    Personalities

hey guys: i don't think i can describe myself in "One" word... but i noticed that my freinds, proffessors, and even relatives have described me as;gifted, rowdy, trustworthy, honest, acrobatic, accomplished, active, frisky, observant, sharp,"adorable" ,fun-loving,old-fashioned(SomeTime),sober,courteous,funny,open-minded ,sociable, agreeable, crazy, gallant, opinionated, sophisticated ,ambitious,creative,gentle,optimistic,spicy,amiable,cultured,genuine,original,spirited,athletic,dependable,humorous,intense,intelligent,daring,gracious,particular,stable....and many more... so you see my freind, doesn't matter who you are or how well you THINK you know yourslef...There is no way you can describe yourself or anyone with just "One" word...for example the first word that comes to my mind when i hear the name "BUSH" is..."Idiot"....lool....but still other words follow...like " Cowboy, Redneck", and such. bye guys...

  3. HEY!! why u all knocking economics?....it aint that bad! Now that I have suitably defended my future profession, I gotta say the most boring unit I have ever taken was....... Macroeconomic Theory ....eeeeeeeeek! I failed this unit spectacularly! The two most interesting ones were: Gender and Development & Islam in the Modern World......needless to say I scored very highly on these.
  4. Whether true or false.....I am sickened, revolted and absolutely demoralised. Thanx alot Yasmine.....4 totally spoiling my day...I didn't really need to kno that!

  6. OK..Somalis & Obesity?.. I thought we would always be accounted on the terms of anarexia(excuse my spelling... me no close to that term...so don't know how to spell it)...Well there is my ethiopian friend...she always says.. Hibo u somalis r safe...coz ur weight usually descends on ur lower body than ur upper.. in other words...we don't gain too much weight in our chests or around our vital..organs...but our butts n thighs mostly pay the price...so if i look at it..she is right!...But then she is petite at the trunk....n large on the upper part...oh my God.. my friend is in danger.. I gotta do my rescue mission...n be a hero! ------------------ Each one of us is a masterpiece in progress

  11. The most interesting ... I liked egyptology and i can sit at one place for more the 6 hours listening and studing the "caucosoid" factor that surrounds the somalis, some egyptologists claiming somalis and nubians have more european gene spoll rather than africans. The boring things i have studied are PE as physical Education-(The european initiative(french style)), what a waste of time
  12. Hehe, Well, Quite-Storm. You have demonstrated yourself and your approaches to debates and discussions. You sound so much in anger and hatrate but i don't think there is a need for all that. Never jump to conclussoins brother, you misundertood the whole concept of this thread. I have accepted the Somali women for what they are worth, never did i denied them any praise. All we were talking about here was "can the Somali girls stop being so complicated". So i guess you better rephrase your insults and turn them into arguements rather than personal attacks. It takes few brain cells for one to think clear of matters discussed here. I have been some situations before, like jumping to conclussions and insulting anyone who says a word about Somali girls. But now we are all grow up and we can talk about matters in a mature environment, to answer and to ask questions. Quite-storm You have shown your reaction to this topic but I hope you realise that we are not into bad-mouthing each other when we can understand each other

  23. When you think about the differences between work and prison, maybe prison isn't so bad... IN PRISON.......You spend the majority of your time in an 8x10 cell. AT WORK........You spend most of your time in a 6x8 cubicle. IN PRISON.......You get three meals a day. AT WORK........You get a break for 1 meal and you have to pay for it. IN PRISON.......You get time off for good behaviour. AT WORK........You get rewarded for good behaviour with more work. IN PRISON.......A guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you. AT WORK........You must carry around a security card and unlock and open all the doors yourself. IN PRISON........You can watch TV and play games. AT WORK.........You get fired for watching TV and playing games. IN PRISON.......You get your own toilet. AT WORK........You have to share. IN PRISON.......They allow your family and friends to visit. AT WORK........You cannot even speak to your family and friends. IN PRISON.......All expenses are paid by taxpayers with no work required. AT WORK........You get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from you salary to pay for prisoners. IN PRISON.......You spend most of your life looking through bars from inside wanting to get out. AT WORK........You spend most of your time wanting to get out and go inside bars. IN PRISON......There are wardens who are often sadistic. AT WORK.......They are called supervisors. IN PRISON.......You have unlimited time to read e-mail jokes. AT WORK........You get fired if you get caught. NOW GET BACK TO WORK!lol@@@@@ Mobb_Deep
  24. Its amazing how we take for granted things like our language or the clothes we wear or our somalism. Yet one day out of the blue comes along someone like sister Ismahan...who was deprived of that right. Ismahaan, u r right sis.. its ur parents to blame...coz they didn't do their part in making u learn of ur heritage. But knowing the fact that u feel proud n u u r doing ur best in accomplishing that mission on ur own..is indeed an act of bravery. I know somalis will laugh at the slightest mistake u make in ur grammar. But throw a deaf ear on them...n do what u do..Know we all stand tall right next to u! Anytime u need help.. just holla! ------------------ Each one of us is a masterpiece in progress
  25. thanks it is really scary, i do not mean to be noisy, but is this hadith sahiih, in other words do you have its sanad, because there were those hadiths that i used to hear and now i found out that, they are weak.so i do not want to spread things that i'm not sure, it will be great if you can give us more information about the hadith.
