Its much more complicated then that. thats the thing though, they get divorced because they were "dating" 5-7 yrs beforehand. they get used to the idea that there are no strings attached, its not serious and so when one partners actions towards the relationship falls short of their idea of "marital life" than theyre not as forgiving as they used to be, since it wasnt considered an authentic relationship by either party before marriage. furthermore, when you know someone 5-7 yrs before hand and you marry them cause yr convinced yr madly in love with them... well youll be disappointed, to say the least, when you find out you know all their stories already and that passion drizzles down. besides, marriage is half our religion, you shouldnt jst blow it off like that. understandable that yre freaked out if yre young or seen marriages go bad in front of you bt thats jst why you have to do it the right way... NO DATING -
not really, bt jazakhallahum kheyr for yr efforts. see where im confused is this ramadaan there was a mini scandal on when eid was. obviously we follow a lunar calendar bt a sighting in a different country 12 hours away to some people was not enough. (now im not saying either POV's is valid or invalid, im jst saying what i noticed). however for dhul-hijjah, the sighting in saudi arabia is necessary to count out when the 9-10th days are. im confused.
-
brother, its not an attack, its a sincere question one in which its answer holds alot of weight in how i practice islam.so im just trying to understand it. now its dictated by hajj, as in when the people will commence their journey and end it on the day of arafat. so while they are sacrificing there we fast, correct? then its dictated by the lunar calendar in that part of the world, right? is it the same for eid-ul-fitr? do we eid when they eid? or do we wait for the sign of the changing month here?
-
a woman can seek divorce by seeing a qadi (judge) and giving a valid reason for divorce. a woman can also have it stated in her marriage contract (before marriage) that she will be granted divorce without dispute or a judge if she asks for one. however in all cases there is a period to wait to see if you are pregnant. i dont know what process you have to go through if it turns out you are pregnant, maybe some of the other nomads will fill in the blanks.
-
so its dictated with the caleandar of saudi arabia? are we supposed to do that during the first eid too? or is it more debatable?
-
amiin. question, is eid tomorrow or friday and which is correct to end fasts when saudi arabia does or when the lunar calendar proves the date. obviously this year theyre not coniciding here in the west so... what now?
-
^^^how do you know that? is it a given that if yre born into a muslim family, youll be a muslim adult? on another note, were all born muslims no matter who our parents are. ( i had an argument in my head and i just lost it so im just gonna leave it at that for the moment.)

id like to see the oldest mother due to a natural birth and fertilization. cause this stuff is just ridiculous. shell be dead when the baby is 9.

i thought you knew... were all bitter middle aged feminists, we cant get a man. thats what happens when you wait, the men all leave for the ladies of somalia. *MESSGE!!!*

no, bt ive heard of it. its what african americans call each other, or other blacks straight from the mother land. its supposed to be an insult, that africans are savages and american born blacks are superior (or at least feel superior) since theyve got no more ties with the land of savages. see whoopi goldbergs comments about not being african and also look at the situation in liberya.

uuummmm, have you ever read "a confederacy of dunces"? i think you should check it out.

i disagree that somalis like or celebrate full figured women. in fact from what ive seen its the opposite. to a certain degree it has to do with economics. i mean, countries with relatively lower national incomes generally praise full figuredness, especially in women. its a sign of wealth. however here in the west, being big or overweight is a sign of sloppiness and even a sign of being of a lower economic/social status. here in the west, in a first world country, eating healthy (organic, vegetarian, low cal) is somewhat more challenging economically than eating poorly (high fat, fast foods, chips, snacks etc), not only that but women (and men) can now use their money to alter their appearance to reach the standard that theyve created. (straighter nose, smaller hips, bigger chest.) anyhow, somalis to a certain extent are like other africans and see eating well (as in alot) and having a plump appearance as attractive (you know, how we looooove to fatten our babies), bt its certainly not something encouraged, at least not here in the west. i have never heard of parents wanting their daughters to fatten up, bt i have heard of parents wanting their daughters to lose weight, telling their daughters they are fat (at relatively early ages, when a young womans body is just transitioning from girl to woman). i cant speak for other nations or cultures, bt what i have noticed about somalis is that they will tease you no matter what. anything that stands out about you, whether it be yr size or yr nose, they will point it out and tease you mercilessly about it, and thats not to say that it is done in a mean spirit. quite the opposite. however when living or in some cases growing up in a society that puts tremendous pressure and importance on personal appearance combined with our own subtle way of approaching it, i think its to be expected that we may have some deeply complexed kids growing up in the next coming generations. of course you could just throw the tv out and ban the magazines in yr house.
