^^ Lol@ haddaad nin rag tahey. Dagaalka jooji warya. He only pinched you and you're trying to question his manliness? Wax waalan.

Did the Cashier withdraw the money for himself or was he simply doing his job (following orders from above)?
-
I'm sure someone will put it up within seconds of it being broadcast, Norf.

What do you mean by "there is a government"? I thought it was a federal government not a central one. Are we going to have another constitutional fiasco?
-
I'm with Rahima on this. Abbaas hates Al Shabab so much that he's starting to sound like them.

Sisyphean Somalis Every time they elect a leader he turns out to be worse than the one before him. Every time they think they turned a corner, they find themselves walking down yet another dark tunnel. Every time they think they found a solution, they realise it comes with problems of its own. Just like Sisyphus we’re condemned to rolling that boulder up the hill only to see it roll back down again. Still, one must not deal with history or dream of a future. One must always (first) deal with the present. Like the Turks, Egyptians or even Syrians. It is not the people that are cursed but their wretched leaders. As such, the problems of Somalia today must wholly rest at Hassan Sheikh’s feet. I don’t believe Hassan Sheikh is a bad man. I don’t believe he’s clannish (as some claim) and I, honestly, believe that he has the best intentions for Somalia. Alas, I also don’t believe that he’s either equipped or equal to the job he’s been given. It is very seldom that an African president would walk into a comfortable job that has an empty in-tray. It’s nigh on impossible for a Somali president to walk into such a job. Therefore, Hassan Sheikh knew the sort of job he put himself forward for and knew the types of obstacles he would face. None of the problems he’s facing today were a secret prior to his ascendency to the Somali presidency (Jubbaland and its problems was there, PL was there and Al Shabab were also there). How then could a president that arrived with such fanfare and goodwill manage to mess up things to such a sorry extent? He even managed to fumble a straightforward issue like the Hassan Dhahir one! I think A&T called it within a week of Hassan Sheikh being selected but A&T can be hasty sometimes. Surprisingly though, it seems that A&T was right all along. I think it’s time Hassan Sheikh stepped down. It’s time for fresh blood (the dam jaded turned out to be contaminated). It’s time for a fresh solution and fresh problems. It’s time. Happy Birthday, Somalia!

^^ Not sure about celebrating but all must be happy to see the end of these mufsideen fe al ard.

^^ It was a good game. Very one sided. Brazil's holding midfielders had Mata and Xavi in their pockets (and these are not even the best Brazilians at that particular job).

Markay caasha caato fat rolls ka hadasho, what in the world can we complain about?

We redefined marraige? Xiin is stating a fact? I don't think you should be the judge on what is "dramatic" after such a start. As for what the gaalo do, well unless you plan to bring up your kids as gaalo themselves none of these "value systems" will matter. Talk sense, people. Talk sense. Somaliland President Ahmed Siilaanyo appoints a whole new Cabinet
NGONGE replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
^^ Never "equating", saaxib. However, they do have a point in that only someone who is whiter than white could have digs at SL's position re Somalia. In your case, you can't get too excited about Hassan's treatment of Jubbaland on the one hand (and you did cross the line a few times when it came to the SFG) and attack SL's positions on the other. Horta fix Jubbaland, agree with Hassan and then come back to talk about SL safe in the knowledge that nothing you do or say elsewhere undermines Somalnimo. -
^^ Dee you're talking about the survival of humanity when it's a law in a gaal country. If that's not worked up, I don't know what is. Wax fahan. (and yes, waligay wan kugo barbaran jiray. Maanta maxaad o diiday?)

Prominent Alshabab leader surrenders himself to Authorities
NGONGE replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
^^ You're assuming no planes are going to arrive in the dead of night to take him away for some questioning first. -
Not sure why Xiin is getting all worked up there! If this happend in Saudi Arabia or Somalia, I would understand. But in America, GAAL gaal guursaday maaha in oo matag kaa keeno, saaxib. Waaba gaal, he follows different rules.
-
WRONG, Norf. I'm sure it will not come as a surprise to you that I don't like sambuusa. (the Somali ones have too much oil in them).

^^ Hada waan kula sugay maanta. I thought I'd be reer magal and follow the ladies first rule. (still, really, FIRST IN, again).

^^ They have a point too. You bit a tad more than you can chew with this argument, saaxib. Sometimes, it is best to stay out of the way. -
^^ Waa lagaa qaaday. (don't ask me what or who).

^^ I am only a few years older than you, Alpha. There is barely a decade between us, saaxib. Rahima, every day is a slow day at work. Then, suddenly, things start happening (not today though).

I woke up with the sound of a baby saying "dada", Juxa. Timacade maba aqaan wuxu yahay (even though I have some sort of an idea). (waan kuu dhaafay, ciyaal xaafada yidhaahda marka laga badiyo). Hello Rahima & Norf.

First in, AGAIN!

Thanks Juxa (bal hada ila eega, ma qoftan "thank you" igu khasabtay baa faqiir?). Alpha, do Rahima and nuune have some magic geeso that we don't have wraya? Salaantaada iska hayso.
