It was nicely done. I personally liked the 1st one better. One of the guys is a natural-born actor. Love the way he does the accent. Youth in San Diego did with Gulled (he finally went from Dhahar to Dhagaxbur ).

So it's good that you insisted to do the test. I am very sorry to hear about your state, but I would advice against believing this diagnosis. Honestly, I am usually a doctor's worst nightmare as I like to challenge them - I have a problem with their inclination to give a quick diagnosis and rush you to meds, as someone mentioned. Very few of them take the time to do a thorough assessment and try to address upstream factors that greatly affect our health. No one knows your body, health behaviors, or lifestyle as well as you do. Thus the onus is on you to get informed and change your lifestyle by incorporating health promoting and preventing behaviours/practices. If you haven't already done so, I would highly recommend seeing a nutritionist and to start with a change in your diet (takes incredible amount of will and discipline to maintain, but your health matters the most!). I myself have been feeling extremely tired and lacking energy lately; but it was sort of expected considering my last term's doubled workload which brought about poor diet (high caffeine & carbs, less fruit & veggies, and very low water intake), no exercise except my walk to and from campus, sleep deprivation, and high stress. I am paying the price this term! So I know exactly what you're experiencing sis Insha Allah, all the best, Allah yashfeek dear. P.S. What kind of Iron supplement are you taking? Sometimes physicians will prescribe you slow releasing type to avoid side effects, but the fast releasing type might be more effective (you just have to increase your fibre intake to avoid the side effects).

^let's hope so. One thing is for certain, I am looking very much forward to the drop in real estate.

It hasn't at all. At least not that I am conscious of. Being a student makes you tune out. Geeljiroow, Edm baan u soo socdayee hada ma waxaad leedahay things are looking grim?

It's a very debilitating but rare condition (difficult to diagnose too); Insha Allah, no one here is afflicted with it. Some of these symptoms however are very common to other milder conditions like vitamin/mineral (esp. Iron) dificiency, physical/mental stress, some infectious and chronic illnesses, etc.

Hmmm, interesting. I think basic human rights for all need to be established and recognized country-wide before targeted interventions for vulnerable groups can be initiated.

A positive change indeed for our youth back home; certainly a great health promoting initiative.

Half the things Marx utters cannot possibly be taken seriously (waa full of bile as he would likely agree) - most of you should know this by now. Originally posted by sheherazade: Something about Somalis makes them disinterested in good form, style and coordination. I don't only mean the clothing. Ever been to a Somali cafe or restaurant? Bound to be something to make you cringe. It's the disregard that gets to me. Hehe, ma ila aragtey? I can't honestly recall one Somali restaurant with interior design that seemed satisfactory in my standards (in the West that is; I can think of pretty good upscale ones in old Xamar). Oh and the terrible dress sense, I sometimes wish I could approach some Faraxs and say, ya akhi what planet do you live on? sida isu dhaan!! Boqol colours and textures oon islahayn - stuck in the 80s Somali style would be an understatement

Inaa Lilaah Wa Inaa Ileyhi raajicuun. I was hoping the news would be false. May Allah subhanahu watacala forgive his sins, have mercy on his soul and grant him janna. He died a shahiid. He was such a brave, intelligent, and honourable mujahid with immense passion to liberate his people. This is indeed a great loss for the struggle. I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with him couple of years back in MPls; he was incredibly inspirational. I remember a group of us went to dine with him one night when he refused to make an order for a meal, and when asked why, with a grim and sad face he responded, "ma ogtihiin dumarka iyo ragga naftood hurayaasha ah ee xidhka ku jira sida ey ku nool yihiin iyo waxey cunaan?" He will be missed!

The SOL Koora-something dude miyaa qorey sheekada by any chance? LOL. Originally posted by Caamir: Waxaa kaloo ka baraneysaa habka ay isu guursadaan dadkeena reer guuraaga ah isuna dhex galaan. What exactly does that highlighted part mean? I've heard of some horrific (regional) miyi customs regarding sheekoynka guurka, particularly concerning the abuse of women (not that the author would choose to narrate such elements). Caadoyin badan baa ku saleysnaa pure jaahilya notions, and were blatantly haram.
