  1. Looooool@Petite......thats right girl! Lets all hear it 4 the thin girl!
  2. The biggest shock I had was when my sister was hit by a car three years ago (Thank Allah she wasn't hurt too bad). It happened near our house and the neighbours informed us. Everybody run out of the house screaming and crying (u should have seen my mum and aunt, running down the street, bilaa kabo, wearing guntiino iyo dirac, screaming 'ba'ayeey' n 'hoogayeey'.....it would hav been funny if it wasn't so sad!). I, on the other hand, was numb all over....I couldn't move...I couldn't talk, I couldn't even think....I thought she was dead! They, however, thought I was a heartless b*tch....just because I wasn't crying and screaming my head off. What they didn't know was sidaan maalintaa u naxay weligay maana u nixin....n I hope never to (Insha Allah). Naxdintu waa balaayo. It can literally kill u!
  3. This can not be true, this is a plan to discredit the government. I need concrete prove to beleive such a thing.

    somali love letter

Gacaliso to be coutiuos is a good idea, but it is always better to give us(men) the benefit of the doubt, meaning don't rush to judgment. but i have to agree with u in part cuz if a guy is always sweet talking than u have to be protective of u'r self, peace.
  5. fligh.13 u represent a lot of cool people so watch u'r actions! don't abuse the name. well mine is just name i pick out of the blue, but my favorite rapper is Nas & illmatic is the name of his last album so maybe that's why I choose this name, peace.

    somali love letter

Buubto- if I could see the guy right now and he still felt the same away about me, then waan ku qaban lahaa. But yearsssssssssssss ago I was only a baby!!!. Flattered no doubt, but nothing more. Now that I know more about men...lol...who knows what I would have done?? Jaber- and such is life. I have no idea the hees but it's sweet and crude at the same time!
  9. Mr.Libaaax, Sxb, Your poem seems personal, it symbolises that moment when you're left by your parents to stand alone, either by their death or some other reason. sxb, the poem is good especially at the start, i think last part of the poem is more like an emotional expression. Just continue to address your poems like the first part of your poem (coz i truely liked the first 15 lines) [This message has been edited by JamaaL-11 (edited 01-30-2002).]

Najmah_03, nice poems girl, it is the caption of a special moment full of hasitation and deep feeling, while untrusting love and what it holds for you. I really liked that poem, it reminds of a book, written by the african writter "chinua achebe" which i read in primry school years. The writter talks of the first moment that he met a girl, young and vibrant but who not only looks good but also has alot offer. This books talks about the first touch of his flesh and hers, the shallows breathings and the murmers. The physigue of the girl and his rising bodily tempreture noticable in seconds after seconds and changing. Well, let me not go deeper into this poem but i think it is romantic, especially the place where u mention the figure with a beautifull rose. That was a romantic poem with which i relate to much. Thanks girl [This message has been edited by JamaaL-11 (edited 01-30-2002).]
  11. First, i want to thank Sister Amina to her intrest about her own country, secondly I would like to say as long as we are judging person to his tripe(clan), not his efforts and achievements, we will be the poorest, most underdeveloped nation in the world. I am not defending or attacking anybody at this momment, just i want from the somali people to practice what our religion asking us (to be real muslims), because our Koran and Sunnah ordering us to say the right word (negative or possitve) about the person, nation enz regardless your relation to him/her, his/her poor or richness, his/her powerfull/lessness etc. So, if we want to say something about person, regime etc we have to say the both sides as much as we can, not only dark or bright sides. If you see today the somali debates you see either dark or bright sides and that's unacceptable, i think Aminas way is the best way to open debate, because she has neither oppaosed nor asided the TNG, she just asked us our opinion about it, i am ready to say my word later on this debate, but i am asking again the Bros, and Sis, to be realistic and honest.

Illmatic- if a guy is dripping honey everytime he opens his mouth, then you're a fool to fall for him. I'm not saying all guys are liers, I'm just saying that there has to be more to someone then just sweet talk..and that melting like butter everytime he talks is not gonna help anyone. But if you get to know him...then melt all you want!.

hey Gacaliso, u think every guy is a liar? or did i read wrong. U think if a guy writes a love letter to u he must be liying, u must have self-esteem issues, i am serious.
