Ngone, why don't give us a proposal for once? Bal adigu wax ku soo tuur?

I tend to freestyle my Somali. But Inshallah I intend to take a course in Somali and Arabic sometime in the future!

I even hear Adiss Ababa is not even theirs(historically)?

Mr Emperor Bush is that your only line of defence "Islamic Fundamentalist" or " Extremist Jihadist". Wax Kale ma haysid miya? @Mr Nugaal, do you seriously believe that Somaliland would support I.C.U and other Eritrean backed regimes would be in cahoots with Somaliland? When I.C.U/Alitixad, O.N.L.F and others are as much a danger to Somaliland as they are to Puntland? Or are we jumping on the terrorist bandgwagon like chief Vet of Somalia(Geedi)? Masakiinta Bombka Amerika ha uu keenina!

Quote:We both want the Ethiopians to leave, but you want them prematurely now and without having grown from the situation and I want them after we have used them to unite us. How can we use them to "unite" us?

War caqligiinu isticmaala alle caqli inawada siiyaye! My Caqli has always and still is telling that any Ethiopian occupation in Somalia would ultimately lead to more conflict between Somali tribes, daily assasinations, suicide bombings and grudges and tension between Somali clans which will take longer to heal.Do you think the thousands killed and detained don't have families, brothers and clan members? My Caqli has told that Ethiopia has been sent to a disaster in Somalia by Bush. Whereby if they stay for the long run, more and more will resist them thus leading to dismorale and banruptcy in their army. And if they leave those they planted in Somalia will be fought and others(clans) will slug it out in Somalia. In other words the presence of Ethiopia will only bring more suffering to the Somali people, who have already suffered immensely. As for Iraq many innoncent people have been killed and civil has already taken place, also the majority of the people want the American occupiers to leave. The only people that don't are the pets they guide.

29 May 2007 Quote:Ethiopian foreign minister, Seum Mesfin, revealed that the thousands of Ethiopian military forces backing the tenuous Somali transitional government would not be withdrawn immediately, saying they rescued the Somali population from Islamic hardliners. Quote:"We need to be certain that such Islamic elements will not disturb either the Somali government or the Somalia population," he said.

I am sorry those of us in the comforts of our homes in the Western World are so eager for that vacuum to ensue but I cannot in all honesty say the same for our war-weary and malnourished people back home. I think the majority of poster here are cyber fakes. Stop drumming for a war and/or battles you are not likely to see! That is the same excuse they use in Iraq. Ohh if the Americans leave Iraqi will descend into chaos. As if it hasn't already descended into chaos. The people who want them stay are the people who won't feel safe if they leave.

Well there aren't thousands of Somali occupying troops in Adiss Ababa. What happened in Somalia, is a bit like Ethiopians putting up the Somali Flag for Siad Bare's invading army. The worst thing is that they chose to do it on the day of the T.P.L.F anniversary(overthrow of Mengistu).

Believe me, as soon as he starts any of that business "foolish cowardly doqon" will be the mildest epithet I would use to describe him. As Centurion said, you've lost all sense of perspective if you can't admire someone's bravery, even if you disagree with their stance. Likewise, I was in admiration of the Islamists' Pan-Somali convictions right up until they left the teenagers to fight the Xabashis while they turned tail and ran. I believe they claimed to be retreating to protect civilian lives... civilian lives they no longer seem to care about to quite the same degree. If today you decided to back up house and head for Somalia to fight them occupiers yourself I would think you were brave and honorable and lived by your word. But if you sit in your safe, air-conditioned apartment and call for death and destruction without sense or aim then I think Alexey is a better man than you are. Being a man isn't about who you do, it's what you do Firsly, Liberation and resistance is not only achieved through fighting. Secondly only people who secretly or openly admire the Ethiopians and their other brethren label giving moral support to the freedom fighters as "cowardice". Lastly, who told you the "Islamists" cut and ran, whislt sending children to die? The Sheikhs, commanders and many of the leaders are still in Somalia resisting.

Ahmed and thousands of others gathered in the capital, Addis Ababa, on Sunday to remember victims of the Dergue, a brutal Marxist junta that ruled from 1974 to 1991. The service marked Quote:the anniversary of the downfall of the junta's leader, Mengistu Haile Mariam — known as "the butcher of Addis Ababa" — who is living in exile in Zimbabwe.

Originally posted by Stealth: So I was right. The only thing Somalia fared better than Somaliland was/is the banana industry . That was then, and still we haven't advanced much. Though Somaliland has done alot better than Somalia as it stands now. Ethiopia is now occupying and we can say mission accomplished to them xabashis. Good article, I enjoyed it mightly. Thanks. As i said to Roobleh, the protecrate of British Somaliland and the current Somaliland are not the same thing.

Very good article. It reaffirms my suspicions and opinions that the peace talks were not really serious. In other words both sides knew that a military battles was in the making. This was due to gross ideological, historical and political differences. Although some may have been serious in trying to reach a peaceful dialogue. The top players such as Yusuf, Zenawi, Aweys, and most importantly American knew that the gun was the only way of settling their conflicts. Nuraddin Farax is offering a very good solution as many others have offered. But i believe we are still stuck in the same place. The differences between these two groups, I mentioned earlier will and is making it difficult for them to come together for the Somali people. Especially after one group as ousted another militarily.

I thought u was talking about Mingiis la tumo. Lakin Masai iyo Balayo baad keentay. lol. I read somewhere that if the British didn't stop the Somali migrations into Kenya, we would be living deep in to their land.

Garaad you say Somali Galbeed is occupied by Ethiopians what about Muqdisho?

Very nice pictures walaal. Bal isu eega sharafta ka muuqata Soomaalidi hore iyo kuwa maanta nahaysta?May Allag grant him peace and mercy amiin.

Those ambitious young men, women and Somali people paved the way so that Somalia could be a free and independent country. So that your fathers and mothers would not be subjects of her majesty the Queen or ant Italian politician. Thus in those days you had no freedom and there was no country called Somaliland. Read the article it says the word "protectrate". You/I/we were controlled from London and Rome. The good Somalis(of those days) in their wisdom recognized that Somalis would more stronger as united people and under one nation/state. Because Ethiopia and Kenya were claiming the ******* territory, N.F.D and even Ethiopia even had her eyes on Djibouti(French Somaliland). I would say the leaders of today such as Riyaale, Warabe, Silanyo,Yusuf, Geedi, Cadde are more backward, uneducated and tribalistic than those Somalis you called backwards. It is not their fault that the union didn't work out. They put the bricks in place for the future Somalis, who then demolished it.

Adeer nagadaa bahasha. U.S.C weren't the only reason that caused mayhem in Somalia. It was mixture of clanishness, corruption and Ethiopian backed warlords. Your family been chased out of Somalia is not a reason to support a murderer. Infact, it makes your reasoning look even more hypocritical. Nobody is asking you to do anything for Somali Galbeed. Rather how can we expect the same genocidal murderers that perpetrated attrocities against them? How can we see their army as heroes and liberators of Somali people when they can't bring peace to the ethnic groups in their own country? This is why you can't convince some people like me that Somali Warlords and Zenawi are heroes and liberators of the Somali people.

I fail to buy the argument that the people in Somaliland are been hijacked by a few individuals( politicians0. I would say a large number of people do support seccession.

@Duke. My religious sentiments are fake and so is my nationalism, so what? I am not asking for your approval. It is for the Somali people to judge who is a nationalist religous or whatnor. I never said that there was going to be any region war. Infact, it was that said there was hundreds of Eritrean and Oromo troops in Somalia. You also claimed that you would never support Ethiopian invasion of Somalia. You even claimed that certain groups were making presence of Ethiopian troops up.After that you changed your story to a "hundreds" or so Ethiopian trainers". After saying they will go in a a week, know you have backtracked and said they will stay " as long as the job is done". So before you accuse the Sheikh you need to check your own game.

Originally posted by The Duke: Saxib you had no country before this TFG came along and restored the state. You had nothing but clan warlords, clan militias, fake clan courts, occupiers, land looters and criminal business groups holding the people of Mogadishu hostage. These groups were given enough time to change their ways, and yes any method should have been used including Ethiopia to defeat them and give an advantage to the legitimate government. Its silly to hide behind 1. Fake nationalisam and 2. Even faker religious motivations. Saxib where were you when the USC faction ethnicly cleansed a number of clans from Mogadishu, more than a million souls lost for what crimes? How many demo's did you partake in or have you ever acknowledged this fact, this genocide? These people were not even given a safe passage they were chased every mile, every inch of their lives. Their girls raped, their old women raped, their elders shot in mass their children murdered. What crimes did they commit . These people died in mass from thirst, from desease, from the turbulent seas. Was there any outcry? Did the UN come to their rescue? Where were you when the unarmed clans were bullied into submission, when their homes, lands and women became halaal for those thirsty maurauding Somali's . For 16 years these people were kept under bondage, under control with no rights to speak. Saxib, where were you when the land was turned into desert, when from Afgoye to Kismayu the treets were cut, and burned into that awful charcoal? Where was your country, your sense of nationalisam then, your pride? When our beautiful precious land was turned upside down, when they used earth scorched tactics on it to get some silly dollars. Those charcoal mountaisn in Dubai. Again I kindly ask why you went missing when Mogadishu the capital was fought over for 16 years, how many demo's did you hold, organise and participate in when the children were turned into Zombi warriors on behalf of the clan? Saxib, did your eyes and your senses let you down when you did not see our national institutions sold as scraps? as for the father who lost his son, kindly dont ask me for the answer go to Xasan Dahir and Ahmed Diriye those clowns who sent the youths to their deaths. NOW TRYING TO CUT A DEAL. President Yusuf is a hero, saxib, the TFG are hero's saxib and the Somali people will remmeber them as the only entity to deal with those viruses who destroyed our nation. Duke Good speech. But let ask you where was you when the same was happening to Somali Galbeed? Which was been commited the same Tigray troops you call allies!
