Firstly,If you're a man, answer my question in the other thread. Secondly, I don't support Alshabab manhaj or their metholodigical approach to Islam. I follow the mainstream Ahlul Sunnah of the Salaf, which is against declaring takfir/killing government officials on people and the manhaj of Osama Bin Laden. At the same, I am not a munafiq who supports Xabashis occupying masajids and looting Somalia in Muqdisho,as some who call others Munafiqs proudly do! Thirdly, it is good to see that you're not part of the snitching crew. There is some hope for you! Ngonge, what makes you think they won't do he same here?

Dear Arsenal, Being the SOmali gloryhunter I am, sadly our relationship is over. I am officially dumping you for a team with more money: Man City. Good Bye. Norf, I heard he played Bendter upfront on his own and left Adebayor on the bench. Manz losing the plot!

^ 1. How do you know those men were joining Alshabab? For there are multiple groups in Somalia. Secondly, killing of innocent and women is mostly pure propoganda and highly exaggerated. 2. Are you certain that they would carry out suicide bombs and killin of innocents? 3. Are you sure these actions wouldn't bring more harm to the Somali community? In other words if a mere two people were involved in the financing and gathering of people- you are going to spy on a whole masjid and ruin the name of the Muslim community in that town? p.s I shall start a thread about "morality", "Islam" and the situation in Somali, soon, inshallah!

^^What is wrong is blind following and not criticizing any entity based on ones support. And Naxar, you are the classic example of this: the TFG can do no wrong, the president is marvellous, the rag tags will be crushed by Ethiopia and all will be rosy thereafter. The principle of the TFG supporters on here, in most cases, is to simply support and cheer for one old man in the TFG, whilst hoping that he will crush all before him and miraclously bring SOmali out it's misery. That is not called principle, but blind following. For godness sake, even the Ethiopians have realised these couldn't run a Zoo.

^^Yes, but a significant portion of the SOmali Population do not see taking part in the resistance in Somalia as a criminal offense, although it is probably a criminal offense in certain Western countries. Over-hearing some dudes wanting to blow up a subway or clear knowing that there is terror plot is not the same as a grown man going to SOmalia to participate in a which he sees as legitimate and right. I would definitely inform the inform the authorities on the former, but the latter wouldn't be my shaqo/job, lest I had certain evidence that these men were going to blow up innocents, which is most probably not the case, as most are(probably) going to resist Ethiopian forces. I know many people are scared to say that, but that is the situation. Secondly, of course, he who has nothing to hide need not feel any fear. However, we know that the draconian anti-terror measures have detained innocent people for large periods of time, jailed people for minor offenses with litle evidence, thus opportunistic people will seek to exploit the tense situation. What applies theoritically, that is everyone is equal and entitled to a fair case, doesn't always occur in realiyu, especially int the current climate. Lastly, in any case the reliablity and motiviations of the witness, ie those that bring forth the case, must be scrutinized. In this case, the politics section of SOL is enough to give a little hint, as to the motivations behind the sudden descent of morality and heroic attempts at saving crying mothers, from certain folks :

Rooble, bro I had a hunch or even some intelligence that ABU qarxiyey and his crew were blowing to cause destruction and mayhem, then I would have no qualms on informting the authorities. Ditto, if a child was horrible locked, abused and not fed. This is the duty of every Muslim and if you had evidence that somethuing was going to that kind of shiisha: you could find yourself in an empty cell. But grown men going to SOmalia is not the same as bombs going off in London or Madird? Is it? Every case has a context and every informer has a motive. I don't particularly know the detials of this case, but knowing the tribal character of the folks who are proudly claiming snitchnimo and jajusinimo on here, and in the Politics section: this has nothing to do with caring for innocent mothers or getting their lost sons. They are the same people who gloated and cheered for the suffering the mothers and children in the SOuth, which was labelled as a " clean up operation". Furthermore, I understand the pain of any mother who could not find her son. Imagine someone you raised all your life, your beloved son dissappearing just like that? Having said that, I'm not going to be a liar : we all know plenty of SOmalis have gone back dhulki, in ay dagal galan! Are we going to become jajus and spy on every Masajid those people attended? Are we going to report the police on every associate or friend they had? You see, some people are trying to use the suffering of emotional mothers to score political points against their adversaries. In Islam, if an action that we take leads to a great fitan, then we postpone that action for the greater good of the ummah. In this context, becoming lowly jajus and snitches, only makes more problems for the Somali community. The society will become Ostracized , Masajids will get raided(locked up?), innocent folks will get locked up and SOmali kids will be without fathers and children. Is it a price to pay for opportunistic purposes? And, it is not like grown men who have made their decision are going to come back from SOmalia? ya? Protocol, through elders, ulema, etc, and not spying on worshippers. (if that was what happened).

Originally posted by Mintid Farayar: There's seems to be a consolidation of Hargeisa as the new 'Xamar', politically, economically, and socially. Even Yusuf Garad of the BBC(who has strongly opposed Somaliland since the Abdiqasim days) keeps his family there! In realpolitick, this gives the Somaliland administration increased powers over the whole Somali situation. Notice the abortion of the new TFG passport by the simply statement from Somaliland that it wouldn't be honored in Hargeisa. Also, how all Somali political leaders rushed to distance themselves from the recent attacks in Hargeisa including the Godfather of Al-Shabaab, Dahir Aweys. While those of us in cyberspace can afford to exchange taunts from the safety of our immigrant homes, those on the ground, it seems, can no longer afford to offend the administration in Hargeisa. It might not be long before we hear Abdullahi Yusuf claiming to be a friend of Somaliland! Xamar seems quite inhospitable for him lately and Puntland has swaggering pirates armed with grenade launchers and coffers of cash... Well said! As a percausion, I think SL should install nuclear warheads and a defensive shield on the border between SL and PL. And they should send secret spy drones to monitor the Islamists in the South. What SL do about the communists?

A&T. I think you need to create a new agency: JPRA(Jin Posession Relief Agency). I think Nuune should take that post 2. p.s. I am thinking of declaring seccession from this government- who will join me?

Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection .” {Book 43, Volume 3, Number 622: Sahih Buhari} JZK for the hadith, ya Rahima, though some people might think it equates to the morality of becoming lowlife jajuus and snitches in the masajids- in order to score political points. SOmali problems should sorted out the traditional way; police should be a last resort.

nUR, ibn Al Qayyim is truly an inspirational writer, even if you read the english translations. One Sheikh told us that he is reduced to ears when he reads some of Ibn Al Qayyim's writings. May Allah accept and reward the efforts of Ibn Al Qayyim and his teacher Ibn Taymiyah. p.s. the book is called " The Magnificent Journey".
