Ethiopian aircrafts 'carpet-bomb' O-gaden region
Abdulladiif Al-Fiqih replied to Castro's topic in Politics
The oil and gas discovery makes a bad situation 1000 times worse. Now the innocent are being carpet-bombed for no fault of theirs. Ya Allah! I'm feeling really upset with mixed emotions right now. May Allah give us sabr inshallah and protect our families in the region. Where are our Muslim brethren?.. Asleep? Dead? After O-denia many are now next. One by one.. Addeerayalo wake up, toosa! Its heartbreaking to see what our people go through every day but this is the price of the freedom walaal. We must die to be free. Many will be displaced, maimed, raped, killed and jailed before we are free but we must not loose hope. Geeska Africa waa sida Banka 'Serengeti Safari Park' oo kale. Baha dugaagga joogana waxaa ugu adag kolba ka ugu micida dheer marka waa inaan mici dheer labaxno. Please read below. Meles is feeling the heat. He's trying to invite the ONLF to a disingenuous and deceitful Negotiation to bail himself out of this hellhole he created himself for in the Horn. ************************************************* STATEMENT ON TPLF's LACK OF COMMITMENT TO SERIOUS PEACEFUL DIALOGUE 16 November 2007 The Tigray Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF) led regime currently in power in Ethiopia has been well aware of the OGGGADEN National Liberation Front(ONLF) policy on resolving the OCADEN conflict through peaceful dialogue. We have maintained that any such dialogue should be held in a neutral third country, in the presence of a neutral third party arbiter of international standing with no preconditions placed on either side. In that context, recent attempts by the TPLF to utilize the person of Prof. Ephrem Isaac to seek to negotiate on matters that can only be addressed by the TPLF Regime itself demonstrate the lack of commitment of this regime to engage in serious diologue in order to reach a comprehensive and just political settlement on the OCCADEN conflict. The ONLF would like to make clear to the TPLF regime that we will not meet with or negotiate with Prof. Ephrem Isaac as he is not a government official and has no recognized authority nor the ability to affect circumstances on the ground in Ogggaden. The TPLF regime continues to execute a campaign of terror against our people and has shown no sign of seeking a peaceful solution to the Ogggggaden conflict. Despite this, our door remains open to enter into discussions with the TPLF regime in the context of our long standing policy for dialogue. OGGGADEN National Liberation Front (ONLF) -
The day, that Somaliland as a whole agrees to participate the slaughter of it’s brethren in Somalia or even in Somali-galbeed, at the behest of the Ethiopian’s Army, without anyone objecting to it; then in that day the moral indictment that Puntland are at the moment charge with, will also be levelled at the feet of Somaliland – both as a people and as State (in the legal sense of that word). Oodaweyne, Somaliland started selling somalis from that Region to Meles back in 1996 and the last incident being less than 2 months ago, was the round up of 30 men and delivering to Meles. Upto this date, Somaliland public in general, guurti, culimo and human right orgs. have not come out and spoke against this. This only tells me that they all agree with their admin. Why else would they all be silent abt the selling of their somalis brothers and sisters to Tigrey and Xabasha?

^You need to get it right. There is only party which is killing the innocent somalis and other is trying to protect. No, we DO NOT need humanitarian ogrs, we need somalis with pure blood to fight off wayone and their dabo-qoodhi. -

Most Recent Massacres Committed by ONLF
Abdulladiif Al-Fiqih replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
^Calling it Western somalia might've been more unifying amongs somalis but it was sure a bad strategy and failed one. I believe making the region just another province of somalia like Siyad (R.A) did will never work and we know it did not work before. The world believes that OGGADDEN is part of Ethiopia regardless of what we somalis know and believe. Somalia broke international laws when it crossed the border in '77. If we are to get back any land from either Ethiopia or Kenya, we oughto help these folks who live in these regions carve their own identity, separately from somalia that way, it wont be seen as 2 countries (somalia&Ethiopia) warring over piece of land. It wont look like a border conflict between 2 countries. We rather empower them, help them as much as we can and after the colonizers leave, we can unify the country instead of pursueing this failed strategy. -

Most Recent Massacres Committed by ONLF

^You might know them but the question is, who was behind that incident? What does ONLF get by killing these civil servants? Please, answer my earlier question. How many civil servants did ONLF kill in the last 15 years since they were ousted out of their offices by Tigrey militia? If they have never killed one, why now? -

Yes i know some attacks are true here. These two in Jigjiga is true and i was in Addis at the time. That so called the president was preaching in a ceremony with hundreds of people gathered but unfortunately many of them died and injured coz of that blast. It was kinda tragic among the civilians. JB, give me 1 single civil servant that ONLF killed since it started the armed struggle..15 years now? NONE. Sxb, ONLF does not target civilians or civil servants. Its against ONLF policies to fight in the cities too so the Tigrey mecernaries were behind that blast. Did you know the blast did not kill even one single person? Once the bomb went off, the tigrey militia realizing that their target (Lugbuur) was not killed, started opening fire in the crowd and shooting him numerious times. If ONLF wants to kill Lugbur, it won't take that long to kill him. The truth is, there is no reason for killing him and they wont kill him. Its Tigrey's policies to arm tribal milita and send them to fight ONLF. Many times, ONLF tries to avoid but sometimes they have no choice but defend themselves. JB, being in Addis does not make you more informed than anyone. I have reliable sources both in Jigjiga even in the Somali Region Admin and also in ONLF. Only un-informed will fall for these basless propaganda. Jimcaale, these guys are just macaanjecel. I personally know Mawliid's brother and he knows that his brother used to be Derg mecenaries and now is just another daba-dhilif. Since aad reer MN tahay, shaahu waa korkeyga e bal walaalkii aan labadeenu waxyar lasoosheeysano weekendhiga markaas JB warka usoo gudbi hadalka badan iyo daba-dhilif difaaca hanagga daaye e -

As the villagers froze in horror, the soldiers plucked out seven young women, all aged between 15 and 18, and left. The following morning the youngest girl was found. Her body, bloodied and beaten, was hanging from a tree. The next day a second girl was found hanging from the same tree. A third suffered the same fate. The others were never seen again. Days later, a 12-year-old boy from the same village was kidnapped by soldiers and gang-raped. Every night, soldiers would knock on doors looking for women to rape. "I did not want to wait until it happened to my family," said Mrs Mohammed According to accounts from refugees, Ethiopian troops are burning villages, raping women and killing civilians as part of a systematic campaign to drive them from their homes "They caught me and started beating me. They kicked me in the head and hit me with the back of their guns." With his right arm he motions the steady, repetitive smack of the guns against his body. His left arm lies limp on his lap. He has been unable to move it since the attack, his fingers fixed in an ugly formation. "They beat me for two hours," he says, "then I fell unconscious. They thought I was dead so they left me." While in Darfur, aid agencies have been able to establish camps and provide humanitarian support, they have been blocked from setting up operations in the 0caden But while Khartoum's counter-insurgency in Darfur has been described by the US as "genocide" and by the UN as "crimes against humanity", international condemnation of Ethiopia has, so far, been limited. Indeed, the US has given its backing to Ethiopia. America's top official on African affairs, assistant secretary of state, Jendayi Frazer, visited one town in the 0caden last month.

^ I still believe it was a set up and qabil related. Cooley, if she was indeed molested, why would she ask for money? She asked for $50,000 to dismiss the case and did not work out because she thought that she was smart to take the money and not dismiss the case...she was too greedy I think -

Man, I am so excited. The bill was passed and now the next step is the senate. Its a historic day and it went far better than I have ever imagined...Allaa mahadleh. Folks this is the Video and its long almost 3 hrs but its kind of sad that no one was there to represent and speak for the innocent civilians in somalia who are massacred by TFG and E.Military other the Oga-den and HRW reps. I believe the somali diaspora is not doing its job to speak for the voiceless and defenseless somalis back home. It is the least we could do. Its a shame that we cannot even do anything even in the west, so divided. Waxaan noqonay iska noolayaal! Ps. Thanks for sending the letters folks, much appreciated. Pps. I just realized that the link does not work because Oga-den is banned so just go to oga-den.com (no hyphen) and you will find it there. Ladiif
