^^ I got that part. War can't you answer a straight question dee? -
Mogadishu (RBC Radio) Somali’s immigration and nationalities department has warned today foreigners staying in the country illegally. C/laahi Gaafow Max’uud the head of immigration and nationalities department proclaimed today that the foreigners staying in the country will be held accountable for their “illegal actions”. General Gaafow claimed that foreigners arriving in the country illegally have risen dramatically over the past two years. He also pointed out that there are large number of people who some of them are working with AMISOM while others are working for private companies. Gen Gaafow warned foreigners in the country without valid visas or stay permits giving an ultimatum of 12 days to register at the Immigration department of Somali government failing this he said will lead to their apprehension. “Anyone foreigner staying in the country should seek for a permit from Somali government, any Somali national who has foreign workers should seek a licence for his employees otherwise the foreigners will be arrested and their Somali employers will receive a harsh punishment” Gen Gaafow said. The Somali Immigration and naturalization remarks coincide with the rising number of expatriates arriving in Somalia without known plans. Xiin, Yes I did. Though I have to admit that I didn't understand what he exactly meant by "qoysaskii" (hence the pirate joke). -

Puntland waa xarfaaan. They probably included the hostages from the hijacked ships too. -
^^ Oh! I didn't listen, I just read the subtitles.
-
^^ Diversity, saaxib. Anyway, I didn't see much there. Only ONE guy was for SL!
-
Heh@Norf..say thank you for teaching you a new word. Faheema, I was on the phone with mother NG when the sound began to disappear and she threw that word at me. I swore to her that I really wasn't clearing my throat but she just laughed and explained what she meant. The last time I laughed that hard at a Somali word was when I heard what reer Burco call a pencil sharpner. :D
-
^^ hodonsanaa my foot. They're making up words according to the sounds. And Faheema, I meant xanshaashaq of course (imagine reading a Somali romantic novel with something that says "he sweetly nuxnuxed/xanshaashaqed into here ear!). :D Thanks Juxa.
-
^^ Both those are as good as nuxnux. But the one I heard sounded like "qashashax" or something along those sounds. Heh.
-
^^ I think reer Hargeisa use the nuxnux one. I heard another. Juxa..haye dee..I'm not really good at sasab nooh.
-
Juxa, I am asking nicely now (though it's done in a nuxnux so that others don't hear). What word do YOU use?
-
Faheema, any will do. It looks like we have to educate Juxa here!
-
So now that Norf, Faheema and Juxa are here, tell me how to say whisper in Somali!
-
^^ I didn't watch the game. But I know how good the other Lucas is. I still can't see why you would need to compare the two. Bahasha baro.
-
^^ Adigu ma laba meelod baad ku murmaysa? I already told you what I think. Nuune, ninkaan yaano ku waalin. The Lucas of PSG does not play in the same position as the Lucas of LFC. You can't compare the two. Plus our Lucas just signed a new contract (that's FOUR managers who all rate him now).

For once, I have no hope of judging this "poem" but since it's Carafaat who wrote it, I'm going to err on the side of caution and say STUFF AND NONSENSE.
-
Heh@raula..what did you see about my Somali that gave you that idea? Juxa..I appreciate all your help dee. Bal waxaad ii sheegta, how does on say the word "whisper" in Somali. I came across it recently and I'm still smiling every time I think of it (I bet Norf and raula don't know it). err..FIRST in, AGAIN. Morning all.

Turkey to host three-way talks with presidents of Somalia, Somaliland
NGONGE replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
^^ PL & Khaatumo in this instance are the Federal Government's problem and not Somaliland's. The terms for the talks are clear, saaxib. I can't keep repeating it for you dee. Wax fahan. -
Turkey to host three-way talks with presidents of Somalia, Somaliland

^^ Formalities are the bedrock of any discussion, saaxib. I told you that Somalia made a mistake by agreeing to these talks in the first place. -
^^ Does it give you an idea of how hard it will be for the FG to convince SL of anything?

Baashi, This is what the two sides agreed. Do you see any PL or Khaatumo mention? President Hassan had no say in the matter. It was Sharif's government that agreed to these talks and the scope of the talks. It's all about clarifying the future relationship between the two sides (not PL, not Khaatumo). Everything I wrote in my second reply to you falls within this agreement. Are we going to move the goal posts now? As for Oodweyne, I'm not sure if you've been paying attention but his opposition to the Kulmiye government was all rooted in the fact that he thinks they're being too soft on the Somali Federal Government. Again, read the document and ka fakir...
