  1. ^And how far does whatever entity you support is willing to support him as the TFG's PM?
  2. ^Not that i consider the TFG the best national intrest-guard, Nor do i believe PM Nur Cade would get the full support of the people of Mogadishu in a bid to counter-weight and dissatisfy the Ethiopian generals, but woulden't you worry as much( if not more) about the satisfaction both Hargeisa/Bosaso-boys provide the Ethiopian generals? given that one cares genuinely about the Somali people.? Nur Cade is not dull enough to oversee the fact that Both Hargeisa and Bosaso administrations support or/and almost rejoice the presence of the Ethiopian generals in his(my) birth place , namely Mogadishu. A Hargeisa boy's sentiment of dislike for the Ethiopian presence in our country specially in Mogadishu is something to be delightful of, yet ironically for the wrong reasons.

  7. I've only one word for this störtlöjligt! Författare: Eidarus Adan Those are the words of the-to-be " Wakiil". In the begining i really had some hope for the Somaliland case , but feeding the poor people of Hargeisa/Burao/Berbera and here on SOL with such crap reminds me of what one read about the Victory pride in the streets of Cairo back in the 6day war.
  8. What would the individually-most-compelling-argument for Muslim be? 1: The exquisiteness of the physical world! 2: The reliability respectuvely accuracy of the 'Kuran' and 'Sunnah' ! 3: The life and character of Mohammed (Pbuh) ! 4: Islam's positive influence on culture and individuals ! 5: Your individual experiences ! 6: Born to Muslim parents and see no reason to change ! 7: Something else Given that an argument ( a suggestion if you like ) is for a reason or another more compelling than others , a motivation would be intresting.
  9. ^And we're supposed to line-up and forgive you, respectively take-revenge on you? if so,i stand first in line. ps/ we've no plans dying nor do we know of someone who is gonna quit SOL, so we demand more of the same Ibtisam we once fell-in-love with. This Ghanima lacks the exquisiteness and catchiness of Ibtisam. Had the exhange with the cool Cat came earlier, Here is what Ibtisam would say about people beeing right respectively wrong. "i think its is wrong to assume that actions motivated by the desire to be right cause as much evil or as much conflict as ones moivated by hatred or greed. the desire to be right is more likely to cause problems between smaller number of people rather than creating major conflicts between people, it may lead to a verbal outburst, but thats about it. Most people just agree to disagree and assume that they are right while the other one is stup*id and does not know what the hell they are talking about."
  10. ^sounds more like an attraction to some!,nevertheless, Why just "a brother" ( as in Black/preferably Somali ) ? You've white brothers who "fear" Allah and look " normal".

  12. ^Not only an optimist but incureably apologetic , had i been to judge that is, specefically towards the romance between the Somali tribal mind-set and its bad need to root to Islamic tribal history, needlessly to mention the indiscriminate killings among the 'Landers' if you must. But that is for another day, for now let us deal with the nuts and bolts of the tribe-mind-set, be it one or several tribes). Maybe i was not that exaggerating when i claimed that the desire to belong to the Tribe of the prophet is fueling the tribal mind-set. have you ever thought of Somalia's ( the ethnic Somalis as a single entity) surname? , yes it's 'Mohammed'. You're forgiven for having not addressed a crowd of Somalis by stating " waryada Somali Mohamed " becouse no other name applied could yeild more attention. Such is the direct approach of the message in the tribal weaves. You're right about the pre-islam Somali history was a lost vital knot in our culture, though as any culture no matter how uncivilized it woulden't just vanish without leaving its mark on us. Sadly Islam or Muslim-Somalia does not encourage its revival, on the contrary, its been wiped out for good or worse.

  15. ^And you're only correct to the " continous tense" in your statement ?!, an attempt to understand the gist in what Xidigo's statement conveyed woulden't be to ask for?! Back to the topic: What is the meaning of belonging to a one-tribe nation if distruction is acheiveable in the clan/sub clan level?. I once ended up in a room on Paltalk, the room held the name of an " outcast " clan name, i was curious to exchange with someone from the so called "outcast clans" once in my life, ( given that no one on SOL belongs to an "outcast clan" ). It all went wrong (in my view) since i coulden't help but put on the guilty Tuxedo and went with something like " you know i grew up in Sweden, i don't believe in lower or higher casts",. All of a sudden i was making the liberal-mantra the native Swedes used to make in my childhood, ( du vet , jag har inget imot svarta, bla bla ). Beeing a victim of the very imaginary superiority of my to-belong-to Clan, i lost the opportunity to chit-chat a fellow Somali person and online at that, just becouse of the name of that Room. I think the tribal-mind-set is indirectly supported or encouraged by the Islamic history, a history Somalis are so in-love with. Some Somali Clans/subclans are vowed at to act and keep imitating one of those Arab tribes in the Islamic history. It seems that to belong to the prophet's(PBUH) tribe is the Somali clan fuel.
  16. Me. No risk of that , but what is amazing is the reason dêtre of Mr AfricaNow's base of support regarding "his" Somaliland people ,and "their" wonderful dream and "his" responsibility to safeguard that dream. I think its about time i dust off my tiny Somaliland flag !!

Miss Bone Thugz, before you speak about changing youth and being a role model to youth, check yourself first and your attitude, which stinks. From your persona and behavior on SOL i would say u are the one in need of mentoring and help, attitude adjustment is needed, lack positivity and integrity, I can only imagine what u would write had there been no golden rules on this site. but then again it could be just a "persona" online and you are compeltly a different person on the street. In any case this is a good initiative and wonderful that u care about the youth, the best of luck in your endeavours Insha-Allah. Contradiction redefined?
  20. Well, step aside everybody, its about 'TIME' Johnny takes some of your time. Firstly, Time is a Concept, and a weird one at that. The evolution of time as we know it goes back to the Greeks , Aristotle after having anylized the subject found three fundmental problems that relate to time. 1: the existence of time 2: the connection of time and change 3: the problem of continuity just as good Xiin Aristotle has the following to say “So time is either change or some aspect of change; and since it is not change, it must be some aspect of change” and “ …not only we measure the movement by the time, but also the time by the movement, because they define each other” Both Xiin and Aristotle were severly criticized by St. Augustine. Reffering to the battle of Joshua against the Amorite he stated: “Let no one tell me then that time is the movement of heavenly bodies. At a mans prayer the sun stood still, so that the battle could be carried through to victory (Josh.10:12ff) the sun stopped but time went on” Then came Newton and pushed that criticism to another level by introducing the linear concept(absolute Time ). From the Absolute time came the idea of the 'relative time' demosntrating that 'absolute time'is unmeasureable and 'simultaneity' fades away. To that point some thousands of years elapsed, but it diden't take more than three years before the concept of 'timeSpace' took shape and were introduced with the following words " „The view of space and time which I wish to lay before you have sprung from the soil of experimental physics, and therein lies their strength. They are radical. Henceforth space itself, and time by itself, are doomed to fade away into mere shadows, and only a kind of union of the two will preserve an independent reality” . It took even less 'time' before the 'Dynamic time' was introduced , Yesterday i was reading about how a road in a little village in UK suddenly became a heavily trafficed spot becouse the GPS finds it the 'quickest' shortcut to a popular store,,the GPS takes into consideration that both the influence of motion and gravitational effects are relevant to 'TIME'. hence that village road. We've to skip the 'Comsological time' becouse it takes us right back to Aristotle's ideas, so let me introsuce the 'UNIVERSAL TIME' . A freind of mine thinks that to define both God or Time is to deny their existence.
