Mogadishu: Nur Cade's failure 11 out of 15 ministers resign
Fabregas replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
^^ OH,I do think the two horned one was serious when he uttered the above. In any case, he seemed to have broken his own constitution; the one he drafted with Mr Burcawi-Alsheffieldawi-the Hamishian. http://www.somaliaonline.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/9/15506 ps. I don't think the bowers that be will let mr White Light(Nur cade) go so easily. They invested alot of energy and time in this gentleman. -

General Duke is the new Somali ambassador to Tehran
Fabregas replied to dhulQarnayn's topic in Politics
^^He's no longer your typical fadhi ku dirir cat, ninku wa ambassador dhan. At least he's not on the sideliens moaning; the man is putting what he believes into action, which can't be send for many people. -
Actually, the origins of the name of Awdal are somewhat different to what MMI is claiming. Good sources have that a Somali gentlrman was sent to Britain during the colonial times, when he returned back home, he got off at Zeila, shed a tear for the beauty of the homeland, and uttered the combined English and Somali words of: "OH-DAL-OH-DAL, how great it is to see you". This man became an influential leader/governor in that part of Somalia and the OH-DAL came into official usage, but was corrupted into Awdal by Somalis.

Actually, he labelled his kindsmen as sympathising with or being "muqawama- terrorists" and supported the Ethio onslaught against them. As for him being wronged because of his clan, my tears roll for the poor guy!

No, I never implied Sheikh Shariff is off to legitimize Xabashi presence in the South. And indeed the Djibouti farce can be reduced to being a carefully engineered stunt, but not cheap, rather costly! Though I do think those that took part probably had good intentions and meant well.
