  6. They locked away ma boy freedom I heard freedom scream Like a new born seed Waiting for its mother ease I saw freedom plead and violently breathe Like an executioner had summoned thee to the Guillotine I saw freedom freeze Maybe this is how it was all meant to be Thought it was all a dream Till I saw them throw away the keys I must concede That at this precise moment, I thought freedom had committed some evil deeds Perhaps, from the past, there were some demons Hidden in the clouds of dark evenings The Judge said freedom was a devil Outcast, outlaw, leader of the rebels brigade Death was his only medal in this race But anyway, this chase had to end Freedom had to surrender to these metal gates This is the fate freedom had to face Freedom had to disappear without a trace So goodbye my dear my friend Maybe, one day we’ll meet again But till then Freedoms in the desert with many dates to consume freedom can't move Freedom gotta see many moons Freedom gotta pray like Jonah in the whale’s womb Seems like freedom is doomed Maybe one day we resume Like Joseph and his father in the room Maybe one day freedom will be free But first freedom gotta find some proof For now though, freedom has to loose Cus there is no Pharaoh without the Jews This is the path that freedom had to choose Seems like freedom didn’t conform to the rules So freedom was ripped apart to into pieces So my boy freedom: rest in pieces! Cus I know you can’t truly rest in peace till we meet again, free

  8. It wouldn't matter how boring he is, if he manages to win England's first major trophy since the Battle of Hastings, 1066! He's already broken many records, including being the first England manager that speaks with a broken English accent! In his own words, " my english not so well". I think he need to see a doctor!Matter of fact the English players don't speak to well themselves. Have you ever listened to a footballer being interviewed after the match? Beckah: the lads ad a good game t'day, you know, we performed very well. Em, Em, you know, it was a good acaysion, you know, you know, we passed the ball roun well, you know, it was, you know, you know what I mean! Or you have liverpudlians who speak like they are in Baghdad Gerrard: " he didn't deserve a "buckhing"!

  10. Originally posted by NGONGE: I wanted to write a book about a baby turtle that fell in a ditch. I have a general idea of how it fell in the ditch, the efforts of the various animals to help it out of the ditch and the many stories they all wisely told him. I can already picture its mother looking for it but, being a turtle, it is taking her longer than usual to find its baby. At first, this was a short bedtime story but the more times I told it the more varied and complicated it became. The baby turtle has developed a personality now. He's got plenty of time to sit in that ditch and reflect on life. He looks up and sees mother zebras walking past with their daughter zebras. Mother monkeys with baby monkeys. Lionesses with their cubs and Wildebeests with their fawns! He yearns for his mother and family of turtles. He wonders if he's destined to spend the rest of his life in that ditch. He wants to break free. Meanwhile, his mother crawls along asking other animals if they have seen her baby. She describes him as small, round and looking like a stone! There is a happy ending somewhere and a moral to this story about how even a baby turtle, with his indefatigability, determination and strength of will can raise himself from a dark ditch. I may bung in something about the community (of animals) helping out and how it sometimes takes a whole village (of animals) to raise a turtle. The book is likely going to fit into one page but I'm hoping people will be distracted by the many illustrations and pictures to notice how short it is. Pardon? What was that again? You really think writing a book is child's play? Don't you go falling into such a ditch of a mistake, my friend. I once had a gentleman who wrote traditional Somali animal stories in english stay over my house and I believe some Westerners brought them, but I might be mistaken. Anway this particular gentleman would sit at the computer and pull out his majin qaad and then the gates of inspiration would open wide for him.....But am not encouraging ne1 to use this as an inspiration

For us, internships offer a great way to introduce some of the brightest and best new talent to our organisation and to show them some of the possibilities for a great future with us. HSBC Amanah offers a 10-week summer internship to penultimate-year students. This gives you the chance to experience the realities of a truly global bank first-hand. So join us for the summer and you will gain vital experience and test yourself in a world-class workplace. During the structured programme, you will complete a comprehensive induction programme, be fully integrated into a core business area and make a valuable contribution to our business. There will also be a busy calendar of business briefings, workshops and social events. 13. For any of those interested HSBC(London) is doing a summer internship in the Islamic Amanah section and yes Islamic financing is fashionable nowadays, so get your books, courses and plan to get in on it. That is, if your a budding faraxconomist or xalimconomist. Plus it gives it gives you the chance improve your profit and loss balance sheet for the Akhira. Of course there are some issues concerning how Islamic this really is, but the Shariah says take the lesser of the two evils, as a Muslim explained to me the other day. Little Islamic is better than no Islamic @ all.

Diradhabo oo micnaheedana ah meeshii la isku dhameeye -- dirir [fight] iyo dhabe [a place of...], example Baydhabo [a place of Baay tree]. Names mean nothing. Because the identities of cities and change and with time new cultures and peoples shape their destinies. Adiss Ababa was founded by Oromos/Muslims and it was originally called Adiss Ababa. That means nothing because today it a mulitcultural city with people from. The Oromo can never reclaim or claim that city in menaingful political fashion. This probably the case with Harar and to a lesser extent Harar. Of course I am not saying SOmalis somewhere down the line can't shape the indetities of those towns. In fact alot of history suggests that SOmalis Muslims were very influential in carrying the Islamic culture across the Horn. However, some racist historians and ignorant SOmalis contributed to Semetic Arabs and whatnots. They even claimed that Zeylac was founded and owned by semetic Arab people, when Ibn Batuta researched the Somali people and found that the Berberis live " from Zeylac to Muqdihshaw". This is also the case with Muqdishaw, which some peope still think was found by persians or some nonsense like that. Lakin, leave Harar and Dhire Dhaba alone we have to worry about Bayhdhabo and Muqdisho today. As one Somali Sheikh said after the invasion " Somalis used to fight Habesha expansion all the way near Harar and even in Tigray region", " maanta waxa la maraya baadi Muqdisho, xageyenu u socono inagu? J11, I have seen that video before, pretty interesting man.......
  15. lads, lads, And i though we had here a new generation of learned faraxz-turned football bundits.... The previous managers are Real Madrid must have been uselesss if they never won a league title for four years and Capello came and won it @ the first time of asking? The reason he lost Job at Real is for two reasons; firstly, they fell out because he sold Beckham who was creating alot of revenue for the club, and secondly, he is an old guy who did what he came to do and he didn't have any particular long term ambitions. So they thanked him for his services and appointed a younger manager with more long term ambitions. WHy is he the the man for England? Because Real Madrid as you remember hadn't won anything for 4 years and team was a joke run by Galacticos. So he put the superstars in their place, eg. selling Beckham and Ronaldo. This is what England need. Previous managers have been scared to drop players like Lampard and co. He'll come in and make every 1 play for their place and they'll know who the boss is. Plus he'll be gone in two years and then perhaps Curbishley would have gained more experience and some other managers like Scolari and Onneil might be available! He might even drop Owen and play around Ashton...with Rooney...and a pick from lennon/SWP/Young/Bentley/Walcott and the young striker( agbonlah) at Aston Villa playing around them. He'll probably drop Lampard and play with to defensive midfielderd as he normally does probabbily Hargreaves and Carrick/Barry/Parker? and then give Gerrad to space to forget about defending and become the playmaker and runner of the team...that means frankie on the bench Geel Jire Sheikhspeare with Goatee ps.I have never written this much about football/kuba/banoono nooh/ wat eva u call it
