  2. ^^ don't kill the girl Mr Muscleow
  3. some of you have probably seen already- still a timely reminder for all of us.
  4. rubbish article. sometimes i think these papers don't do any research when they write about somalis. they just repeat things they read on other articles, stuff like, " most Somalis follow the moderate sufi Islam and reject the fundamentalists".
  5. he he, thanks for the laughs( though this was supposed to be serious topic). the nose biting part reminded of this somali brother who once arranged a fight with an overgrown cadan boy in a local alleyway. it was A cold, wet winter day, and nobody was winning the fight. so the somali brother started to bite the cadan boy, like really hard all over his body. and every time the cadan was screaming like he had been stabbed with a knife. knowing the odds were against him, the cadan boy started to furiously scream for his friends to intervene: aaaaaaaaaaaac, aaaaaa aaaaaaac helpppppppppp, am gonna dieeeeeeeeeee. ( they didn't and he lost the fight) my first days( i was 7) in primary school were not as violent as ibtisam( she must have been part of the burco mafia ). though I do remember fighting with the teacher and kicking her legs( she was disabled in one leg). And I did beat up the kids too. but, one day, i stupidly picked a fight with the biggest, fattest, Irish bully. All I remember about that fight was me being on the floor afterwards and he was standing. PS. i hope the kid doesn't hold hands with male associates like they do in somalia. horta, wth is that all about? @marx, I always knew you was a sellout G.
  6. I heard tutankhamun was from Qardho and cleopatra was from burco. ps. the brother looks somali as anyone. he just hasn't spent enough time in the sun.
  7. ^^ibtisam; is confusing me with someone else. I am a peaceful Muslim/Somali activist, one who is trying to spread love and compassion. @marx, what are you on about? insulting sisters? anyways, let us not hijack this thread. bring yourself to the politics section thread which you just fled from like a zebra fleeing from a lion.

RUBBISH !!!!!!! rubbish squared plus wahid, thalatha, ethnayn. lakin, seriously, MARX is talking baris today, not that he normally doesn't.
  9. ibti, i was taking the micy out of the title. i mean how does one measure realness by reciting a few somali words and sounding a bell? a fish and chips sister that can't speak somali could be as a real as anyone. but I should stop here before MR MMI goess off on a somali cultural lesson. lol jb, dunno about hargeysa, but fat is an insult, if not insensitive and rude, in many parts of the world, well, maybe except for mauritinians.(spelli nng?)., lol

I can only hope that Secretary Clinton will do the right and in doing so, she will put pressure on our neighbours and call on them to commitment troops, especially kenya. No sane Somali would ever wish for Ethiopians and Kenyans, who have a vested interest in keeping Somalia on its knees while political pretenders perform their periodic ''pilgrimage'' to Addis Abebba and Nairobi, to send troops to Somalia. Ever since the creation of the foreign-created regime in 2004 and the shameless quisling who went to Addis Abebba to request 20.000 Ethiopian troops, it has become normal to the foolish to openly state their wish to have Xabashi and Kenyan soldiers in Somalia. Where are the days that you were put on trial for been suspected of working with Ethiopia and Kenya?? good spot, ya Muqdisho Mujahid.
  11. i prefer fake sisters. jb. have some shame warya , this could be a sol user.

  14. ^^ tiss. not nature again. dont ppl ever get tired of her? ps. where is it?
  15. ^^ your intention is good, lakin it would be nonsensical if the central government was weak at the behest of the local regions. imagine if there was a foreign invasion or natural disaster; the central governments would be dependant on securing support from the local regions, which they could obviously use as a political bargaining tool. This is not what federalism is all about. Federalism means a strong central state( India,Germany, USA) which has a capable defense mechanism and the ability to spend on education and infrastructure. Of course it gives relative autonomy to the federal regions in certain areas, though it should never be weaker than them in any sense. All of this will not be done in your example whereby a staggering 80 percentage of tax is allocated to the local regions. Perhaps you are correct in that Somalis don't like centralized dicatorships; however, Somalis will someday have 2 reconcile, compromise and give away some of their powers to a central government, that is, if they want to join the modern world. ps. Arsene Wenger is a dicatorial freak. his influence even affects the board members.
  16. Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Not bad but not enough. The best formula would be a weak central government that guides the states and a strong local government with all the powers to do local issues and set their own agendas. Only national defense, foreign affairs, and the federal budget should be left to the central government. Roadwork’s, healthcare and education should be left to the states. Economic development and foreign direct investment should be left to the states. 80% of local taxes should go to the state i.e. Puntland and 20% to the center i.e Mogadishu. Each Federal state shall have its members elected by its population and those who are sent to the Federal level are also elected by the states. Thus a weak central government would stop any ideas of coups and power grab and the regions would also develop faster. a central government in charge of defense, foreign affairs and the federal budget which will " guide the state"; but it is weak and only recieves only 20& of overall tax revenue. Now that is one big joke of a government.
  17. and if the shame of our people being embarrased by Amy winehouse , a crack addict was not enough.....
