I'm travelling to Addis tomorrow IA You sound like a dogy man he he
  2. Indeed they do speak alot of sense. But as I have always said Somalia unlikely to have peace due to the gross ideological differences between the opposing camps. I mean it's all good and well to have a reconcialition meeting in Muqdisho, but who are real players in that city and in the wider sense? You bring me Adan Cashi Ceyrow, Dahir Aweys, Meles Zenawi, Yusuf and Jenday Frazer to a quiet room to negotiate then you there will a chance(slight). One side sees the other as terrorists and lunatics whom can nevr be negotiated with. Even the the T.F.G wanted to negotiate with the Alshabab militia, the Americans would never let them do so. The other side(Alshabab) has vowed to crush all the "infidels" and "apostates" and until the "black flag" hangs over Somalia, they even see some of the groups in Asmara as outright infidels. Hardly any room for negotiation and compromise from both sides?
  3. Good piece and reccomendations by Hashi Abdirashid K Hashi. Could this be Baashi..Haashi?
  4. So why don't u tell us what should make somali's proud? Tall,Skinny and Handesome?
  5. Gang Nasiib He is just Gang that dials for Adiss Ababa troops everytime he gets in a little bother. Maybe if he achieved those things without calling for Ethiopians perhaps he would be judged differently. 5 wadaad oo kitaabo iyo ak47 sita buu Ethiopian uu wacday!

  7. Originally posted by Emperor: Baashi, very clean humourous and informative there, it is always good to read your's report and style of delivering, but it would better for one to read yours take and position on the Somali politiking. Rumours say that neutrality is what Bashi takes pride in, is that so? This rumour was running around for sometime now, is it true? any change? I leave you to it... He is trying to bring your talents to join the Abdullahi Yusuf brigade(fanclub)!
  8. Originally posted by Emperor: ^What have you got against the SOOL clean up, the secessionist will get the heat, whats wrong with that? Fatah worry not the Darawish forces are here to stay romming from same spot they roamed many years ago, the energy is there and their sons are here and ready to finish the legacy of the fathers. Sayid Muhamad Abdullah Hassa would probably declare them as infidels and put a sword to their neck, for helping and fighting alongside his foes( the absynians and their cohorts.
  9. Dagaal starts every day according to some. Ayaandhow waxaad maqli doonta waxa la isku diley daxaya inta dhayaxgacmeed la fulay.
  10. There is no such thing as Darawish today. These are the disgraceful false Darawish. They are not worthy of this name.

  12. We have had this topic to be Somalia. Being proud means nothing because you have no choice what ethnicity you are born us. You could have be born as Gypsy, a Dalit of India or any other policital and social outcastes of the world. Would you then ask are you proud to be a Dalit, Gypsy? Perhaps the question should be are you proud of what Somalis have achieved or proud of where Somalis are, because being Somali is something you have no choice over.
  13. quote:Mr. Rayaale has praised the initiative and committed to deploy ten thousand Somaliland troops in Mogadishu to work with Ethiopian military forces to help quell the growing insurgency in the Somali capital lollllllll
  14. Originally posted by Naxar Nugaaleed: most of these journalist deserve to be shot for the poor quality of reporting they do. if there were real reporters, i would fear for them or even advocate for them but propagandism should not be called journalism and those practice it are as bad as they war lords we like to pretend we hate. In that case we have to start shooting SOL members for their propoganda and poor cut and pasting jobs?
  15. Plan a comeback? Or perhaps chill in his villa. My advice to him would be to come back to his home town and explore the streets and scenery. Who knows the locals might even take to him!
  16. Well we know him very well now, thank you Sophia!
  17. Originally posted by General Duke: The Duke will compile the quotes from various "experts and pudits of SOL regarding the issue of Geedi's removal. A certain SOL pundit said the following: Originally posted by Geel_Jire12: [QB] My camels are on the old colonel to outsmart the youngun. But will he and his supporters go down without a fight? [/quote
  18. I wonder those who are hating on Geedi would have done the same thing if Abdullahi Yusuf was accused of the same thing? Perhaps it is more about who he opposed rather than what he did?
  19. Its probably a case of low Morale and not knowing what the hell they are doing in Muqdisho. They have tried everything including arresting half of Muqdisho and even raising the city to the ground. So hada, what else can they do? Rememer this is not even America, waa cidaan qaarbadan meesha naf u geysey!
  20. The point, It wouldn't make practical sense for Arab states to be sypathetic to Asmara groups cause. Perhaps this would have been the case during the case during the cold war and pan arabism era. But today is a completely different game. The Arabs would prefer a Somalia run by the T.F.G and Ethiopia as opposed to one run by Islamists and their allies. The first reason is probably have no choice anyway(wa nimaan la haysto). The second is that they(secular and monarchy)are strongly to the Salafist groups who seeks to overthrow their own regimes. They wouldn't want an example in Somalia whereby their own nationals and business man used it as another base like Afghanistan. Egypt has locked up the Muslim brotherhood and vermently opposed to Hamas takeover of Gaza. The Arab states also backed Israel and denounced Hezbollah in the Lebanon and have continued to fund the government of Abbas. Simply because they don't want a confrontation with West and more importantly they dont want these states to become an example to their states.
  21. The Ethios or the T.F.G troops are probably try come back to that place. So it makes no sense to leave their weapons and other stuff inside. So when they come back to come to an empty. You are right bililiqo is everywhere. When Iraqi historical museums were looted, the American and British officials claimedf that there was nothing wrong this as it was a part of freedom. Donald Rumsfeld even said: quote:It's untidy, and freedom's untidy," he said, jabbing his hand in the air. "Free people are free to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things. They're also free to live their lives and do wonderful things." And Geoff Hoon said:"I regard such behaviour perhaps as good practice, but that is not to say we should not guard against more widespread civil disturbances."
  22. Soomaali iyo bililiqo Its called the booty of war!
  23. An enquiry into the holocaust or disputing the figures of how many died will not do anything or change the situation of the Palestinians. The bani Israel stole the land and they have told the Arabs and Muslims how to get their Masjid and land back. quote:“If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?” David Ben Gurion!
