Gawd! I hate february it seem everything is happening all at once to me right now. I have been awaiting a phone calll all day and I am getting more and more anxious by the hour. I just found out I can't transfer my credits to OCAD... My Seasonal employment just ended and I am waiting for the Ontario Arts Council to get back to me for the application of a grant. oh oh and my video was rejected form the Images festival which made me very sad because... I have been going for the past 3 years and I have seen only 20% good video/film art and 80% crap. and it makes me think my crap isn't even good enough for them so I must produce super crap........... le sigh did I mention I hate february its so feckin gray it maks me want to slit my wrist for some colour, but I don't because insanity is not fashionable in february

I think it was a few years ago this study said that on average women use 6000 words a day and onaverage men use 2000 words a day. I don't think this study included Somali Men or Women. then the averages would be 12,000 words per day for Somali women 10,000 words per day for Somali men

I see a strip club right in the middle of an other wise alright nighborhood. The late nights at work have been the partner of a lot of the prostitues that hang out in front of the place. waterlily it sounds like the office you work in is filled with women with eating disorders. All with the exception of you and tyhe IT girl. Constatly talking about what you ate...eat, will not eat, and calarie consumption is the warning signs of developing serious eating disorders. The scary thing is that these attidtudes of food and dieting is becoming so prevalent. That a lot of people take the calorie counting and food talking as something that is an everyday event. :eek:

Animal farm and Bishita: It is proposal season yay!... I am in the process of submitting to motionflicks, newbandtv, the art for social justice festival, x.space, warc gallery and the OCAD student gallery. I am trying to do way mor shows this summer than last summer. For now I do show my videos and do video performances where I interact with my videos at the Rivoli for an interdisciplianary cabaret. Conspiracy: The point in this topic is exactly the question that I asked which is is there any artists on this website? Most of the studenst are in academics or IT technology on SOL... Hello there nomads and such! I was hoping someone could help refresh my memory. I haven't been to this site in ages....its nice to know somethings don't change.... okay back to what I was gonna say beofre I rudely interruptted myself. I am doing a performance piece about the Civil war and the personal effect it had on Somalis in North America. (If you couldn't guess I am a performance artist) humbly asking for the help of anyone who remembers Somali folk songs besides shiimbiiriyo heesa (sp?) the performance involves me singing folk songs and interrupting myself with reading letters to africa... while wearing traditional diraac iyo gaabasaar and cleaning goats legs that are bloody with the dirac. I need more folk sngs though then just that one that I could remember.... so if anybody remembers any other somali folk songs from their childhood and would like to tell me.... Thus if human beings are animals with the animal behaviour every once in awhile you will find straight humans and gay humans just like animals.... and then theres bisexual, transgendered, transsexual, two spirtied. and questioning. The thing about human sexuality is its beyond oh this is gay and this is straight there are many shades of grey there .... of what if you feel like a man on the inside and you can feel your testosterone levels are high but your a female on the outside or what if its vice versa. Or what if you have more estorgen in your body and you feel more of what's supposed to be feminine but your a man... what if your a female and you have sex with men exclusively that means your straight right? ... but what if you pretend they are women...or what if you have sex with women exclusively that means your a lesbian am I right?...but what if you stay celibate and don't have sex with anyone for 10 years what sexual orientation does that make you over the span of that time? What I'm trying to say is I think human sexuality is infinite. And whoever someone wants to be with is up to them... so let people be... there is only one lifetime anyways and instead of caring what other people do and judging them for it.... live your own lives and worry about what's in your immediate path.
