"Landcruiser gado, soo bari galeey geeska afrikooowm, guuxiisa mood gob inaad ku tahay.............................." Personal enrichment without looking at surroundings and the environment you live in is synonyms with Somalis and the third world's short-sightedness.

Backlash @ SNM clan attempted humiliation of SOOL leaders
Sikaawe replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^This is not even a Pyrrhic victory, the attempt to humiliate the Garad’s is a wonderful own goal by the SNM militia and their secessionist agenda. The whole population will support their elders, while those who take the few funds will no doubt be marginalized. I hope you do not boil up your blood here man otherwise you may get your pressure shoot with consequence, so take it. With the Garad's situation, we all respect and consider him a respectable chiefman for his family and other Somalis as well, so if he wants to take his family and region back to Puntland we respect it as long as his people agree with him with majority. No insulting or hard feeling, adeer. We are all Somalis, we can live together and side by side as we have got political difference that cannot sort out in the near future. -
Originally posted by GAAROODI: SOMALILAND SAXIB, IS UNSTOPPABLE, I AM RETHINKING MY POLITICAL PROSPECTIVE ON SOMALIA, BEFORE I WAS PRO GOING IT ALONE TODAY I THINK WE SHOULD START AN EMPIRE JUST TAKE OVER ALL THESE VILLAGES IN SOMALIA TURN THEM INTO OUR LABOUR MARKET AND SUCK THEM DRY. RESOURCES AND MAN POWER. LEBENSRUM...... Good one sxb, these people cannot do anything for themselves, so we have to take them over village by village and then tame and educate them on how lead and administer people, lol. It is semi wild the word that suits them for their civil stage.

Originally posted by djibsomali: today was a different day for Somaliland in Birmingham (UK) Faysal ali waraabe; Dr mahamed-rashid and ucid team where the guest honour for Birmingham community. Friends and myself went to the event out of curiosity and as well to have good dose of mirqan or hallucination from the accustomed joker and sometimes classified as the crasy man of Somaliland (northern version of muse sucdi yalloxow). I am sorry but we were disappointed and came back not only as a change men but have a totally different view of faisal. The points noted in this meeting were as follow: 1) we have seen a party (UCID) with an agenda and a political manifesto. although the manifesto is in a good portion as a wishful thinking and not based on the reality at the ground. but for a change a party with at least some kind of manifesto 2)A party in peace with its population and it is neighbour countries. no more the bad man of wallaweyne (somalia), the boogy man is gone. even a pertinent question asked was what was his thought of the scc (sool and sanaag) current meeting against somaliland. his answer: somaliland is a nation with different view therefore will meet them even with their different view regarding somaliland 3) the platform was a better representation of somaliland (hence member of awdal in the panel) not like the last time when universal tv presenter harari herded 4 guys (faisal, a minister, a kulimiye man, and a local man) we tougth from his local mafrash without even brushing his teeth and putted as a TV debate representing somaliland. Universal TV failed on this one without even realising that the 5 guys (including harari green teeth) were all from the triangle (tribe) and in no way representing Somaliland as a whole 4) UCID political manifesto did accommodated for the religion hence not leaving anything to be exploited by the so called extremist 5)UCID broke the news that the outcome of the refined voter registration will be totally different to what some of the triangle where always wishing when chewing that favoured plant (khat) and awdal will be the second populous district (gobool) and 1st in density second to none. 6) That the atrocity in ceelbardale when some cowards killed innocent travellers instead of fighting the opposite faction had the biggest repercussion in history for somaliland economic. Yes somaliland have lost it big time because of this doqonimo act. How? Ethiopia was building berbera corridor and have finished the road up to the frontier however stopped short going past the frontier, as they will have to pass alongside those few yards of tomatoes farms (where nothing have grown for 19 years). Ethiopia has indefinitely postponed the road construction in somaliland. 7) Faysal pointed that kulmiye have not future in somaliland as they were responsible for breaking the voter registration and will be losing the most when refined their members partaking in 1994 inter clan atrocity with ina bixi(kulmiye's vice chair man) seeking revenges against a section of Somaliland based on a specific clan. Burning Somaliland public properties ( those government cars in last year manifestation) 7) finally it looks like Faysal got a good team in this case DR mohamed-rashi or maybe was in medication. I believe UCID is in deed a change to mirqan land out of hallucination. the score so far UCID 1 point UDUB 0 point kulmiye -1 (hopeless) based on uqdaadnimo UDUB and riyalleh should be scared now as the ex clown has changed. And the change is for the good AND WITH A VISION I do not really understand what this guy is talking about, it is really mind boggling innit that someone writes such long message with a little meaning and objective. So, for some people it better for them to read what they have writen before they try to post publicly.

WSJ-Sharif Hotel interview an insight into failure

Originally posted by Abwaan: quote:Originally posted by Sikaawe: I respect the guy as a man, but again in my view he does not deserve to be president of Somalia. He would rather be local school/quran teacher, he does not have the credential nor the look. I respect your view and would like to ask you who your candidate would be for this post? Sharif Xassan, Ibbi? Muuse Suudi? Xuub-sireed? Riyaale? Faysal Cali Waraabe? Buubaa? Juriile? Mowliid Macaane? Qanyare? Bashiir Raage? C/Qaybdiid? Indhacadde? Faroole? Daba-geed? Maxamed Dheere? Bari-Bari? Shongolle? Morgan? Abu-Mansur? Xaabsade? Cali Mahdi? Darmaan? Maslax Maxamed Siyaad? Xassan D Aweys? Godane? Who am I missing? please help. A lot of choices! I don't beleive that Sharif is the best man for this job but I think he is better than many in Somali politics. Plus let us rate him on his actions, personality and legacy because that is important too. Non of those you mentioned, but simply likes of Noor-adde and others.
