Well!! Since most of us agree that.. when u cook for ur love.. it kind of adds little spice to the already deliciously steaming sensation. So here is ur chance to post ur recipes so that we can all learn from each other! Here is my secret recipe to an extraodinary dinner that is quiet easy to prepare!! Rice is my call Ingredients for sauce: 2 green onions 5 baby carrots 1 green peppers 1lb boneless salmon fish 1 can of tomato sauce 1 celery 1 potato 2 teaspons of cummin powder ( in other words xawaash) Preparation: Peel n chop the potates, then boil them. While the potates r boiling, chop everthing else into small pieces except the fish. When the potates r cooked, add little oil,, I prefer olive oil, but vegetable oil works as well. Add the green onions, stir fry them for a while. Then add the tomato sauce and the xawaash/cummin powder. Works great with the curry powder as well. Now add the rest of the choped vegetables. Let them cook for a while. Now chop ur fish into reason size. Add this as well. leave it on the stove for a while, stirring only once or twice. Make sure u use a medium heat. at the end u can leave it on the stove with warm heat... so as to have it little warm. Hey don't u forget the salt.. to ur taste.. Ingredients for rice: 6 pieces of cardominum( or heel in somali) 6 pieces of dhago yare( don't know what they call in english) 2 pieces of chicken bourogh( maggi) 1.5 cups of rice 1/2 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning. Preparation: Pour little oil into the digsi. Add cardominum, dhageyare, maggi n the lemon pepper seasoning. Stir for a while. Then add the rice. When they have all fried for aminute add 2.5 cups of water. bring it to boil. Then put the rice in the oven with the temperature set to 350 degrees. Dessert: Next post... I gotta bounce now... but works gr8 with ice cream or fruits!

Daffyduck, Here is what Surah5, ayah5: Made lawful to you this day are At­Tayyibât [all kinds of Halâl (lawful) foods, which Allâh has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, etc., milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits, etc.). The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals, etc.) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them. (Lawful to you in marriage) are chaste women from the believers and chaste women from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before your time, when you have given their due Mahr (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), desiring chastity (i.e. taking them in legal wedlock) not committing illegal sexual intercourse, nor taking them as girl-friends. And whosoever disbelieves in the Oneness of Allâh and in all the other Articles of Faith [i.e. His (Allâh's), Angels, His Holy Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection and Al­Qadar (Divine Preordainments)], then fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers. This Verse talks about what are made lawful to us but doesnot say two people who commit adultery with each other cannot marry each other! This is what the discussion is about, We all know adultery is big sin and what are its punishment. If you have verse that supports the topic, I would like to hear it. May be you need to read the whole discussion again and try to grasp the main point.

Can we get another topic without changing teens section? coz i believe we both need Teen section and poetry too. They are both as important as the General discussion section. I would have loved to see a poetry section added to the forum but i suggest, the Teen section not to be changed to poetry. I am sure many percentage of visitors of this site are teenagers. Thank you

Daffyduck, point out where I rejected Book of Allah? It is funny how some people read certain things and come out with funny conclusions! If you want to agree with LF, it is fine by me but all I am asking from LF ( and you now) to provide Verses of Quran that says so. BTW Sister is not a name and definitely not unique to muslims only.
