  3. ^lol@ kala dhig dhig, af soomaligaaga waan ka helaa sometimes Nuune, Indeed, gabdhaha reer miyigu farsmada iyo shaqooyinka lifestyle-kooda ku saabsan wey ku dheereeyaan. 6. ^LoL @ Ihii. Seed u tidhaahdaa bal i maqashii Farax, you forgot the Hararis; gacan baan u taagey. Wey idaaliyaan aniga, esp now that my Harari has become quite rusted, I tend to answer alhamdulilah for all of them.

  8. ^It's always hard. I feel as though I am bothering the person; they're already under much pain. But you're right, geesiyad baan noqon.
  9. He was a great leader. May Allah forgive him and have mercy on his soul. I am expected to call the family, but quite honestly, I find it difficult to give condolences in person.
  10. Allah caza wajal said, "Or shall man have what he wishes?" In other words, he won't be granted all that he wishes for. And His Prophet salalahu calayhi wasalam said, "When one of you wishes for something, let him be careful with what he wishes for, because he does not know what part of his wish will be written for him." What's our goal? What are we striving to achieve?
  11. May Allah Subxanahu watacala have mercy on their souls.
  12. War MC-yoow, anu waan kuu digey, dambigan farabadan and sheekoyinkan maalaayacniga ah (sorry ) iska daa. P.S: You should have observed the named individual in his early days of SOL - afsalaxkudhag was the case, hehe. It would be fair to say that he has somewhat transformed.

    SOL Cafe...

The atmosphere in this Café appears much more conducive to smooth exchanges that are likely to result in any fruition, though a bit exclusive. I like your creativity with words; and your fair & humble projection of your peers - MashAllah

  15. and pray for him, InshaAllah. How do you feel around those who deliberately miss to observe their salat? Or those who have never turned a pg of the Qur'an? Or those who sadly live their lives as though it had been granted to them forever. What do you do about it??
  16. ^LoL. Haye, ready to give him some 'dhanglaaso'? You're top on the invitee list, I presume.
  17. Best wishes, darling. Data collection can be awfully tedious.
  18. LoL@topic. Some people need to lighten up. 19. ^LoL. As if any sane woman would fancy joining such company Just out of curiosity, how do you normally greet/conversate with women? Do you use this language in real life too?
  20. Originally posted by NinBrown: dadkiinaan fahamka ayaa niigu yar. I would think it's rather due to the lack of solid Islamic knowledge and tarbiya than fahmad dari (not just some SOlers, but it applies to the wider Somali population). Just as you have people ritualistically observing exoteric acts of worship without questioning the reason or undertanding the revealed wisdom behind it to build their imaan, you have people questioning the validity of those very acts of worship to challenge Allah's laws. Ignorance is an affliction.
  21. ^I never had to endure pure xulbad mix (thank God), that was more for wiilasha than me; so pity hug is really not necessary . And yes, that thing works, dhaaxey lafo waaweyn u yeeshay my brothers.

  23. ^Right. It's not about eating less, but eating smart. You like flax? It's my mom's ancient old answer to every health condition you can think of, and for prevention; that and xulbad! I used to be forced to drink an aargalaan of flax seed shake mixed with olive oil and hot water; yikes, oh was it ever viscous to drink. But it's rather nice when added to baked goods or your cereal. Cadaan, best wishes! Originally posted by Abdiladiif: Any Soomaali dhuubo dhex-yar, give her couple of years and 2-3 kids. 24. It's always hard, isn't it. Well, May Allah make it easy on you and guide you to the right choice. What we think isn't best for us may in fact be the antithesis; so pray.
