Sool maha Hargeysa ee waa Sool, waana Puntland......
juma-nne replied to Garaad Bari's topic in Politics
Sool maaha hargeysa ee waa sool waana puntland. Wallahi maxaa bahashi qabyaladda ahayd weli ummadii lagu afuufayaa. This statement reminds me of the regional historic events. When caynaba was a battle ground the famous poet Yawle talked to the residents of this areas and advised them to calm down and peacfully share the God given resources pointing that conflict and war cries would scare none but the very crying lots. Just like what we are seeing today. The agressors didnt heed the advice and the result was "Hooyoi hoosta igeli".That is when the same poet who was calling for the calm followed it with the famous Poem. Inbadan baa nugaal murantu tagnayd, qolaba qola damcasnaid inay muquunshaan. I am sure TFG guru, Xiin-faniin got this in his archives. It seems now the history is repeating itself and the dwellers of this wretched part of the world still dwell in those jahiliya times while the few who were lucky to venture out of this areas could not come back with nothing more than war drumming conferences.  -

Its clear from Somali existance history that Any initiative based on clan and regional alliances amounts to none less than failure. I beleive these Somali youths should, they be expecting some tangible result, need to refrain from clinging on such failed initiatives. They can instead invest their time, expertise and resources on something new. “Doing things the same way you always have and expecting the results to be different is insanity.” ( Albert Aintein)

Best thing for silaanyo is to concurently declare his voluntary resignation from contexting at the very joint statement. I believe if he hands it to DR. Gaboose things might turn great for the Oppositon.
-
Silaanyo looks so bedraggled. He should just do a promised land speech and leave it to Saleeban Gaal who actually has the balls to reach for the brass ring. I agree odeygu waa kataal. Why salebaan though and Not Faysal waraabe?

Let us wait for JB to brief us on those Qodobs. "Koley meesha madaxtooyada kamafogayn" Haddanuba ahayn Kaa meesha riyaale halka la saxeexaayo tusaya

Somaliland elders extend President Kahin's rule
juma-nne replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
The dominant family there knows. If they take Riyaale out of power, he'll take his whole family and join Sharif's government. Those Somali flags in Boorama were calculated. So they have no choice but to tolerate Mr. Riyaale. Provided the dominant family lives in peace and stabilty i dont see any fuss here. In kenya The dominat "KIKUYUS" tolerated MOI'S rule for 24 years. -
Somaliland elders extend President Kahin's rule

Thanks God, it ended in peace. However while riyaale is playing his cards well, the oppositon seems to be disorganized and ill prepared, to encounter the malicous tactics employed by riyaale. The oppositon needs to get organized and setup startegic process in place. They should stop crying foul everytime riyaale pulls the rug from under their feets. : dadweynoo isusoo baxaa oo xabadda isudhiga is not a good political startegy -
No one betrayed him ,,,,,,,,, he is exercising the freedom he fought for. Becoming a president is another story here .... Exercising Freedom kulahaa. Sxb Jb be carefull cause you sound like those pointed out by Maxmed kaahin On the cotrary he is still fighting the smae forces that came back in disguise. Listen to his latest speech on the dozens of detained poor massess just becasue they came out to demonstrate. Very much like the 1980s this time from within though with likes of you on the frontlines.

Urban riots in 1966 by angry and frustrated Blacks did not compare to the magnitude of the Watts riot a year earlier, but violence spread to more cities, 43 for the year, including Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Dayton, St. Louis, Brooklyn, Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Atlanta. By the end of the summer, 7 persons were dead, over 400 injured, 3,000 arrested; property damage was estimated at over $5 million This was one riot that caused more than what you and company are hyping here.

Seems Duke and his Army are overdoing the hype. Saaxibayaal it is not a strange thing violent demonstration happens even in the most developed western world. Remeber the Rodney King riots in Los angeles and many others.

Wallee ninkan Dalmar caadi maaha . war odeygii Siilanyo ayaiy kaga dhegataye maxaa laga siiyaa?. Be carefull though odeyga could be your adeer according to some somali myths

While hairgasaawis were busy developing the city i. Ryaale was busy shaping up a a formidable force to counter any movement. you can see how the anti riots were well equiped. He really prepared for this. I remember many hailing riyaale for creating a strong army and law enforcing forces. Little did they knew that the main startegy of a dictator is to create a brutal law enforcement.

I listened to both Siilanyo and Riyaale interviews. And i could clearly see the Bitternes of siilanyo while riyaale talk was full of political undertones shrouded with arogance. Markaa meesha waxaa iga muuqatay, Nin-laciilay iyo nin Kibir daacay
