Bisinka...some of those names cracked me up walahi. Originally posted by Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar: Laxwase . That's by far the weirdest one I have ever heard...check this, there was this waziir of some sort in xamar with this nasty name and not long ago, his daughter came to our house and my mother (who tells like it is) goes to the poor girl...naa soo ina lax wase ma tihid? I'm going   first for the fact that such name even exists and 2nd, that people could care less about it...cajaaib! Ok some more... dhugdhugle soomane maanqas...used to think it was referring to "maqas" lol gaal-eri dhamac and damac shuun...I can undertand a non-reer xamar girl with this name but NOT a reer xamar GUY...c'mon now. Dhilo casar--and it was for a man

I actually came across that first pic of the girl somewhere, and I saved it cuz she's just so cute...she seems so shy. Wow...I can't remember the last time I saw aqal somali, or sali being made or even the loox....man I miss xamar

honestly, I don't know! I dream way too much to have one consistent aspiration in life...so I'll just see what Allah (swt) has in store for me. p.s It's interesting how most of the girls wanna have like 5-10 kids by that time

Flying...I really love that second set you have up there...jini beige la yidhahdo ayaan leeyahay...the iron/glass coffee tables go beautifully with the set and goldish/white sheer or silk curtains (like white base with goldish stripes ) would finish off the room...cuz a little brightness is always useful in living rooms. The white set is not bad either..luv the design but it needs a lot more maintenance. And the bedroom set... well If the woman is coming from africa then she's gonna wanna see a lot more dhaldhalaal in there, contemporary look when it comes to furnishing would just not be their first choice.

Yes I do believe in Nabsi in all aspects of life...if you do a human being wrong intentionally, not will you only be punished in this world but also in the hereafter. Now haven said that, when it comes to marriage I think it's a little different. You can make a promise to someone but then later have a change of heart, after all you're only a human, and we change in response to new experiences we go through in life...and our perspective about that someone we're considering cannot always remain the same... That's why in Islam the engagement period is so critical...you need to discover any last gut feeling you might have about that person...and if there's any part of you that hesitates or doesn't wanna go ahead with the marriage, then you have every right to break off that engagement even that person is logically the best suiter for you...b/c chances are that feeling will not disappear after marriage but only worsen. But when you break it off, you have to do it in a very considerate manner. I honestly don't think this would call for nabsi because you're only doing what's best for your future and following your heart. However, if this becomes habitual, then things change...there's ppl out there with twisted motives who intentionally break ppl's hearts...i.e jumping from one guy to another, giving them hope based on lies and deceit and then later shattering their hearts into bits and pieces...that will definitely cause nabsi...in fact it's a sin!! P.S. karma means what goes around comes around?

Ameenah...Anytime macaanto. You're so adorable, I really do hope that you enjoyed your stay. You know how nice and welcoming Canadians are...even strangers go out of their way to bring you red roses, remember? So girl, you better have nice things to say about us. Ilhaam, don't even remind me about that car thing...it was terrifying walahi, but thank God that nova and I looked and also with your good driving skills (don't listen to Nova, your cool driver!)...to come to think of it, if that loser had bothered us any further, we could've easily taken cared of him quruka yar...but that was just one more reason why I should NOT drive in T.O Honestly, It was a lovely night, it was great meeting you too...you're too sweet, and for sure you and Nova are always welcome in our little town...whenever you guys feel like you need a little break from the big town! And yea, sorry I kept calling you Ilhaam all night, these names go a long way ya know Nova cadeey, again it was a pleasure meeting another lovely nomad girl like you...you're hilarious walahi...maxaa tiri, ktown girls are coming aa? ^^lol...don't sweat it mcaanto, I think Moti is just pulling ya leg! You guys, just let it go...ok, it WAS a little odd but the guy is gone, so cut him some slack! I get the feeling that ppl are now gonna start making all these weird connections and bombard the admin with assumptuous pm's like...."oh btw, hebel and hebel and hebel talk/write alike, so they must all be the same person"
-
Ilhaam..., ala adigaa, I've been waiting 4 you dee...we need to talk...and FYI, I DID clean out my pm just for the very Loooong pm of yours that I'm expecting to receive, lol. Although people dress differently for different occasions, your clothing does still reveal who you are to some extent...personally, I'm quite conservative and I just love to dress formally most of the time. I honestly cannot remember the last time I bought a pair of khakis or sneakers...that's just not me! And besides, as Muslim women, we have a certain dress code that we all need to follow and it represents our uniqueness and sets us apart from all other women in this world...isn't that just beautiful, alhamdulilah!
