As to London_lad since you are the last person, i think i would comment on your statements. What i was talking about dawrinism in my understanding, i was using it in terms of how we naturally as human evolve through time and how our experience and our genetic make-up allow us to survive at time things that millions would die from. Such case can be seen in some anglo being immune to aids(due to having ancestral that survived the black plague that killed a lot of european). Again i was trying to analyze that cloning only reprodues supposdely the same geneti make-up that have already existed and therefore it's really not helpfull in terms of human evolution. But on the other hand they will use ppl that have stronger or better genetic compenation as to clone and isn't that in some terms a discrimination because who would you think would likely get cloned!!!!!!! As to cloning happening sorry to tell you this but if it takes them 200 tries they will keep at it the line of science has almost become non-existene there is no sacred grounds anymore. As to them creating a human being as Allah has done of course that is not a possiblity no matter what they try. it is just a matter of time when we would see donald trumps's clone or what not. As to stem cell researh, that's already in court proess, trying to say that they can figure out what the body isn't making and try to have it made and ingested into the body that is in need and voila you might be cured. But with stem cell researh there must be a relationship between the donor and receipent, maybe a child and a father, and usually the ambuloco cord(sp) has a lot of stem cells in it, so they harvest it at those times. Hello there Hussein: I thought i would never find myself writing another response but it seemed something of what you said somehow seemed most genuine so i thought to maybe help you out. I am not good at advicing, and in no way the matter of the heart, but there is one thing i always trully believed in. One must always follow their heart. If you have loved this woman for 9 yrs you have known then that clearly shows that you trully loved her in a sincere way that is not seen in this days. And you are right it is time for you to make a decision because you cann't be hanging from the same spot for the rest of your life. Tell her what you feel about her and how you love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her. And if she is your other half then there is nothing such as even being cousin would stand between you! A person as they grow up there is always idealism and sets of view points but as we go throw the process of growing up our idealism and believes change and grow with us. So if she says i don't believe in cousin being married maybe that wouldn't be the case in a year or two or even right now for her. As far as i know cousin have no higher rates of deficetive kids than other non-related couples for scientific points of view. And i think you guys being friend for that long time would had a tremondous weight into your side, because most successful of mariages don't only work because couples love each other, but because they are also best friends too there for can communicate very well, and communication will let your marriage successed or fail. SO AGAIN, set a time with her for you guys to meet and tell her that you wanted to talk to her about something serious and just tell her how you feel about her and how you felt about her this past 9 yrs or so, not that you just love her only. I guess in order to know whether Hijab is a liberation or suppression to women depends on what Allah had intended it to be and what had cultures, societies, and especially men turned Hijab’s purpose? In my opinion as to what Allah was asking women to wear Hijab and other dress codes was for the protection of women cause really if all the population of the world is just women who the hell cares if one woman is half naked or not no one is jumping her cause she aroused them or what not (except lesbians but they are minorities), so it only leads to that men having so little control over their baser needs (be it to their sexual fantasies or thoughts that lead to sexual activity) which in terms lead to Xaram activities. Allah had the strong sex of the gender to make the ultimate sacrifice and cover themselves. To me, I think that feminists should support Hijab because feminist fights for the equal treatment of both males and females, and with them being covered women are not forced to use their bodies for advancements or in any demeaning ways. I mean come on, wearing a Hijab makes a woman less attractive than one who is not wearing one, cause let’s face it having hair around ones face makes a huge difference in their total appearance in the end. Therefore, women wearing Hijab are being listen to based on how they think etc and presents the image of a woman who is standing on her own two feet. Why some Somali women don’t wear them? Hmm there are a lot of things that we suppose to be doing such as praying and what not and not all of us do so and they not doing it cause we think it is not liberating or good for us, it’s just each one of us arrives at the decision in different times. Another part I think is that what men have associated Hijab with is that if a Somali guy sees a women wearing Hijab their mentality toward those women change, they treat them with respect that they might not give to other non-hijab wearing women. And maybe those women that don’t wear it are protesting against that type of mentality or behaviors. Allah has give all human beings the right to make choices when all options are provided and punishments are also outlined, it is not the right of another human to come and force a woman to wear something she does not choose to do so (such as maybe in Afghanistan and other Arabic countries) because that same people would not be standing in front of Allah for them on the day of judgment so all someone should do is teach a person the difference between right and wrong and let them make their choices and mistakes. Wearing Hijab and another stuffs should be done for the LOVE OF ALLAH nothing else not because of force or oppression NOTHING ELSE. Scientific experiements and developments are not stopping anywhere soon it seems that the line is just getting pushed back of what advancment is accuring around as today. Artifical limbs were unheard of and seemed impossible to tackle but look at what we doing today, cloning a whole person!!! My intrest to cloning is directed at why people are approving of this practice? Hitler was mentioned and what he did in his pursuit to achieve the pure race and the whole world to this day is outraged about it. But now with cloning as one of u mentioned, is not going to be avaliable to everyone that wants a mini-them or carbon copy of them! no the ones that would have the opportunities to be cloned they would be are rich, educated, probably heathly, and would be considered those canidates whom are fittest in society, so isn't this another form of someone saying i am going to try to achieve a pure race but people would not be outraged about it today! the way i see it is like this: in africa it's a country that is not industrilazed except for maybe 4 countries the rest of the african nations depend on agriculture, now land isn't getting bigger but with our extreme high percentage of birth rates creats more mouths than the land can produce in terms of foods. Now as to the western worlds, they are a capitalists socitey, huge industerlized systems therefore they need higher percetage of ppl to help continue increasing the economy, in another words they need more ppl working for each senior citizen or a child that is out there. Our economic goals are different therefore our output shouldn't not be the same or looked at in the same manners. that's my 1 1/2 cents on this topic.

hey dude interesting topic and u rite it is not one that can be answered with few words or what not, but before i bore u to death i guess i should start saying and quickly too there is nothing called absoulate freedom, either goverment, society, religion, and individual principles put restrictions on freedoms. as to equality now, in the eyes of allah we are but will never be in the eyes of other human beings because again we have developed systems, cultures, ideologies that creates inferiorties and inequality between people. In this country i think that their freedom might seem great on the outside, but not so can be seen so even looking at their election system where the electoral colleges choices the president not the ppl themselves directly. And also the canidats that are present they are supported by ppl that got money and therefore an interest of their own to protect so who do u think that elected officials would try to help or make sure that their needs are taken care of i tell it ain't the average american that's who not. But to make the story more shorter, i personally would achieve as human being both freedom and equality if i lived in an island all by myself that's all, there is no middle ground in my opinion nor can one exit without the other so therefore i don't believe a decision of which one need to be made here. that's more than my 1 1/2 cents on this topic.

hmm if u said i will shoot u if u don't tell me ur clan i couldn't do it to save my own life. My parents hadn't raised me on qabiil but they are concious of it because that's what they grow up on. Qabiil is part of ones identity as to how they might behave or think or react but in no way it is meant to determine ones worth in terms of humans. to me what's a humans cann't have a choice about but was given to him/her by allah isn't something for me to decide or pass judgment on them by it. well i guess i couldn't pass to put my 1 1/2 cents on one of my funniest incident topic: about a year ago i was at this carnival in holland with my younger sister, little cousin of mine, and my aunt. as we were standing there waiting for those dancer to come by these guyz pass us by and my aunt comments on their dress style, so i was like i don't care. Anyways, they come back so i thought they heard what my aunt said about them, but nah they asked if we were somali :rolleyes: so one guy says to me u look familiar i think i so u in "aldi" last week or so, and i am like nah i ain't from here and he asks where and i say usa, he was like stop lying i was like there isn't a reason for me to lie. My aunt was like next time u see her there grab her by the neck, that poor girl whomever she turns out to be!!!. Then he asked what was our names, i told him my real name and then my aunt and sis lied about their names and i couldn't stop laughing cause my cousin was trying to call my aunt by her real name. anyways he says my sister is the only one that told him the truth i guess her appearence agrees with what ppl that have that names look like :confused: who knows. he offers to buy us drinks and we like we been saving this spot for 5 hrs we ain't moving, he is like leave the boy there to keep your spot, my aunt wanted to kick his ass for suggesting such a thing. we declined and then they moved on after a while. My little cousin from then on called them "labadi toogada". peace
