He even ‘insulted’ the secessionists – la soo sasabo - is he dealing with a child or a jealous wife - which violates the Ankara accord. How disappointing. That she is from Khaatumo is neither here nor there,, she could have been from Hargeisa and still pose the same laymanish and evidient question and still get the same answer, as it has always been obvious ( at least to those of us who understand ) where the president stands regarding the unity of our Nation. The president answered valiantly despite the dubious nature of statehood of Khaatumo, I enjoyed his honesty regarding those who feel wronged and the federal governement's approach where he clarified that going to war with our breethen in the North is never an option. Now those who lined with our good professor Glaydh's cry of foul and his illigal motion in the federal parliament can breeth and support their president.

To keep that point stand to reason and preferably a sound one , Xiin failed to that end as he is miserably wrong denying the Governor of Bay the right to express his view regarding what is taking place in another Somali city , namely Kismayo , which is (in my view )an obvious illigal gathering orchestered by a faction of the Somali army due to nothing but for Clanish reasons. Worse is the obvious but never stated reason of why Xiin is denying the Bay governor to talk about what is happening in Kismayo while he sheepishly grants the same rights to the Governor of another Somali city ( town) , namely Garowe. In my view the whole point of Jubaland and Tolka has gone beyond the sound reason of it is the Somali government that is supposed to do the politiking of the country while that faction of the Somali army is supposed to do it's job and fight the terror group of al-shabab. Lastly it goes without being mentioned that the Ethiopian soilder in Baidao is by no any rational measure less protective or more friendly than the Kenyan soilder in Kismayo which cements Xiin's clanish sentiment regarding the forien preference. This military faction has wrapped itself the Tolka glue and is acting as an equivilant power to the federal government since it gave itself the blessing of the Somali people and the international community's blessing to form a state in the Jubas, so it will either be defeated politically and militarily or it will get it's Jubaland and truimf as the mother of that state. time will tell. And i may have said all the above because o fclanish reasons, now, can we utter anything without being Clanish?

Spot on GNONGE, That something is not so state about Puntland state is something i noticed long ago, and ii saw the eggs but not the rotten, hence my thread name by then was Puntland eggs. Puntland is a state founded by the ashes of the dying ambers of the ( to borrow my guru's terminology ) to be defeated lot , it was founded by the necssity of the shadow of the bililiqo mighty Mogadishu clan's winner takes all mentality, but it has found its clan strength and some political maturity when the late YEY overpowered the Elders' choice, namely Jaja Ali Jama. Yey may not have been a man of clan as he disappointed many including the Tolka and our beloved ONLF, but he was a pragmatist which gave Puntland the statehood and legality it enjoyed through the begining of the difficult period of post-yey, Puntland lost Makhir and even Khaatumo as of late and that put the Dominant clan in puntland between a rock and a hard place, hence this visionless reactionary politiking of today. Let us hope that there are enough policymakers from North Galcaio in Puntland state to reposition our only state of our to be federal Somalia, as it seems today, the Imam's lences had grown smaller that he can see through the sub sub clan's interest.

Yes, i object the forming of a state by a faction of the "Somali Army" and of course i object forming a state that is yet to be wholly liberated. Lastly , i object the amount of disrespect shown to the PM and his government. -

Yes Xiin, even me is disappointed with the glaring joke of having been a faction within the "Somali army" under the Federal government that fought alongside the Kenyan army liberating the region to becoming the Tolka army who all of a sudden (while huge swaths of the region are still run by the terrorists) took on itself the formation of a federal state. I still think the PM should get response from Madobe & tolka , Clan emotions must be overcome. -

I think Mr Madobe and tolka should have seised the oportunity when PM Saacid was there in our own country in Kismayo, instead of Mombasa, nevertheless ,It is ok as long as they solve the state-building issue themselves , even though the blame lays with Madobe and tolka for riding on the Kenyan horse of "the buffer zone" and running to pappa Uhuru instaed of dealing with thier Somali brother, namely PM Saacid.

^^^ In the affliction of Islamic Faith, the rabble need to suppose any Somali opting for another Faith does it for money and is probably from the wrong clan, namely other Faiths (specially Christianity)are so baseless and vacuous thier adherents has to bribe others to bring them to fold. In another words no sane person of Somali ethnicity can or will think of his/her own and conclude the Islamic prophet could be wrong, hence "Somali Maxamed". The good news is even Somalis of all clans are naturally endowed with the ability to think for themselves, unfortunately though it doesen't happen as often as it should, i am potimistic.

Ehem ehem, There seems to be incohessive theme of sentiments flying around this issue, first off Mr Khadafi has presented more of a hatred than justice inquiry, and we've but with contemp to deal with his coupling of an Elder of a certain Clan and this non clanish issue of looted properties, this glaring insult to some clan's elders is tatemount to more of hate sentiment than justice inquirey, but it won't be met on that level.

There are arguments to be had here allright , but none of the ones presented by Xiin as in the good professor doing what he was elected for or the one presented by our dr_osman and Xiin for that matter, namely the ingredience of the talks in Ankara are semeterical to those in Garowe. I do for once agree with my Guru regerading our good professor yelling off-side for a goal both the referee ( IC ) and the Flag-refrees ( Somali mainstream poltiking ) has whistled for. Despite my unquestionable sympathy for the Khaatumo cause i (as a supporter of the PM Saacid's federal government and the president of the Republic) have to highlight that the good professor can't have it both ways, namely milking the Republic as it's gateway towards the Somaliland issue and not deliver any Khaatumo political or Military achievements to the table. These talks were started by the previous TFG and the FG can't and won't act on delusion as both men promissed me, yes this Federal government won't ( read atheer Hassan's libs ) by any chance compromise Somalia's dissmemberment but as long as the good professor's Khaatumo is of no real significance either politically or militarily, the Federal governement has to deal with the reality on the ground , namely the shots in Laasanood ( the good professor's birth place ) are called from Hargeisa due to the flipflopping attitudes Khaatumo folks became famouse for. Now dealing with the reality infront of us , Puntland needs to take it's responsibility militarily ( i must admit though i was not fan of the late Yey, i shared his practical policies and visions, i even supported him on the Ethiopian tank, despite my belonging to the Mogadishu clan ) and stop punishing the Khaatumo entity for having rebelled against Puntland, Puntland's "i_told_you-so" policy towards Khaatumo is what got us here, as Atheer Saacid and atheer Hassan can't send federal troops ( read : clan troops) from Mogadishu and Abud waaq. That and only that could challenge the Somaliland entity to it's limits and show how far it's willing to go regarding it's hijacking policies towards Awdal and Sool.
