lol Gunther Von Hagens... great programme.

so what's the correct date, 1998 or 1988? His family pleaded to General Musharraf to speak to the court but he refused to get involved even tho the man was innocent.
-
Northener, i've been following the story as well, and this is really bad news. But i think there's a mistake in that article. I believe he killed the driver back in 1988 when he was still 18 years old. I'm sure that's what i've read on the Dailly Mirror a while ago.

lol^ nuune that's a great link mate. Justice, i have another tip for you. Make sure the handbrake is down, now, pressing the clutch, put the car in first gear. Here's fun part, press the gas pedal about 80% down and immediatly let go of the clutch, real fast. You'll love the result trust me.

I disagree 100% Nasheeds aren't bid'a (innovations), It's the use of modern instruments in the 'songs'. When the Prophet scw returned to Makkah from the Madina, (Fatxu Makkah in arabic), people were singing 'Talacal badru calayna). Have you heard of 'Ghaswat al-khandaq'(battle of the trench)? When the muslims in madinah were digging a huge trench infront of the entrance of the madinah to stop qureish invading the madinah, their morale was very low and the Prophet scw had to do something about it. So he called for a guy who was a good poet and told him come up with a poem to lift the men up and encourage them. Through out the whole event (digging the trenches) the men were singing/chanting to lift the morale higher. Correct me if the above is wrong. I dont have any links of ahadeeth or evidence from the internet, I've heard this in one of Amr Khaled's lectures. Wa'llahu aclam.

Umar had two black streaks on his face because of constant weeping. How I wish to meet that great man... Thanks for the reply Cambarro. Someone once told me that only the purest of hearts will be able to fear Allah, and be able to weep when reciting the qur'an. When I asked him to describe a pure heart, he just gave me an example... He said imagine if you're heart was an empty glass, on one hand you have a bottle of coke (just an example) and on the other you have a bottle of water. Everytime you commit sins, you're pouring the coke into the empty glass, and everytime you do good deeds, you're pouring the water into the glass. So he said you'll never have a pure heart unless there's a 100% pure water in the glass. If you have a full glass of coke then your heart is dark and to make it pure you have to keep on pouring the water (good deeds) into the glass untill all the coke is gone. And if the glass is full of water then your heart is pure, so if you start committing sins after that, the water will become diluted, and so will your heart. I hope I'm making sense here becasue I am writing this in a rush. Anyways, gotta run.

Originally posted by Channel4.com/sport/football_italia: Milan star Ricardo Oliveira’s sister has been kidnapped in Brazil – the second case of this kind to strike the club after Kakha Kaladze. News agencies ANSA and ‘O Globo’ report that two masked men broke into the Sao Paolo house of Maria de Lourdes Silva de Oliveira, tied up her husband and eight-year-old son before leaving with the 35-year-old woman. No ransom request has yet been received, but according to local police, the main suspect is the couple’s 14-year-old son. He has been repeatedly sentenced to a correctional facility for links to drug trafficking and the husband pointed out he had already threatened her. This is the eighth kidnap in Brazil that has involved the family member of a famous football player. The others in recent months have been Michael Anderson Pereira da Silva, Robinho, Kleber, Rogerio, Luis Fabiano, Marinho and Grafite. All the kidnap victims were released. Ricardo Oliveira joined Milan from Betis Seville in the summer and scored on his Serie A debut against Lazio. This is the second time that a Rossoneri player has been forced to confront the kidnap of a close relative. Kakha Kaladze’s younger brother was abducted in Georgia on May 23 2001. 21-year-old Levan’s body was found in February.

I've also heard that when you perform the sujuud, as you go down your knee must touch the floor first, then your hands. Your nose must touch the floor first, and then your forehead. Also there shouldn't be any gaps between your fingers, and your feet must be close to each other, with your toes facing the qiblah. Is that the correct way?
-
I dont wiggle my finger, and only raise it when i say the shahaada. I raise my hand after rukuc, palms facing me (like making a duca). But when i get up from sujuud or after tahiyaat, I always raise my hands all the way to my ears, palms facing forwards.

I think they've arranged the sections in order of their importance, highest to lowest. *Notice how the women's section was lowered down, and the men's (sports) was raised up? My point..

if a woman likes belching too it "would be just nasty"? ^Of course. You've misunderstood what I meant, I dont burp infront of others apart from my bros and a couple of mates. I was asking the guys if they'd be offended or be put off if a woman (family or other) burps infront of them.
-
I like belching, i can admit that. Infact, i have several techniques that i use to make them as loud as possible, the louder, the better. And i irritate the hell out of my brothers in doing so. But what if women do it? Guys, would it put you off if a woman burps after a meal? I think it's kind of cute if it happens every now and then, also the embarrasment on their face is worth it, but if it becomes a habit then it would be just nasty. How many women here would admit to it?

lol it was in the Daily Mirror the other day. The trick is to learn when to stop, after 50K, lay low for a while then resume again after a few months... I think he deserves his sentence... Mohammed, who used his experience as a bus driver to pass, told detectives he felt honour-bound to sit the computerised tests for dozens of fellow Somalis as it was not available in their native language and they could hardly speak any English. why would they drive buses if they can't speak english? aren't the bus companies gonna find out eventually? how would they speak to the passengers if they need to?
