I am not talking about people who don't support it, but people who try to demoralize it and its people or wish bad things upon it like Mali-Star, Oba etc. Such people are in no place to cry "racism" when they get a taste of their own medicine. That might be it or the theory of Somalis immigrating from the north as in the historical texts and conquering lands pushing out ethnic groups like Gallas (Oromos) is more plausible. All those groups are Cushitic so it might have been possible, but to claim Bantu ethnic groups who immigrated from West Africa many many years ago to East Africa and South Africa displacing the local Khoisan Kalahari desert people to be an ethnic "Somali" doesn't make sense.

They can be from Arabia way back and still be Somali as they founded it. The Somali ethnic group is not very old, there is no recorded history of it past 1,000.It might as well be an offshoot of the larger Arab ethnic group for all we know. As for the Bantus their native tongue is not even cushitic languages but Niger-Congo languages,you would have made more sense if you were trying to claim nilotic groups such as Rendille, Dinka, Nuer they are more closer to Somali ethnic group than Bantus.

Living somewhere in a period of time doesn't make you a certain ethnic group. There are Somalis who lived in England over a century, doesn't mean they are an English ethnic group but they are British in nationality terms..
