  1. North Korea confirms 'successful' nuclear test. North Korea has confirmed that it has carried out its third nuclear test, after international monitors detected seismic activity close to the nation's nuclear test site. "A third nuclear test has been successfully staged," the state-run Korean Central News agency said. "The nuclear test was conducted as part of measures to protect our national security and sovereignty against the reckless hostility of the United States that violated our republic's right for a peaceful satellite launch," KCNA said. Read more plus comments Well done my North Korea friends, it is your rights, carry on!
  2. Thanks Daqane for the wonderful pictures, keep them coming, since you are there, we expect a thrilling thread from you on how Mogadishu is flourishing, business wise, security wise, is it easy to roam around without bodyguards, I have noticed many returnees are using their own security guards to watch them when they walk through the streets or even at social gatherings such as Liido, not everyone uses the security guys by the way, but some still want to have them for whatever reason that is there.
  3. ^^ lol Oba, have you seen the part he is avoiding to reply,Oba,my family left everything, in that incident at Suuqa Xoolaha I wrote last night, the only thing my family took with us from our house was rooti, masaasada caanaha for small babies, no caano at all yeah, and one kildhi or ibriiq just in case, that is it, nothing else,I wish we could remember to take the super-looga with us!! Daqane and Raamsade said this: Ciddii hanti laga dhacey caddeymo hala timaato, how is that possible when everyone was running for their life leaving behind everything they own or possess, this is the part that Daqane was avoiding for the whole discussion of this thread, and I have being reading the posts very closely, Raamsade, and Daqane, please explain the point I raised or the bolded text.
  4. I am sorry dear Qansax, I am reer baadiya and happy about it, but I want what I asked you to provide, car bal wakaasee aan kaa haro, you had more than 8 hours to provide me something I can chew, you failed, and you tell me I am reer baadiya, I am indeedd one BIG reer baadiye who happens to have the necessasry documenation to fly the aircraft you mentioned, that is beside the point anyway just informing you, now, I am going to kill our terrible discussion once you give me at least one simple evidence, even if it is one sentence alone, mise waan iska kaa dhaafaa I think it is better inaan iska kaa dhaafo

    Cold-feet!

hog dhurwaa ha ku dhicin, hadaad ku dhacdana qeylo dhaan ha sameenin!
  6. ^^ Haven't listened to that dude about that figure, but he could be referring to those who were living in the Jalalaqsi area(xerada qaxootiga called Dirgows) and surroundings, and were unable to move and got stuck cuz every road leads to militia men control, most of the people escaped but there were others who couldn't make it, it is hard to get figure on this when you have large quantity of people mostly women and children who couldn't make the journey to escape, you will only need to listen to the people who escaped, and you will find yourself in tears, some of the stories are horrifying from one another(the most disturbing one I heard was throwing children and women(after being raped) into the river(wabiga jalalaqsi or Dirgows)) That aside, Hiiraan was indeed a story to some not to be mentioned at all. well, my own family, we were at Suuqa Xoolaha trying to take the route out of Xamar to Balcad way, but militia men were closer and only military of the government at the time from this side of Balcad were the Hiilweyne army, who found themselvs stuck together with their families to take any route out, the Afgoye road was closed, the back one haba sheegin, so the Xamar route passing Suuqa Xoolaha was the only choice, and doing so was the most riskiest of all, you had to use manpower, all the militia men knew about this Hiilweyne army and their hundreds of families, so they were expecting something big bonus to happen and my family got stuck together with other families there for one whole day, I think we numbered nearly a thousand altogether all cramped together on vehicles for those who can find, only few were able to escape to the Ceymiska, only to be surrounded by militiamen from every side at there, another deadly hunting place, stuck there for a night and another day until we escaped to Xerada seven-sevenka, what happened that whole day at Suuqa Xoolaha, I can write a book about it, the vehicle we were in was carrying up to 100 people, it supposed to take only 40 people, I can say in honest, we happen to be only few families who came out alive out of this vehicle, it is hard to forget seeing all the people you knew dying slow death next to you and blood all over your bodies, and seeing them lying on the streets screaming for help and be spared, actually a friend of mine based in Canada is planning to write a book about that particular day, that day was actually nicknamed: Qabrigii .....ka(qabiil name hidden). Glad no one of my family was hurt except a sister who encountered a minor bullet injury, I think we happened to be a lucky family, everyone else that day lost 3-5 children, everyone one lost a father or mother, a child/ren, or both parents, or a whole families wiped out(this was the case for most part of that gruesome day), my father wasn't with us that day though, I think Ilaah baa watey my family,

    Xasuuq 1991

^^ lol Well done Salax for editing the title name and the descriptions, rageedi baad tahey.
  8. ^^ You mean the video link, yeah it is broken but you can correct it lol here it is: or
  9. Thanks for your latest links and pictures, that is one of a huge investment, and most of secured, I would not compare Djibouti to Dubai after 2017, for Djibouti will take the lead on everything, I expect the biggest airport there too. I like the route Djiboutin is taking in terms of economy, what is this to the local people in securing employment, and what is the rate of unemployment if you have any figures, I know data can be hard to obtain due to lack of adequate census etc
  10. Qansax, please care to provide what I asked for and stop jumping around, at this point, it doesn't concern me how many books or newspapers you have read, again, what I asked for is simple, let every Soler and bystander see and read it: What evidence do you have that they did NOTHING, intaas dhib mey kugu tahey, forget about everything else, and address what I am asking you, haye, we are waiting for you!!
  11. Is that all you could come up, take a hike(imisa jir ayaad tahey), let me carry this terrible discussion with you for a moment, what should have they done that they didn't do, any evidence that they did NOTHING, you just need to prove to us that the Somali-Kenyans who were in the government did NOTHING at all, sxb, hog dheer baad isku qodeysaa while in fact your knowledge of this region is zero and its history, all your arguments wuxuu iskugu soo shubmey: They did NOTHING, lets us see your evidence and proof to us they did NOTHING at all, we are waiting for you, dear Qansax, and stop writing phrases like take a hike, it will make you so childish, please
  12. Qansax, Pease have some respect, and stop referring others with qabiil labels, SOL is a platform that is free from qabiil and qabiil labels. If you do care about this Waggalla Xasuuq, do something about it, set up an organization that seeks justice, and get everyone on board instead of blaming other Somalis for the crimes committed by the Kenyan government(even if we have 20 ministers of Somali-Kenyans in the Kenyan Goverrnment, still it is a crime committed by Kenya), Kenya acknowledged that a xasuuq took place, but the fact that the likes of you are yelling about it and blaming other Somalis will not make the Kenyan government open doors for justice and compensation, you are in fact, giving the Kenyan government an easy escape, sooner or later the Kenyan government will say, ooh, this was committed by Somalis, this is in fact what you like to hear, wait and you will hear them saying that. At least, lets respect those ku dhintey.
  13. lool bidaarta is good for qorraxda, check your PM, sxb.
  14. Bilow malaha expression ma ahan standard Somali, waa Af Suuq, ama hadal-qabsi or Hal-heys, the true is, you will never see reer xamar who will use bilow malaha, mar hore ayaan qiyaasey lahjadaada iyo iney ka dhax qeylineyso accent nooc minal Japaan ah oon ku qiyaasey inuu yahey dawacadii socodkeedina hilmaantey kii libaaxana keeni weyday, waana dareemi karaa iney erayada qaarkood wali carrabkaaga qumaati aysan ugu yaaceen, laakin caawa halkaa ha inoo joogto, waa inoo barri iyo saa danbe, sxb, habeen wanaagsan, projecct ayaan diyaarinayaa oo ah cinwaankiisa ama titelekiisa: 'xubnaha banii aadamka iyo kuwa Jinka sidee la isku waafajin karaa: baaritaan ku saleysan argagax iyo fajac aan shaahid u ahaa'. sxb, hadaad igala qeeb qaadaneyso soo dhawoow, I will give you literature review on this.
  15. War anu ma xanaaqo dee, see kaa noqotey, have you seen my avator horta, si fiican ma ugu fiirsatey what I am doing there in my avator, some even called my dancing there luga qallooc malmalaado and other names such as jiis or laangadhe, lugahaad ka xanuunsantahey, dhabar ma lihid ooma istaagi kartid, waad dhac dhaceysaa khamriya cab, and other names, all by SOL members, waxaas kama xanaaqo, lool hada ka dib leertaan ku siini eee ii qas nooh waxyaalaha qaarkood, war wax kastoo SOL ka dhaco anigu wey i khuseeyaan dee, everything, from the 'lades lets exchange recipes' to Rudy's topic '3 xalimo ayaa i karbaashey in LA' and that latest topic of yours that depicts Ngonge of belonging to a Mormon Cult.
  16. Qofka saaxiibka saxda kuu ah unbaa khaladaadkaaga garan kara, car wakaasee qof kale ha ku dhaho saas maxaad u sameesay, they want you inaad beerta gasho ood sii waalato, marka my advise is of a true friendship, wax fahan
  17. Abu Salman, salaams sxb, any idea when is the best time to visit Djibouti, weatherwise, kuleelka saa'idka ah bidaarteyda uma fiicna, madaxaa i dhalaali even hadaan koofiyad xirto, waa horey timahaygu ingageen kolka taas ka hadal ma leh, I am considering a visit there as soon as I finalize some projects I am doing right now, other than weather,am comfortable with the way of life in African country, and there, my own people, so dhib ma jiro, hawada unbaa ii daran, I know iney kuleel saa'id tahey Jabuuti all the time, but not sure hada iney winter time ku jiraan, winter as in 25-30 degree is OK for me
  18. ^^ Ceeb Caleyk yaa Alpha, leave the woman alone, please, you were not even born when the 'Landcruiser gado' song came in, and yet you had the nerve to talk about her, niyahow our friendship khattar ha galin, shalayto you were defending women and someone called you feminist spokesman, and now your reputation for protecting the women is in disaster, please!
  19. What a classic piece of video, thanks for sharing. Is Saado the only person you recognized, how about Faadumo qaasim Hilowle(AUN) who came after Saado Cali,
  20. I am sorry, I can't share my secret ingredients with you, not now, and not on this forum, remember, xalwad is a very secret, even you can find online ingredients but it is not the full recipe, so hook up with a relative who knows how, anigu waxeyga hada waa lacag, no bilaash, sxbnimo business ma gasho
  21. Okey, here is the recipe: Saffron fake ah as you said Bur qamadi qalleel ah cusbo kuusan saliid fadhido sokor macaan laheyn sokor macaan leh qaado ashuun or digsi cad ibriiq biyo kuleel ku jiraan istaraasho aloore ah sasamiindo isbataanya jilicsan isgoronyo burcad adeeg ah istaango qolofta liinta oo dhagdhag ah biyaha maliindo maliindada ah moolto fitamiina farmaajo masoonyo ka sameesan iskalaaji baceysan saacad ama timer ah kal iyo mooyo for breaking nutmeg heyl abaarsadey moosha-kaarbo shandad Let me know if you want the instruction, from this time, I will have to charge you
  22. Can you get Saffron, 1gram costs around £26, it is not necessary but it makes your xalwad stand from any other xalwad, so if you were going to use Saffron to make your xalwad special how are you going to get good margin on it, not all xalwad have saffron but this is a unique ingredient, that is why it is so expensive
  23. ^^ lool so you are $2 away from my $80 figure, now tell the likes of Alpha who avoids airports and uses Wajaale just to pay $10 to a checkpoint police. Coofle malaha minister of aviationkaa dhaley
  24. lol Malika, yes it is Xalwad, honestly, when you have all the ingredient then it all comes an easy job, the hard part is during the cooking where you will have to walaaqid till the end, this is the part I hate most. I even made my job easy with the preperation too, I had divided the ingredients into 4 sections, like each section with multiple ingreidents combined to it and ready to go, ingredients that you are combining and mixing must suit each other, in less than 5 minutes, all preparation can be done and ready to go. Will not do it any time soon, wali muruqii aan ka qaadey ayaa wali igu jiro
  25. Can I say I know how to COOK xalwad, a professional one that is, did it 3 times, first time no one believed me and was accused of buying it from suuqa, second time, everyone was present, third time noogu celiya ayaa la iyiri we want more, then fourth time, I say no, I am too tired, it is a hard job and involves lots of muscle streching and walaaqid.
