Somaliland wanting to seccede and having a "cosy relationship" with Ethiopia, is not a reason to become a dayuus and support the T.F.G, which has eroded the sovereignity of the Somali state and nation.

What if the people of S.S.C join up with the "majority" in Somalia and reject seccession? Furthermore, why would any vote in Somaliland bee binding on them, since they don't consider themselves to be part of that regime!

One official recalls how the CIA distributed matchbooks in Somalia offering a $10 million reward for the capture of Osama bin Laden. The Somalis complained that they were being cheated because a CIA Web site was offering a $25 million reward. I suppose the extra $15 million dollara would come in handy!

I fail to see how a country can be rebuilt, by using the same old warlords who had plundered Somalia for the last sixteen years. Somalia was kept in anarchy, chaos and lawlessness by the same men whom are being touted as mayors, politicians and nationalists today. These men were sponsored, armed and funded by none other than the Ethiopian regime in Adiss Ababa. Except only this time the warlords have be returned via the use of Ethiopian Tanks funded by weapons illegally brought from Korea thanks to uncle Sam. Of-course the supporters of the "Gangs of Muqdisho" will throw around words like; federalism, institutions, dowladiid, anarchy and reconcialition. These are words are easy to say on the mouth and throw as they will solve all problems. But the fact of the matter is that the invasion of Ethiopia and the subsequent Ethiopia occupation has polarised the Somali community more than ever,if there is not real reconcialition. However, i sincerely doubt there will be any kind of reconciliation or real peace process because the Gangs of Muqdisho are intent on staying on power via Ethiopian Tanks and C.I.A handouts. Moreover, they have time and time again proven themselves to be incompetent liars. We were told that the Ethiopian troops would leave in a week. After this there was a brief period of stability and optimism which maybe could have given more legitimacy to teh so called Federal Government. However, in a show of great insult and shame to the Somali people, the Ethiopians soldiers slept, bathed and ejonyed Somali beaches, occupied some of the most important historical and military insitutions in Somalia, raped Somali women and flew the flags over the capital city of Muqdisho. Thus some groups felt in neccesary to resist these insults and gross shames with what little weaponry they had. Whilst some of our more englightened brothers could not figure out or imagine why or what motivated these people to resist these occupation troops. We were told that these people had real motivations other than; lotting properties, being ideological anti government anarchists and carrying out the dirty work of Osama Bin Laden. Some even said that " if they didn't fight the Ethiopians they would go home". Umm, is it wrong for the Palestinians to resist Israel? Was it wrong for South Africans to resist the aparthied regime? So know after the resistance had put a galiant fight against the Ethiopian troops for 8 straight whilst inflicting mass casualties and deciding that it wasn't wise to continue being holed up in Muqdisho. Some are celebrating the so called liberation of Muqdisho by the Gangs of Mudisho. Hence the titles such as " the clean up is finished" and time to rebuild "Somalia. But a i said before asking the Gangs of Muqdisho( warlords) to rebuild Muqdisho is to like asking Israeli construction companies to rebuild the Palestinians homes they had already demolished. Or like asking Israel to rebuild South Lebanon. Infact, one sees the occupations and invasion of Somalia very similar to the Israeli attempt to install a friendly puppet government in Beirut, whilst using Christian warlords to carry out attrocities against innoncent civilians. In the latest phase we hear the Gangs of Muqdisho are carrying anti Islamic policies such as burning the veils of women and generally humilating them. This is no surprise, seeing as the former leaders of the anti islamic terror alliance are being returned to power once again. These are the same men who immensely attacked our religious principles thus sparking a rebellion via the Islamic Courts union last year. One must bear in mind that these are the same men that were bounty hunting Somali Ulema and handing them over illegally to the C.I.A. But know they have legitimacy and support from the United Nations, who are ironically breaking their own resolutions. In another interesting development the Gangs of Muqdisho have signed of a new terror bill, which basically allows an occupying army to arrest anyone they like in Muqdisho without any real legal process. Are grown intelligent men seriously telling us that these men are here to "rebuild Somalia"? Lastly, the entire so called army of the so called Federal government is built on an slipper alliance of clan militias, whom are united on nothing else than being Ethiopian/C.I.A lackeys. This was demonstrated by the takeover of Kismaayo, which shows the gross differences between the alliance of local warlord/clan militias who have been labeled as a "national army". Most of them the are the former militias of the Gangs of Muqdisho, thus they have no legitimacy or confidence among the Somali people. So if you are wondering what i am waffling, basically, I am saying that the T.F.G project is doomed due to its reliance on the muscle of foreign power and warlord alliances. It is doomed just as the alliances of Karzai and the Malikis of Iraq were doomed to failure. Some say that Somalis isn't Iraq nor Afghanistan. I agree, Somalis never forget the death of their sons nor do they forgive the perpetrators easily. Somalia asked Ethiopia to save her from a "brutal" subclan remember!

Looks like i a started a ticking bomb. No one is denying that qabiil is indeed a reality in Somalia. And yes Qabiils can do things for people. A man from the reer Qhudac Dheere clan, once beat many men from other subclans in a tartan(race) in Somalia. This man was my father, so yes i am proud that my father had the privilege of rarely or never being beaten in race. On a serious note, i know of several organisation based on my subclan alone, who raise money for such activities such as schools and university projects back home. Qabiil itself is not haram nor should we attempt to sugercoat this issue for what it is. Islamc actually encourages one to keep in touch with their close tribal relations. Moreover, the clan system can come into good use, if there are good guys in charge of every clan such as the Wadaads who guided the misguided Waranles and taught them a bit of wadaadish yoga. But the problem starts when bad guys are placed in charge of the Qabiils and everybody supports the baddest guy from their clan no matter what he does. The problem also comes when ppl make such statments such as " Qabil is what comes first in my indentity". Maybe it's because i grew up on a hostile London estate, where ppl hated on you just because your were Somali and the small group of Somalis had to stick together. So i don't define myself by my Qabil. Sometimes am called a Muslim male in the U.K, but most of the time i am called Somali. When i go Europe, i am the guy from the U.K. When i go back to U.K, i realise, i am actually, originally from Somalia. But when i go 2 Somalia, i am the guy from the Ingriis. You'll also find out how much your clan loves you, when you visit Somalia and your "sub clan" members realise that you didn't come back from the U.K loaded with buckets gold. The original fathers of the Arabs and their descendant was Qhahtan, ie the black southern Arabian(Yemen) tribes mentioned in the Quran such as Ad, Thamud, Seba and Hadramut.
