I realized about 7 months ago that if i didnt start working i'de drown in a sea of debt, and like my mom told, "waad waalan doontaa"...!! It was funny how i had no bills to pay but my cell phone bill and i was in a $7000 debt...i dont even pay my car insurance...!! My part time job actually paid nothing for me...!! So i applied for this fulltime position at work, i got it, and it was tough to handle full time school and full time work...but it actually benefited me in two ways, i was busy which left not much time for leisure and spending un-necessary money, and being busy actually leads u to getting good grades in school...!! I paid off $6000 by the first two months...!! With the help of hagbad (ayuuto)...and a small school loan that i'm not worried about...!! The relief and goodnite sleeps u get are unimaginable walaahi...!! Truth is, we spend more than we have because our needs and wants r larger than how much income we make...!! So the first step we can take before reducing our debt might be seeking ways to increase our income...!! It might by getting another job or working more hours...!! Eliminating unnecessary bills, like cable, high speed internet, starbux coffee and eating out for luch....!!! All of those cuts are of course temporary, untill you get control over ur budgetting...!!! I had 2 high school experiences...which made the second one hell...!! I was in london ontario for my 9th to 11th grade...!! I was in ESL, damn i loved those days....everyone was friendly, too many jokes and trouble, the whole school was multi cultural.....i was the popular girl who knew everyone, and hang out with every group...!! Then i came to Ohio, to a school full of whites and some blacks....all of a sudden i found myself a complete stranger, a complete ***** who was asked everyday what kinda piece of $hit i was putting on my head...!! I started taking it off when i went to school, then they started calling me the black girl with white ppl's hair...!! Basically i was in grade 10 all over again...!! I couldnt imagine being there for 3 years...i soooo wanted to drop out....but couldnt...i adapted to it, i minded my own business.....some were nice to me, some were rude, and some were surprised when they saw me speaking English...!! For 3 years i only made 2 friends, and we still keep intouch...!! I did not even go to my graduation...but i went to pick up my diploma the next day...!! I was glad they called my name THREE times at the ceremony, so i thought 'yess, those ****** know i graduated'..lol..!! Anywayz.....college is offfff da hook though...i luv it....call me racist or what eva...but walaahi i cant stand being surrounded by cadaan and madoow...!!! Salaamz

Let's put it this way, i wouldnt go to school for something i like to do but wouldnt guarentee me a job, and i wouldnt go to school for something that guarentees me a job but i dont enjoy...!!! I dont think school makes me a more knowledgable person...!! If you guys look at it, we required to take a calculas class, for god's sake, are we asked on job interviews to take the derivative of a function...hell no...!!! Well then, why do we study it..? I think school is just to challenge us, help us think better, give us basic knowledge about the job market we're pursuing, and the actual knowledge comes with experience...!! Why do we go through job training when we get a job....dont we have a degree...?
