I know you haven't forgotten Ibtisam, I've also been looking around for inspiration. I do have some ideas of things to do, but the only limit at the moment is my skills, needs to be upped a notch. i'll get there inshallah. I can see 'peasant's' pics now. i'm quite sure grave robbers have already paid a visit to say their salaams.

The pictures don't appear in the thread Ibtisam. But I saw them before, and if I remember correctly, there were also bottles of whisky? A whole mini bar I think. For the lonely nights probably.

Ya Lateef.. that was really sad, inna lillah wa inna ilayhi raajicuun. Some of my nephews and nieces are around the same age, and to lose a little kid like that is just heart melting.

I agree with you too, North. The arabic language, especially in some accents is just beautiful, chocolate to the ear. My fav arabic poem is Qooly UXibbuka by Nizaar Qabbani. Also like the song by Kathem.

Salaam. This is a request (or suggestion) to the admin team to implement this feature on the forums so we can save some topics in our user profiles. The "search" function doesn't work that well since more often than not, the topics are mis titled, and going through hundreds of pages will take forever. I saw this being used on another website and it's really useful, cuz there are so many threads that I want to check again but I can't find them. But I have no idea how hard it is to program into this site now. It would jst save a direct link of the thread into your profile which no-one else can see, I know you can bookmark the page, but sometimes you log in from another computer so its useless. So please, can everyone vote whether or not they think that this is a good idea.

Many thanks to everyone that replied. Great ideas.. I know just the thing to buy now (i think) Grasshopper, no need for the foot massage kit, i've got 2 hands. My mum isn't the salon or Spa type. And if they can deliver those mags to middle east then i would look into it. Handbag sounds nice, i just dont trust my taste. I think i'll do most of what all of you suggested over the next couple of weeks that she's here for. inshallah.

Salam I've only seen my mum once in over 2 years now, and she's visiting again next week with my little bro and little sis. So can you recommend something please? I'm out of ideas.. I'm getting my little bro a PSP (second hand) , since I know he's crazy about them. He's 8/9 yrs old. Mum: I don't know what to buy, she loves perfumes but already owns a large collection. She doesnt wear jewelery. Already owns a few Qur'ans. Never uses 'gadgets'. I'm stuck, and I never bought her anything before at all.. Little sis: 15/16 yrs old. Used to be into hip hop music, wanted to be a fashion designer. But now she's studyin full-time in an Islamic college, then after that wants to enroll into an Islamic uni, somewhere in Arab world. Quite a change. Any gift ideas?

I don't feel sorry for her, or any other celebrities that end up like her or ones found dead in a hotel room. If I remember correctly, didn't all this start when she married this guy in Vegas? I just remember everything goin downhill after that. If the pressure is that great, then just, pack it up and move somewhere ffs. You've got the millions so just go, leave. You can lead a quiet family life, but it doesnt have to be in LA.

The Liverpool manager flies to Baghdad to watch a young Iraqi play football and is suitably impressed and arranges for him to come over to Anfield. Two weeks later Liverpool are 4-0 down at Man Utd with only 20 minutes left. The manager gives the young Iraqi striker the nod and on he goes. The lad is a sensation, scores 5 goals in 20 minutes and wins the game for Liverpool. The fans are delighted, the players and coaches are delighted and the media love the new star. When the player comes off the pitch he phones his mum to tell her about his first day in English football." Hello mum, guess what?" he says in an Iraqi accent. "I played for 20 minutes today, we were 4-0 down but I scored 5 and we won. Everybody loves me, the fans, the media, they all love me." "Wonderful," says his mum, "Let me tell you about my day. Your father got shot in the street and robbed, your sister and I were ambushed, gang raped and beaten and your brother has joined a gang of looters, and all while you were having such great time." The young lad is very upset, "What can I say mum, but I'm so sorry." "Sorry?!!! Sorry?!!!" says his mum, "It's your bloody fault we moved to Liverpool in the first place!"

lol i see, FF. Well if that's your motivation, then all the best. I do the high intensity training on tuesdays, thursdays, and saturdays. More than that it's too much. First time I did it felt like i was gonna die in the park. Beginners are supposed to sprint (like you're being chased by a tiger) for 30 seconds, followed by a light jog/walk for a minute, then sprint again.. (and repeat) First day I warmed up for 10mins by jogging to increase my heart rate and allow my muscles to warm. then i stretched my legs muscles. lol.. i began joggin for a minute or so, then started the sprint, it was much harder than i thought, and only managed to sprint at full speed for 10 seconds, i was gonna die.. my thigh muscles felt like they were ripping with each step. I followed that with a walk for 2 mins, then again sprinted, but this time i only managed 5 seconds. I gave up and went home. My legs were sore for the next 2 days. To cut a long story short, it will work if you keep working at it. I have seen some results, lost some body fat and my body feels great. Now i can manage to sprint for a full 30 seconds, then jog/walk for a minute. and repeat that 4 times. to finish off, jog/walk for 10mins to bring your heart rate down, then stretch. All it takes is 20mins or so. A lot of people managed to drop down their body fat percentage with this, and so can you.

Working out/exercising is only half the work, the other 50% is the food you eat. Almost all fitness and nutrition experts say you have to eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day. Getting fit is a full time job all on its own, and my advise would be to take it slow. Start with healthy eating till it becomes a habit, then begin exercising. I tried to do both at the same time and, and my whole day revolved around the workout and meal times, didnt have time to do anything else. Femme Fatale, if you don't mind answering, what are you looking to get out of it, just fat loss? erm muscle gain? If it's just fat loss, then there's a Gym alternative, and free. HIIT (high intensity interval training) *a style of running/jogging for 15mins* some info a lil more info..
