The business sector, the Media sector including newspapers, and Kulmiye leaders are all united in one agenda: to suppress and dominate others. These groups have already put us on the road to dictatorship. It is real because the signs are already there. Dahabshiil is the leader of all the troubles in that part of Somalia. It runs the business machine, the news media, and newspapers. Dahabshiil supports the criminals from SNM and finances the fighting and conspiracies of all kinds. Dahabshiil controls the new government, the army, and other security agencies. Dhabshiil runs the show in the Senate and parliament. The political propaganda machine and the news media are financed by Dahabshiil. Siilaanyo and his comrades are hostages to Dahabshiil. Dahabshiil is the undercover cap in Hargeysa and manipulates the occurrence of every event. It is behind every political conspiracy that takes place. People are wondering and asking themselves about who creates the mess. They put the blame on certain individuals including Siilaanyo, Gaboose, Muse Biixi, and others. But they do not ask themselves who created those monsters. In order Dahabshiil to secure its business, it has to maintain some power in the making of events in Hargeysa. Its business wouldn’t have grown and will never grow under the present political turmoil and tribal distrust in that part of Somalia unless it has the power to control its puppets. People are looking somewhere else to find out the causes of hunger, tribal competition, the monopoly of business, the banking system, the suppression of other people’s concerns. The media in Hargeysa is controlled by Dahabshiil and can only publish the opinions favouring the interest of Dahabshiil and its puppets in the government and political houses. When writings of concerns from clans other than ***** are sent to most of the websites and newspapers run by people from ***** Clans, they are dumped into the recycle bin and laughed at. Today there are many disgruntled clans in that part of Somalia, particularly **********, ***********, Warsangali, and some pockets from *****. The intellectuals of those clans are active protesting the power grab of the old dogs which haven’t yet learned any new tricks and the interest these old dogs have in Dahabshiil. However, their opinions and criticisms are not allowed to appear in the private media in Hargeysa. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Dahabshiil has the monopoly in everything. Dahabshiil has unleashed these old dogs and they are doing everything which pleases Dahabshiil. The newspapers in Hargeysa are the mouth piece of Dahabshiil and in turn favour the Old dogs’ policy. In order to please USA and to keep money transfers open, Dahabshiil is creating an image of fighting terror in Somaliland and creating a scenario and a fertile ground for terrorism so that its money machine is not closed. Now the old dogs in the government are implementing that scenario as has happened in Awdal and Salal and recently in Berbera. Conspiracy after conspiracy is the common denominator for the actions of Dahabshiil and its guards. They are selling the story that some people from Awdal and Salal are responsible for the terror group which came by the sea through those regions. The people have not understood the conspiracy behind those activities and many others to come. Dhahabshiil’s hard currency has successfully worked this time. But who is the judge? The dark side of human being is defeated by the luminous sense of humanity. People crept towards humanity. The diminishing granite evil part of people can be seen by considering the evaluation of gladiators into boxers. The people of early empires had a greater propensity to enjoy and commit cruel actions. They could watch men knifing and killing with one another. To their greater degree of brutality, they could find entertaining a lion that torn and broke the fleshes and the bones of someone regarded as a gladiator. Most of the people in that era were brutal enough. They were very exiting to see the bleeding wounds and the scattering marrows of the victims eaten by reckless and huge carnivore animals. Through long struggle, people succeeded to diminish that complicated immorality and notoriety which accumulated in the minds of our ancestors. Each brutal habit and need of humans was reduced up to that degree. The numbers of human cruelties were decimated. We reduced the innate tendency to brutalities. You can see how we changed our entertaining habits. You see how we modified the harsh gladiators into boxers. The sense of wickedness had been weakened and dominated by the sense of goodness and rationality. Cruel tyrants were replaced by honest and egalitarian leaders. These dutiful leaders are still fighting against injustice, suspicion, and imaginary incompatibility among tribes, races, and ethnic groups. However, Irritable and adamant political autonomies did not vacate world political stage totally. And last century they appeared violently in Germany, Serbia, and Rwanda. Now, with Silanyo’s presence, it is waiting to erupt in Somaliland. Because once Somaliland found Dahir Rayale; admirable leader with deep believe of egalitarianism. Due to the fabrications and false pictures orchestrated by evil campaigners and leaders, Somaliland people wasted this seldom chance which deserved to be made use of it. These bad leaders dug the ugly civil war incidence and rejuvenated the cancerous prejudices among tribes. Confused people of Somaliland made a suicidal voting which can be equated as jumping of luxurious sofa into an oven full of fire. Bewildering people of Somaliland had chosen fussy-headed dreamers over genuine leaders who used to care the interest of the mass more then their personal ones. They voted against dependable security and well orchestrated governance. They insisted to act against president who has a radiant honest and deep insight for the nationhood and the mutual interdependence among regional and global states. They voted against farsighted and well-qualified ministers who were obedient for the constitution. The people of Somaliland turned their backs to all these goodness and voted for badly organised government. The government with eye-cataract which could not recognise 230 ONLF militias who travelled a journey same as moue’s long match in china. The people voted the president who said in his first speech that the general bank is completely empty and discouraged the police and military forces. They voted for the president who publicly told that he needed a loan from businessmen which eroded the financial reliability of the government. In turn, the lack of government reliability obliged merchants to sell their commodities with high prices and increased the ever-appeasing inflation of goods and services in the country. They welcomed this limping government that cannot cope with the deteriorating relationships of our neighbouring countries. They employed political autonomy in which every minister believes to be the legal conductor for this ill-equipped orchestra. The independent organs in this governmental orchestra are playing a different music with different tones. Doctor Gabose; the interior minister is playing a hugely amplified dram while Mohamed Hashi is playing a disproportionately high pitched saxophone of his own. Together, they created a music which deafens and causes permanent hearing loss to the audience; a music which sounds like the one that destroyed and terminated prophet Lood’s community. Mr President, you saw the flattened tyres of your government. So, will you ready to take a remedial action soon? If yes, do it right now. Recently, a friend asked me as to why I do no longer sing for Somaliland as I had been a known and staunch supporter of Somaliland, who regularly posts articles on the websites but who has not done so lately. That friend of mine sarcastically said ?you are an unknown soldier; one who is willing to go the distance for nothing, but I guarantee you that Somaliland will fall and with it you will!; just look what happened at Kalabaydh and the ugly slaughter there, mark my words!? And although I did not like his comments, it seems that there was some truth in what he accused me of because I had truly put nothing of substance on Somaliland website lately. So, I gave him no response! And the facts behind my silence was that I had lately had big doubts as to whether Somaliland would survive the social, economic and environmental catastrophes it had been going through for over 19 long and lonely years! True, Somaliland seemed faltering as the world community of governments closed their doors to poor Somaliland and refused to make business with it let alone recognize it and accordingly support it morally or materially. In addition to that Somaliland people refused to stand for nothing other than worshipping tribalism. And all one could hear or read about Somaliland was: ?haddaan nahay, bah weynta reer hebel aqbali mayno; haddaan ahay suldaanka guud ee reer hebel yeelimayno, haddaan ahay boqorka guud ee reer hebel dhagaysanmaayo…. etc.? And certainly, bombardments like these would make anyone give up all hope when sadly even Somaliland intellectuals preferred fomenting over national guidance! But now that Somaliland comes against all odds by peacefully voting for a change; now that newly elected president Silanyo delivers his first HIGH CALIBER acceptance speech (which I CAREFULLY listened), now that president Rayale delivers his GREAT farewell speech and HONORABLY bows out of power, it gives me hope and therefore would like to send the following congratulatory message to the following and in the process give an indirect ridiculing answer to my ALWAYS cynical friend: First, my warm congratulations go to President Rayale for honorably accepting the outcome of the vote and calling the nation to unite behind the new leadership… and of course relinquishing power in Africa is a rarely commodity…. excerpts ?With honor and hard work, against all odds, we did our best to serve Somaliland…. And since the chair belongs to all Somaliland, we are here to accept the outcome and welcome the new leadership to take rein…..; But we hope that Somaliland remains Somaliland, united…. We hope success for Somaliland and we hope Somaliland never looks back but goes the distance…..? Congratulations Mr. President. You proved you are honorable and your integrity is unquestionably great! I hope you do not fumble it! I hope you make many touchdowns by making Somaliland strong, united and caring for all. I hope you bring a SMALL competent cabinet which you constantly coach ensuring the job is done. I hope you loudly and firmly come against those whose tribal interests are supreme and adamantly refuse to abide by Somaliland law. I hope you will never accept Somaliland split into tribal fiefdoms each of which is bent to destroy its neighbor. I hope your administration apprehends criminals many of who are at large and bring them to court of law. And last but not least, Mr. President, I urge you to use the Diaspora plenty of who are highly educated and many of who are willing to save the nation at whatever cost. Please establish an office for them and urge them to contribute toward the national rebuilding and I am one who is willing to do his share. Third: my warm congratulations go to the National Electoral Commission. To them I must say loudly and clearly that Somaliland was lucky to have them. They proved they are honorable, patriotic at least to the best of their ability and with integrity they delivered though that does not mean they are flawless and balancing was not perfect. But thanks for serving the nation. Fourth: My last but not least congratulations go to Somaliland people. And I would like to thank them for taking the courage and the will to vote; vote peacefully, fully determined to reach their goal.
