Even the North needs to jump on. Go for a Somali look rather than trying to be *new* cause it will never look modern unless it becomes like Dubai but we can create majestic sights. It's not just large buildings but small things such as doors, windows etc. Look at old day Bosaso: You have to work with what you have the South needs to have that tropical feeling with white buildings - palm trees. etc. The north would have more of an Arabian feeling.
