The southern dialect has fewer arabic loanwords. Another thing i noticed is some grammatical structures. For instance, you as a southerner said: Kama hadlooyo where a northener/midlander ( quite the standard form actually) would say kama hadlayo. These forms waa baxooyaa, waa cunooyaa instead of waan baxayaa, waan cunayaa or waan cunaayaa are found in the xamari dialect and are totally incorrect.
