  1. No, I still say this is Apo when he logs on to SOL, Haatu confirms I'm not far off:
  2. Alpha Blondy;987327 wrote: this is not an episode of Sally Jessy Raphael, ma garatay? what's up with these open-ended sort of questions? Just trying to clarify the question and understand what you're asking, dee. Are you high, Alpha? Because it's too early and I'm too sober for introspection, I'd like whatever you're on
  3. Alpha Blondy;987325 wrote: a moment of introspective, if you will does a decedent and immoral society negate a person's lack of faith? What do you mean by "negate a person's lack of faith"?
  4. SomaliPhilosopher;987321 wrote: ^^ Saffy now lets go to Merca and celebrate my cleared name! I am sure you fixed your eye liner mishap by now Not only that, I deep cleaned my entire apartment *and* took care of my Don King hair situation so my curls look okay again, all while checking in to see this identity drama unfold I've always wanted to go to Merca... I've actually never been south of Somaliland, you know
  5. SomaliPhilosopher;987314 wrote: Reeyo has been watching too much law and order. I must clear my name! Now why would I PM myself Detective Reeyo? After this blunder, I think the SOL Police Chief will station you in somalinet Now everyone leave SP alone!!!
  6. SomaliPhilosopher;987303 wrote: Ridiculous! So is SP Apo? Or is Apo SP? I will be more inclined to jump on this bandwagon if it is the latter. Too much attention has ben given to SP today, its making me uncomfortable  Well I don't buy it either, SP... although Reeyo's theory is intriguing, I think there's more evidence to suggest you two are not the same person You can start a rumour about Reeyo being an Alpha script if you want. Or Reeyo being Chimera or something lol.
  7. Che, Haatu yare is from there
  8. Sensing the growing opposition to my progressive, modernizing government by qabilists, medieval-style Islamists and old fashioned, regressive misogynists, I've decided to abdicate and flee to Zimbabwe, where President Mugabe has graciously offered asylum to me and my inner circle. Y'all can destroy everything I've built trying to fight over the power vacuum I've left
  9. Reeyo;987291 wrote: Saf, firstly LOL @ at the clan mentions! (What has SOL done to you?) and secondly put aside the cyber-crush and look at this objectively. When Apo is having a good day, he is all the above you have mentioned. Clan is relevant because it's a way of 'placing' people, in the same way you've mentioned Nairobi And I disagree... notwithstanding my crush on SP, I don't find anything Apo has to say particularly intelligent or well informed, and his inability to engage properly in debate is why he feels the need to resort to insults and personal attacks.
  10. Reeyo;987284 wrote: Horta Haatu since you are already on this road of discovery, what is the connection between Apo and SP? They suspiciously sound the same sometimes (when Apo has taken some happy pills) and currently both claim NBO....hm No way... SP is a nice, well read/informed guy with pretty balanced positions in discussions (except the rape thread ), and definitely American. I also believe he's from Xamar, though he seems to travel quite a bit. Apophis, on the other hand, I imagine looks something like this behind his computer: Also has Britishisms in his posts, and unfortunately he's OG.
  11. SomaliPhilosopher;987278 wrote: Saffy!!! Help me! I am wrongly being interrogated!! Haatu, let me live this 'cush' life of mine in peace warya!!! Waryadaheen, leave SP alone  We all know he's a middle income basaas, not a cushy corrupt official's son. Naga daa riwaayada
  12. Haatu;987249 wrote: Araajo. Is your house dirty too? Uff No, I'm actually quite compulsive about cleaning and organizing. Night owl does not = slob dee. But I think we may be scattered people in other ways, and I like to think that's where the creativity comes from
  13. SomaliPhilosopher;987246 wrote: thats kinda unattractive saffy If you think that's unattractive, you don't want to see how I woke up with Don King hair and raccoon eyes because I forgot to wash my eyeliner off last night lol
  14. More brilliant satire from the folks who brought us , Africans raising awareness about cold weather in Norway and donating radiators
  15. nuune, why did I think you were from kililka?
  16. Ibtisam, you have now been appointed prime minister now, as Haatu has defected from our government. Tallaabo;987109 wrote: Minister Tallaabo is deeply involved in a new scandal but refuses to resign. Here is his statement to the nation;) Tallaabo, a gay scandal in Somali politics? That's a first
  17. Alpha Blondy;987115 wrote: wayoow? what did i do now? I found your posts in the rape thread offensive and insensitive. I'm mad at SP and Cadale too, I expected better from my boys
  18. Heh, I thought it would be a video of Dr. Dre speaking on campus! But interesting lecture, I love that hip hop is a genre that has been taken up seriously by academics like other areas of pop culture. There are even classes on hip hop at many universities.
  19. Though the Women Republic has returned to the fold, Alpha Blondy has now been placed on unpaid leave from his post as minister of women's affairs and sent to sensitivity training for disturbing leaked video in which he discusses his personal views on rape with former propaganda minister Apophis. The United SOL States does not endorse or condone these views, given its strong commitment to equity, justice and protecting its citizens from violence.
  20. Calling it medieval is an understatement. Anyway it's not important, I'm no longer interested in participating in this thread... I find the attitudes towards rape victims disturbing and I'd rather not read them.
  21. Alpha Blondy;987065 wrote: do you think DNA technology should replace the 4 witness? Medieval Saudi Arabian punishment does not = Islam, the four witness thing is not for rape cases or to falsify a rape victim's claim, it's been used in Islamic legal history to make certain that people accused of adultery have indeed committed the act before authorizing a serious punishment for it.
  22. Apophis;987059 wrote: Arrest the complainant? It's a good way to reduce fake complaints, especially of rape. I like it. Alpha Blondy;987062 wrote: you needn't accuse them of being corrupt and thuggish. the burden of prove lies with the women who've made such allegations their bread and butter. 4 witness, somaha? You guys are gross.
