Hassan Sheikh Applies Diplomatic Pressure on Kismayo Finances
NGONGE replied to Mintid Farayar's topic in Politics
Warya Mintid, sheekada dheer jooji and just say that the president has the option to use this resolution for sinister reasons (should he want to). The end. -
^^ Morning Faheema. Hope all is well with you. I'm glad that you proved that even though Jb is younger than me, my memory is better than his.
-
^^ May everything you need go your way insha allah (except you being first in again). Morning all.

Resolution 2093 allows for a one-year suspension of the embargo when small arms will be allowed. The Security Council pointedly listed surface-to-air missiles, guns, howitzers and cannons and related ammunition and components as items that cannot be sold to Somalia. The government will have to give at least five days notice of deliveries, and purchases will be monitored by U.N. experts. Hmmm.

^^ Surely a victory for both sides of the argument.

underdog, he liked the puke and probably assumed that she's a good cook.

Jacka Resources finds promising structures in Somaliland petroleum block
NGONGE replied to Siciid1986's topic in Politics
^^ Dee I did. An Oil analyst at a world renowned fund strongly advised me to buy shares in Range/Africa Oil because he believes it's a real deal (unlike those stories Somalis post on here about them). His firm does not do short term investments, they always go with the long term view and, of course, they wouldn't go for something like this unless they believed it will eventually work. -
^^ Dee it's all about how they present it, Xaaji. If it's a conference on Somalia with a side thing for the "talks" they may just manage to get away with it. I suspect this is why even the SL opposition are not in outright opposition (as the quote above shows).

^^ As far as I know, that one is not finished dee. Setbacks and problems were always expected but the investors were confident of a find. And, no, those advising me were not profiteers but world leading long term investors in such areas. Wax fahma. -

I'm looking at you Dr neo-con. And Melez. Don't forget Melez who went in almost exactly the same way. But will people cry for Chavez like they did for Melez?
