As long as the sons of the glorious SNM decide there will be no blue flag in Somaliland including your beloved Las Canood, it will stay that way.

Zack It is sad you don't know the history of your own region. The Ocaden desert was seceded to Ethiopia then that use to go by the name Abyssinia in 1897. The Mad Mullah's wars in Somaliland came to end in 1920. He had 23 years to fight for his own land in Ethiopia. But at last he was chased like a coward to Oromia running away from Somaliland . He should have fought for his own land in Ethiopia where there was Abyssinian aggression, wasted opportunity eh. ;96 wrote: Ocaden is a territory of the Somali Regional State in Ethiopia. Colonial powers left their footprints in this area beginning with Italy in 1880, followed by Great Britain in 1896, then ceded to the Christian Kingdom of Abyssinia in 1897, reverting back to Italy in 1935-42, and back to Abyssina/Ethiopia in 1942-48. . http://www.filmannex.com/posts/blog_show_post/why-******-isnt-in-the-news-is-the-wool-being-pulled-over-our-eyes-by-susan-sacirbey/33764

For the ignorant people. The difference between a protectorate and a colony. Italian Somalia was an colony, were's Somaliland was a Protectorate. Che Al shabab I suggest you stop snipping around glue and whatever you sniff. Somaliland wasn't a colony but a protectorate. South Africa was a colony where the British, Dutch etc settled and had kids , Somaliland wasn't. See the difference.

From all those distatorus things that were happening at that time. It is common knowledge the British were interested in the coastal areas of Somaliland to provide goods for their Aden colony. Somaliland wasn't even a colony. They were never interested in the interior until the terrorist Mad Mullah started attacking the interior. We can say most of the damage inflicted in the interior groups is because of the terrorist Mad Mullah who didn't even have the guts to free his kins in Ethiopia who were facing Ethiopian aggression at that time including leading to the deaths of thousands of Khaatumos. Unless you have been living under a rock Somaliland is a sovereign state so technically it is independent hence why your "Somalia" officials including your uncle Ali Khalif Galaydh the man who embezzled many funds destined for the south can't set foot in Somaliland nor can he visit his so called hometown of "Las Anod". On top of being a sovereign state we also have little stooges whose lands we control by the names Xaabsade, Xaklotoosiye and other pay phones. I think that is pretty impressive, only de jure recognition is left.

Treaty to keep the horn peaceful isn't protection. It is called playing it smart and even the Garaad of Sool at that time Gerad Ali Farah was killed historically when he wanted to break away from the Mad Mullah's influence to sign a treaty. He knew what was good for his people but unfortunately the Mad Mullah led many Khatuumo youths to their death beds while his own kins were being occupied by the Ethiopians across the border. Today large sections of Khaatumos have nothing to show for, for blindly following a mad man.

What other fact do you need when he hails from your own area and your people have claimed him? You seem confused and allergic to the truth young khadar.
-
The tuulo is settled by Khaatumo people and they proudly claimed him as one of their own in their website.
-
Well they never cried or claimed they were massacred in that battle or defeated. But I can post Khaatumos from their women to man crying in the streets of London protesting against a "major" massacre. Malaha waxbii isku ogyihiin under all that bravado you guys tried to claim. Young Khadar I suggest you enroll on Somali language classes before coming to SOL. You have truly embarrassed yourself by claiming "Melez's group". The guy who constructed this small statue is a Khaatumo native regardless whether he polished the shoes of Melez or not.

Hambalyo. Carafat tasi way ku dhaftay ee iska samir Aaliyyahna amii ku dhafta?

I don't know what kind of people you and your friends have been seeing. But the foreigners I know whether Asian, White or Black, know the difference between Somaliland and Somalia well. They even congratulate me on may 18 events and other special Somaliland days.
-
Do you pay the internet bills for each member for browsing internet pages like SOL including the Somaliland, Djiboutian and Ethiopian SOLers? I guess no. Sit down young boy. You're out of your depth.

If the plots are large enough for few fields of crops, it can be turned into a crop field or just a luxurious garden if your parents are into that in their retirement. I hear Alpha has become a gardener and replaced the skilled Oromo gardeners since his relocation to Somaliland, perhaps he could provide some tips when needed.

Ok. I can understand why you would have a plot in Ubaale, it has a great agricultural potential. Good soil for growing crops and just few kms outside southern Hargeysa. Ubaale Agricultural Project . Are you involved in this project in any way? : http://horn-invest.com/Projects.php

Reer Ubaale are your reer abti miya which makes me your distance abti from the far east in Sanaag/Sool. It is not uncommon to see Somaliland goats on top of cars, some even can claim thin walls. Arabic mountain goats are something else though.

You don't have to be a superhero to be part of an elite league. Elite = simply the best - the cream of the crop of the SNM society.

Nice pictures. Where are the green fields located shown in those pictures? Looks like Ubaale or Gabiley.
