  2. SomaliPhilosopher;946418 wrote: That's good. 4 20 page papers ? Is this a marijuana innuendo abiyo? I don't know what to say... are you some sort of pot head saffy? Haha the 420 didn't even occur to me as I typed it, are you sure you're not the pothead SP? Wadani;946419 wrote: loooooool. This gave me a good laugh. Needed that, cuz im in a lousy mood today for some reason. Safferz, wanna cheer me up? Aw sorry to hear that. This prank call always gets me:
  3. SomaliPhilosopher;946414 wrote: Me and Wadani had a little talk dee. We met at the Niagara Falls as my passport is expired so I wasn't able to cross the border. We exchanged a few fistt, gabay recital contests, and a game of rock paper sizzors. Lets just say SP still got it in him lool I can actually see this happening

It's alright, I have an exam tomorrow afternoon and a paper to write (along with revising some other stuff that needs to be handed in). It's a busy week but MUCH better than last semester, when I had four 20 pagers to do lol. Looking forward to heading back to Toronto on the 15th
  5. I see you creeping Wadani, ku aaway? Have you stopped talking to me? *waves at Wadani*
  6. Carafaat;946403 wrote: I agree. All the kids should leave this thread to us who are 30+. Alpha, inaar, please leave this thread you know nothing of the 90's, you were watching X-men and Pokemon cartoon and that doesnt count as peaking during the 90's. Alpha, in the 90's were dancing bubbling. i dont even think you know what that is. I have to admit I'm not over 30, but I do remember the later half of the 90s and I have a strong appreciation for the decade's music
  7. Alpha Blondy;946389 wrote: Oba, i'm in a romantic mood tonight. should we take these two chicks (my ex-reeyo and saffz-my current chick ) on a double date? Since when? I'm back, have to take a break from my work for a little while.
  8. Have fun SP, and don't you shave that fro I'm off for a while too folks, have a few tasks to do and I want to get a few hours of uninterrupted writing in so I'll be back later.
  9. The ONLY reason I'm forgiving you Alpha is because of Randy Savage.
  10. Alpha Blondy;946365 wrote: for goodness sakes, this is a troll thread not the Boston Global. who are you impressing with your objectivity, inaar? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL lool I thought the purpose of threads like this was to have an anything goes, talk about whatever you want type of space? So I was just sharing a thought I had today. But if I'm not wanted here then I will leave
  11. Alpha Blondy;946346 wrote: you should know by now that you and Marathons are like an oxymoron. i thought you'd know by now. waa ku sidee, inaar? but the Great Satan's spirit still burns strong, ma istidhi? Curiously enough, Boston area races have seen a spike in registration since the bombing I can't run the Boston Marathon though, you have to qualify to run it but running another marathon in a fast enough time, so I want to run the GoodLife Toronto marathon or half-marathon next spring. Or maybe the Toronto Women's Half which is also in May, I've done a few of their races before but never the half-marathon.
  12. Aaliyyah;946350 wrote: Alpha can you and your scripts stick to the topic of the thread. Thanks I was on topic until that troll Alpha began harassing me
  13. No amount of gold in the world could sway me romantically in your favour Alpha  Now excuse me while I go make dinner
  14. lool cambuulo, that's awful! nuune;946337 wrote: Safferz , ever since you mentioned that you will be travelling to Africa, Apha has never being the same, well he has never being the same ever since he broke up with his Moroccan girl(in her 40s). With the exception of my time in Addis, I will be off the grid completely with little to no internet, so tough luck for Alpha finding me in Africa during my SOL hiatus I don't think I will be in Hargeisa this summer either.
  15. I don't understand why I'm being pushed into relationships with SOLers who are trying to claim me, when all I want is to be free to play the SOL field Polyamory... ee siida ula soco.
  16. Reeyo;946330 wrote: Saf: Go for it. Can't really lose much by doing it. The only draw back is that a training schedule for a fall marathon means running over the summer (not possible for me this summer anyway, since I'm traveling) and a spring marathon schedule means running during winter months, and I live in New England But I can bundle up like every other runner in this city, and use the treadmill during freak weather lol.
  17. lool ma doonayo dee, that's important too!
  18. So it's marathon weekend in many major cities across the US, and every year (as well as during fall marathon weekends) I get the urge to start training and actually do one. It's been on my bucket list forever. So spring 2014, should I do it y'all? Or maybe a half-marathon as a more realistic goal? I've done a number of 5ks and the longest race I've ran so far is a 10k

  20. Alpha Blondy;946299 wrote: its passed the watershed ee sida uula soco. WTF! lol I'm sorry but Aaliyyah asked, and I delivered. I haven't even gotten to the really embarrassing stuff (which I've programmed out of my memory).
  21. All in the last week: - I accidentally texted "give me a sex" to a male friend when my phone autocorrected "give me a sec" - Server brings my meal to the table and says "enjoy your meal" and without thinking I replied "thanks, you too!" (I do this more often than I should) - I realized Songza was linked to my Facebook account when I received a comment notification (on my Songza activity) asking why I'm listening to "Booty Wurk (One Cheek At a Time)" - The maintenance guys for my apartment just came in without knocking and I wasn't wearing pants
  22. Where do I even start? Awkward moments define my life.
  23. Alpha Blondy;946265 wrote: ^ Not your typical Somali miyaa sheekadadu? kulaaha ''I'm impressed you know bell hooks'' that's bang out of order, walahi. Saffzoow, inaar, you know very much we look towards the Americans for cultural guidance. laakin, when did tree-hugging Canada join the fold? Don't make this about Somalis when I said I'm impressed *YOU* know bell hooks... ee sida uula soco. Canada and the United States are virtually the same culturally dee, you should know that.
