So now we promoting warlords with brand new suits?
-
@Emperor, who is my clan and how do you know we are not isku reer? You wouldn't want to hurt your ilmadeerayaal would you? @Abwaan, Nuclear weapons would be as a deterrent. Too many proxy wars have been fought inside Somalia. Also i think this is a very good move by Chavez. However, the old socialist communist system stand little chance in todays world. Maybe Cuba could be seen as the exception. But i still think Chavez needs to get a little balance, for we are not in at the heigh of Soviet power...and the spread of communist ideology. Even China has learned to make some compromises( to the good of their economy).

I see the oday has some new admirers.....

This will be Somalia in the future inshallah, once we get rid of the warlords. Somalia should withdraw from the African Union, Igad and the Arab league, oh yeah and the United(usless) Nations. Somalia must also develop nuclear weapons.......

No suprises there.....

Not neutral.....

Duke, how can you make up such gross distortions? Those young men braved tanks and missiles for days and night upon end. Whilst inflicting heavily losses on the Ethiopian army. Who could ony respond by firing missiles to every corner

Somalis need to get over claiming towns. Even the Catholics and Protestant in Northern Ireland are learning to live with each other........

If there are talks, they would probably be held in Adiss, Nairobi, Jibouti..... not Hargeysa......

@Khalaf, in the recent fighting the occupation forces lost more men and weaponry than the resistance. Most of the people the Ethiopian shelled were innoncent civilians. They didn't kill or capture any promiment leaders. Nor have they captured any of their weappons. However, it was not wise that they be holed up in place for weeks and weeks. Thus they have hid and buried their weapons for another day. One also suspects those of clanish orientation will know negotiate with the Ethiopians and their warlord allies. The warlords who have been installed in Somalia are built on an alliance of warlord militias and clans, who are united on nothing else but fighting terrorism in the name of Ethiopia and America. There are even great divisions within the senior ranks of the installed warlords. If the Ethiopian leave more and more divisions will emerge within them. Just look at the people they are using to "tame" Muqdisho, the likes of Mohamed Dheere and Qeybiid etc..... old shamed warlords. These men can't and will not inspire confidence in the Somali populace. Neither will using their old moryaan militias to patrol the streets.

To be honest i didn't read it, what was the moral of the sheeko?

This was one waste of a thread................

One of the main reasons why Ethiopia is in Somali right know is due to fear of support from Somalia(I.C.U) for the O.N.L.F and other Jabhads. Zenawi could solve the issue peacefully in Ocadenia, which would probably solve the problems between Somalia and Ethiopia. But one thinks he is a man hellbent on domination and tryanny................

Nothing about Islamic Court members. And then the words of the vet-turned warlord himself: Quote;Ra'iisul Wasaaraha Dowladda KMG ah ee Somalia Cali Maxamed Geedi, ayaa maanta sheegay in xubno ka tirsan Maxkamadaha Islaamiga ah oo labisan dareeska ciidamada Dowladda ay dhibaatooyin ka wadaan magaalada Muqdisho. Once again prove to me that Islamic Courts members were dressed as T.F.G soldiers, whilst looting!

The Latest Situation in Mogadishu from Another Point of View
Fabregas replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
Somali economist, those young men have a patience and believe in their creator like no others on this earth today. Thus they don't measure defeat and victory in the corrupt secular orientations of today. Whilst the Somali warlords place their trust and existence on the tanks and hecliopters on a Christians from Axum.Ilahay swt wuu aqabalaya ducada Musliminta, tolow miyu aqbalaya ducada Tigreyga? -
The Somali economist, i gather you still have no evidence to back up your claims. Just like you tried to claim the populace of Muqdisho had no problems with the Ethiopian troops. Again i ask you, where is your evidence apart from the words of a vet-turned warlord? The very same man who claimed that terrorists were orchestrating the war in Dahar etc.....You can't hide the fact that the militias of the warlords government do have an awful history. The names Mohamed Dheere, Qeybdiid ect... donot inspire much confidence, do they? So i wouldn't expect any different from their supporters.

Democratically elect Abdullah Gul and army steps in!
Fabregas replied to Haaraahur.'s topic in General
Funny how the army and the millitant democratic people are blocking the wishes of a democratically elected government. -
Here is more from the Observer: Quote:There are already signs that the transitional federal government is using aid as a weapon - restricting food aid deliveries to hundreds of thousands of civilians, who are also being charged to shelter under trees on the road out of the capital to Afgoye, 30km away. According to the European Union's head of humanitarian aid, Louis Michel, Somalis fleeing the fighting have endured 'systematic looting, extortion and rape by uniformed troops' - only the Ethiopian and government forces have uniforms. And last week uniformed troops commandeered 12 trucks and helped themselves to tonnes of sugar and computers from the recently opened Coca-Cola factory in Mogadishu. Only after aggressive intervention from the Americans and EU did the government agree to allow enough food for 32,000, less than a tenth of the number in need, through its roadblocks heading west on Friday.

Simba Radio only quoted the allegations of a certain Mr Ali Geedi. Now, what other evidence do you have, for fake T.F.G soldiers being caught in action other then the words of a vet-turned warlord? Here is what the Times Newspaper reported about the warlord clan militias, you label as government forces: Quote:“The Government’s own army consists of barely 5,000 “soldiers” — former members of the warlords’ militias who inspire fear, not confidence. They man checkpoints and stand on corners in central Mogadishu, flaunting their semi-automatics. Many chew qat. Some steal and extort (we twice had to pay bribes at checkpoints). Terrified of insurgent attacks, they remove women’s niqabs — Islamic head coverings — so they can see who is underneath.”
