  1. Those kids in the first pic never went to Badioa and nor did those women, so I fail to see your point. But the young men in the middle probably did, but they are men and men fight and are slayed. But when they were slayed( and martyred inshallah) didn't you and your cyber comrades celebrate by declaring that thousands of " terrorists" had been killed? Did you ever say " Allah ha u naxaristo, the clan courts"? Or perhaps we might have heard a word of condolence for the Somalis that were raped by Ethiopian troops and still continue to do so?No, No, this is a not a big deal because, wait for it, " rape and clan cleansing is nothing new". Perhaps we might have heard a word from your mortal( acdubillah) leader Abdullah Yusuf when hundreds of innoncent Somalis were killed in American airstrikes? No, in fact your mortal and your commander in chief declared he only he heard on radio and that they had the right to bombabrd them? Perhaps we might get some condolences for the innoncents that that Mr Frimbi rounded up and sold for rendition? Ooops, I forgot they don't get tacsi, it's only mortal warlords are ill or die!
  2. Welcome to peace and democracy! The nation is back on its feet!
  3. All parties involved in the conflict are involved in sexual violence, although aid workers on the ground said rapes were mainly committed by government militias and their Ethiopian allies . The Legacy of the Mortal Continues! The Legacy of the Mortal Continues!
  4. Originally posted by General Duke: The defeated groups are celebrating death, thats the difference between them and us. May Allah give mercy to the man who died, to abti Farimbi and his imdediate family my condolence. Alla Ha UNaxariisto Are you sure about that son? Because we have some of your comrade ie the Abdullahi Yusuf Cult- bragging that killing the I.C.U fighters was like slaughtering pigs and one even declared that it was " fun" when the Ethiopians were killing the I.C.U fighters. It is notable that you and your comrades were awfully silent during that massacre of Somalis during the American bombings. But of course you guys are known for your silence and tacit approval when it comes certain issues! In fact on certain lad claimed that clan cleansing and genocide was nothing new! But, I can't be bothered to dig all those posts up. As for this guy, I pray that Allah guides the rest of the sorry souls that declared war on their religion like this fellow and if they are not guided; I pray that Allah shakes the earth on their foundations and humilate them in the Dunya and the Akhira! Emperor, did you make dua and say "Allah ha u naxaristo" on all the thousands of " terrorists" that were killed in Somalia? Did say " Allah ha naxaristo" to all the fallen I.C.U soldiers? Or did you boast about their killing and wished thousands of them could be slayed?
  5. The fact that you deduced this man to a meer mauruading bandit displays your own prejudices and biased reading of history. Yes,the man made plenty of mistakes and at times he seemed like a complete madman. But he certainly wasn't meerely a maurauding bandit nor was his ideology anything like that of the last dictator. The British offered him and his followers 4 thousand pound each and the man rejected that. 4000 pound was alot of money in those days mind you. And today you have Somali leaders running at the click of their fingers to Adiss Ababa and others semi worshipping a line created by the colonialists which massacred thousands of Somalis. Sayid Muhamad Abdullah Hassan was more respected and given more attention by the powers of his day that happen control our so called leaders today. These so called leaders chase after them for recognition, government and protection. At least Sayid Muhamad Abdullah Hassan never asked niman gaal ah to create a government for him, recognize him or protect him for his enemies.
  6. So if the O.N.L.F changed their name tommorow would they send their clan militias and their youth to join the resistance? No! They will claim the the O.N.L.F is a clan organisation which abusing a pan-Somali name! There already exists another organization by the name of Jabhada Xoreynta Somali Galbeed, why aren't they supporting that? em, em, because they are considered as terrorists and one should be as friendly as possible with the Ethiopian Army, which is rebuilding the Ocaden region and the Somali region. So that peace, freedom and democracy may reign! Isn't that right, Caamir?
  7. Who should I believe you are Meles Zenawi? Only the man has been changing stories for the past year or so!
  8. So those Ethiopian that were recently sent to Somalia, they are heading home or heading to Muqdisho?
  9. Didn't the U.N say that no neighbouring troops could send troops to Somalia? And if there is no difference between Ethiopia and Uganda, why are the Ethiopians saying they want to leave to be placed by "peacekeepers". Surely this means Ethiopians aren't part of "peacekeepers"?
  10. quote:It is done that way to avoid any tension and not to isolate the foreign peace keeping forces... you mean the Ugandans?
  11. quote:dadka ka ridoobay Somaliland ee aaminsan mabda’a Soomaali weyn

  13. quote:ADDIS ABABA (Xinhua) - Visiting Somali Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein said here Wednesday that the security situation in Somalia has been improving owing to the assistance the Ethiopian people and government are providing. Despite few problems being witnessed at present, the internal conflict that surfaced in Somali for about 16 years has now come to an end, he said, and added that the security situation in the country, particularly in the country's capital Mogadishu, is improving. Hussein, who came here Wednesday to brief the situation in Somalia to U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, met with his Ethiopian counterpart Meles Zenawi to boost bilateral ties.
  14. I would find Baroness Xalimo and Lord Farax funny!
  15. Ethiopia is crying that it wants to leave Somalia and that more peackeepers are needed in Somalia. But at the same they have and are sending more of their troops to fight in Somalia. So any current negotiations at this present moment will be based on the fact that Ethiopia is still currently occupying Somalia. Secondly, any negotiations or ceasefire will be used by the Ethiopians to regroup and change their strategy. The I.C.U already met these folk(t.f.g) at Sudan and they dishonestly came to the table pretending they wanted to negotiate, whilst Ethiopians were preparing for a war at their backyard. Of course it wouldn't look bad for the cameras if the Shariff were to meet this so called new P.M. But that is all it would be, ie a shot for the cameras. Sitting at a table with this man, how ever much desired, is not going to solve any of the aforementioned problems in Somalia. It would be nice though, if they could meet this gentleman and pretend that there were no Ethiopians troops in Somalia. It would be nice again, if they met this man and pretended that this was a conflict between Somali Clans, which could be solved by gathering a few elders and whatnot. But the fact of the matter is the resistance existed and exists because there is a war between Warlords/Ethiopians and Somali groups. These warlords and African Dictators aren't going to sit at a table and make some rosy imagined peace with you. They don't care how many thousands of Somalis are dying in Somalia, so long as they have the power(to conquer, loot and plunder). They live by the gun, they die by the gun! We could also pretend that this Gentleman has the keys to tell al the warlords to stop what they are doing. Or we could pretend that this gentleman will tell the Ethiopians to stop the occupation and take a vacation back to Adiss Ababa. Of course some would argue that it is "nonsensical" to make the call for a withdrawl as the prime focus of any talks. However, if this gentleman believes that Ethiopians have a right to be in Somalia and "hunt down terrorsits", which he most probably does, then what is their to negotiate him with( in a real sense)? Are they going beg him to tell Ethiopians to leave? Thus, we can throw around words like " negotiate, peacetalks and a way out". But negotiate for what, were, when and how? If this gentleman were to land in Asmara: What would be the first negotiatin point? Anyone? Nur Cade: What are your demands my friends? Asmara group: We want Ethiopians troops out of Somalia! Nur Cade: Well, emm, I am afraid they are not leaving until peacekeepers come and em em, they are here to help the Somali goverment! Shariff: Well we can't accept that! We will have to continue the resistance! Nur Cade: Ok, fine discussion closed!

  17. Hajj Luxury for Ukrainian Muslims KIEV — Ukrainian Igor Korpishen has been saving up for the past eight years to make his hajj dream come true as the holy journey looked something of a luxury in the central European country where Muslims stand as the poorest minority with towering unemployment rates and deplorable economic conditions. "I'm so happy," Korpishen, who reverted to Islam in 1998, told IslamOnline.net Sunday, December 3. Overwhelmed by joy, the 31-year-old Muslim youth has taken pains and worked late into nights to save every hryvnia needed for the relatively expensive journey. "I pray that every Muslim would perform hajj in his/her lifetime," Korpishen said in an emotional voice. Almost at every Muslim home in Ukraine, there is a Korpishen. Many Muslims are yearning to perform hajj, but they are in such dire financial straits to make the dream come true. Some of them pass away and the dream is still unfulfilled. The hajj journey in Ukraine costs an average of $2,500, a mind-boggling sum for many Ukrainian Muslims living below the poverty line. One of the five pillars of Islam, hajj consists of several ceremonies, which are meant to symbolize the essential concepts of the Islamic faith, and to commemorate the trials of Prophet Abraham and his family. Every able-bodied adult Muslim — who can financially afford the trip — must perform hajj once in their lifetime. Individual Effort Neither the government nor NGOs provide charge-free hajj packages to Muslims, according Wael Al-Alami, the spokesman for the umbrella Federation of the Islamic Organizations in Ukraine (ARRAID). "The pilgrims here perform hajj at their own expenses," Al-Alami told IOL. "We have tried in vain to get charge-free hajj packages for poor Muslims and new reverts." The organization of hajj trips is an individual effort undertaken by some Muslim organizations like ARRAID in coordination with a travel agency in the capital Kiev and the Saudi embassy in Moscow, because there is no a Saudi diplomatic mission in Ukraine. Some 250 Ukrainian Muslims would perform hajj this year on three batches, according to Al-Alami. The first batch is scheduled to fly for Saudi Arabia on December 8. Ukraine is home to some two million Muslims making up 5% of the overall 46-million population
  18. But I didn't expect any less or more from the Ethiopians. They (Tigrays) are only lookin after their interests, marka it is not highly suprising. They have blocked attempts to create a Somali government since their Emperor declared Somalis were nomads incapable of building a government or nation. Thus it is the Somalis that have to reform, reconcile their hearts and put their religon and/or state before their clan and political interests. I am afraid we are a long way from that! Somaliland has put her national interests over any moral obligations towards other Somalis plenty of times before. I.C.U, Puntland and O.N.LF are seen as more of a threat to Somaliland than Ethiopia is. In fact, Somaliland wouldn't need anti Ethiopian sentiment on her doorsteps, which could fuel feelings of Islamism and Pan Somaliasm among it's residents.Ethiopia, to them, is probably a stabilizer against these millitant forces, who appear ot hate Somaliland more-so than Ethiopia. They are mostly interested in the peace they gained and preserving their security! Is this a suprise? Again,no! Politics is a dirty and some times you have to play dirty. The late Somali leader didn't mind sending white mecenaries to bomg his inhabitants in 80s nor did the rebel movements mind making allies with Somalia's arch enemy. He, the ardent Pan Somaliast and nationalist, didn't mind effectively surrendering all ties to the occupied Somali region. The same man that sent these people to die for this region and Somaliweyn, would years later bomb one region and sign the rest off to the Ethiopians. If morality is the root of politics, then I wonder if those Sheikhs in Asmara asked Afreweki how the Muslims of Eritrea are doing? Or when was the last time the Arab Muslims( including Hamas) asked Russia how those Chechnyan Muslims are doing? Yes they might well be "Dhabodhilifs, traitors and stooges", but the remedy is to examine the root causes and why people took such political decisions! Good day!
  19. Warlords have their supporters and clan bases. You remove the need for Somali clans to seek alliances with Adiss Ababa against other rival clans and political entities; and then the Habashis will be kicked out in a few days. Habashis can wonder in Kismaayo, Badioa and many towns across the Ocaden region without coming under sheet. Habashi can recharge in Berbera and dine with elites in Galkcayo without any real objection. Somali Clan elders will travel t Adiss Ababa and then when they return their clan people will host a welcoming party for them. It is not because Habashis are the masters of Somalis, but rather they are both using each other to reach political objectives. That is the truth( as i see it).
  20. Sayid Muhamad Abdullah fought the British for 22 years and his movement largely failed because other Somali groups and clans opposed his regime. In the North, South and other places Somali clan leaders organized tribal militias to fight against his forces with the help of the Italians and sometimes British. You will see this with the O.N.L.F and I.C.U also, ie the instigators will come and claim that movement is from " reer hebel".Sayid Muhamd was knows the Sheikhi reer x, I.C.U samd and also O.N.L.F kadalik! The best counter insurgency is to arm local clan against the leaders or any liberation groups. The Americans did this in Iraq and now they are speaking of arming local Afghan tribes against the Taliban. In the case of Somalia it is rather easier given the years of mistrust and civil war. The Ethiopians are resorting to arming Somali tribal militias against the ONLF. OF course it is far superior to these clan militias in terms of combat, however, this raises very severe complications for their cause. Firstly, the Ethiopians can take a back seat and watch as Somalis kill each other. Secondly, Somali clans are hard to control. Once you kill 5 tribesmen, you make lifelong enemies and it increases hatred in that region. No Jihad was ever succesful in history without unifying the peoples you seek to liberate.
  21. quote:that we are facing today in Somalia are mostly the result of the colonial partition of the country The problem we are facing is because of tribalism, which is deeply embedded in Somali culture. Other nations/states just take advantage of this!
