  9. Chimera i agree it is quite sad, you dont expect your own inuu ku liido. Abu equality is indeed a mine field but why should i seek to be equal? ilaahba nagama dhigin equal, but when it comes to aduun-matters i refuse to accept that women are not capable of doing great jobs. oh well, i shont hijack the topic
  10. Blessed, the sad thing is we face never ending fight, to get education, to get a job etc in qurbo and then we face bigots for when we return. I am not looking for equality as i think somali women are actually more capable but hey ho phewwww xanaaq baan uga soo tagey meesha
  11. ladies i fear there is wide spread hatred towards women in this forum. It appears we are nothing but play mates incapable of thinking for ourselves other than airing our husband's views i know, i know i should not have gone to politics. it is sad that ragii la lahaa they will bring about change actually think so low of their somali sisters. Equalityeey xaal qaado

  14. ^^ you really think less of us women and our capability to think dont you? you think ineynu nahay mouth-piece of raga naqaba or aan isqabno, latter being the correct term.
  15. Malika i meant in terms of prestige and quality of education. Ibti of course is tough and determined. it is amazing to imagine living back home one day, it is becoming almost tenable dream
  16. Malika, i would imagine you running a boarding school, somali version of Eton Ngonge even you have to admit, Ibti, CL and Alpha lasted longer than you expected.

  20. A woman would do a wonderful job as PM. She will be organised and hard working as she has more to prove then oday soo qamaamey. it would be wonderful to have women in high ranking posts, unfortunately i do not think our country is ready for that:(

  22. I think she did the right thing, shooting him that is, but once uu dhulka dhacay she should have stopped. If she was in the west she would have a fab defence and walk free. A rapist deserves to die
