  1. Dabbaashu qofkey dhibeyso unbaa ilmada sii daaya kolkuu arko jiilkii la da'da ahaa oo sidii lulumo biyaha u muquuranaya ama u tiimbanaya meel dhow iyo moolba.
  2. It all started yesterday, 12/04/2013, time was 00:30, or Thursday midnight at Addis Ababa Airport, I knew there was some sort of conference was supposed to happen in Turkey. Siilaanyo and myself happened to be on the same flight from Addis Ababa to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-800 Series, Siilaanyo's entourage numbered around 12, what I thought of his Marwada or First Lady was with him, there was nin indhoole ah Sheikh who accompanied Siilaanyo all the time, 2-3 advisors, the rest were Journalists from Somaliland's main government press etc, all dhallinyaro between 23-28, except one old man, all wearing big vests that bear the name SOMALILAND PRESS at the back and the Somaliland Flag at front. As a Frequent Flyer with Turkish Airlines, I happen to be at the business class with my Gold Elite membership, there were only 10 business class seats available and 5 First Comfort Seats(5 giant seats all seated by some cadaan diplomats), Siilaanyo's entourage filled the economy class where most passengers were seated, all the journalists were in the economy class, Siilaanyo, and the First Lady, the sheikha indhoolaha ah, them three occupied the business class. Busines Class and Comfort seats are configured at the last minute and any economy class peolpe who want to upgrade their seats can request at least 10 minutes before boarding time. There were two seats between myself and President Siilaanyo(the only business class seats not booked). From the start, when boarding started, and people were lining up to enter the aircraft or were in the waiting area, Siilaanyo's entourage were the last to enter the plane to avoid unnecessary long quees or fans snapping the president, that is understandable but most of the passengers were foreigners, the number of Somali passengers were only 6, women with children etc, so no Somali noticed this is Siilaanyo and his associates, and ajnabi hadalkooda iskaba daa. To make this long trip story very short, I first recognized Siilaanyo's face when I happened to be one of the last to board the aircraft, to avoid distracting him I decided not to bother greeting him during the boarding time and wait until half way to Istantbul, all his entourage except the marwada and ninka sheikha indhoolaha all boarded earlier as their group number were called to make the boarding process easier and smooth in the economy class. At this point, Siilaanto, Marwada, and ninka indhoolaha ah were walking slowly and getting into the plane, I was just right ahead of them not looking back, we all got seated, aircraft prepared for take off, and soon we were in the air until the aircraft leveled in the air and seat belt signs were switched off, this is an automatic switch off signs generated by the aircraft system. As soon as the seat belt signs were switched off, here comes one of the journalists who was seated in the economy class, he ran through to the business class, he was a young age and the only person who was walking down the aisle at the time, he approached the president, and before he could say anything, the intercome microphone announcement said: "Please be seated" in Turkish and in English, the young journalist looking confused wanted to carry on with his mission, then the president Siilaanyo of Somaliland said to the journalist: "Waryaa miyaanan edeb iyo anshax xumo lagu barin waa adigan ordaya une", the boy looking more confused replied, "haye Madaxweyne waa inoo hadhow", Siilaanyo replied "hadhowdaada mooyaanee mar danbe ha ii imaan". The aircraft at the time was trying reach to reach more altitude level but its nose was not upward and trying to avoid the Ethiopian highlands which made the aircraft unbalanced sometimes, the boy went back to his seat, the flight crew were all seated, all eyes on this young man at the time. President Siilaanyo continued talking about the journalist, "waxan oo kale ayey na soo raacinayaan oo sidii inuu waalanyahey dusha inooga soo dhacaya", business class seats are huge and one seat for one customer for comfort, the sheikha indhoolaha was seated in the next seat to the right while Siilaanyo, and marwada were seated next to each other on their own seats on the left. Marwada replied to Siilaanyo, "khaladka waxaa iska leh kuwa soo lugooyey ee yiri raac madaxweynaha", Siilaanyo replied,"Ma sidan ayaan howl ku wadeenaa hadii kolba dhinac inalooga soo dhaco". I just switched on my video intercom entertainment to start watching the latest movies available, and avoided any eye contact with the president until we are half way and relaxed, Siilaanyo looked very tired due to the early coming of the airport for security checks like anyone else at the time. The flight crew started serving first the business class people as they have more rights, we were given little flyers that contained the special menus available to us, first they served us with fruits and Turkish Delights Macmacaan iyo cabitaan sharaab ayyi nooc ah. Siilaanyo was very tired and as quickly as he had his cabitaan and macmacaan he just had a nap, then after 10 minutes, the flight crew started saying "Sir, Sir, Sir, what would you like to eat", Siilaanyo looking confused and not decided what he would eat replied "chicken, chicken, chicken PLEASE", she replied "fried chicken or boiled", Siilaanyo continued "chicken chicken chicken", the flight crew lady left and came back with two different dishes of chicken menu. Siilaanyo and the marwada had their food, and flight crew were serving us every few minutes to make sure business class people stay happy and satisfied. There is a curtain block between economy class and business class, what I thought of as an adviser to Siilaanyo came to the president and said "madaxweyne cunta fiican ma cuntey, wax aad u baahantahey miyey jiraan", Siilaanyo oo xanaaqsan ayaa yiri "ilmihii yaraa eed igu soo deysay muxuu ahaa", markaas ayuu yiri the adviser "Madaxweyne waxa uu ka socdaa shabakada SomalilandPress.com", Siilaanyo replied "meeshuu doono ha ka socdo yaa yiri dayuuradoon wali lugaha laaban ka soo kac kursiga oo uu anigu iigu yimaadey kursigeyga, muxuu raadinayey inankaa yar". At this time, I was busy with my macmacaan and stuff, and movie, and was wondering what the adviser was doing at the economy class, then I realized it is good to save some money as business class seats can cost as much as few thousands and we are in a recession time. The adviser went back, can't tell whether he approached the SomalilandPress.com guy or not, but people were walking down the aisle to make themselves fresh and the bathroom. We are now halfway to Istanbul, and everyone is relaxed, I had one movie already finished watching it, president Siilaanyo had one hour sleep, and he started feeling fresh by standing up to make himself more relaxed by looking around the business class people who happened to be all cadaan and some Arab, Madaxweynaha then looked at me while he was standing there and smiled, I smiled back at him by waving my hand while seated(hope this is not anshax xumo but didn't wanted to bother greeting him fully at this stage). Madaxweynaha then went back to his seat, then after 10 minutes the Marwada stood up and started walking to the aisle in the business class, anoo ka faa'iideysanayo this opportunity ayaan kursigeygi ka soo kacey and went straight to him asagoo kursigiisa fadhiyo and started saying "Madaxweyne asalaamu calaykum", wuxuu ku jawaabey "*****aykum wasalaam waraxmatulahi wabarakaatuhu" asagoo dhoola cdeynayo, waxaan ku iri "mar horaan ku arkey waana ka xishoodey inaan adoo daalan ku salaamo ee iga raali ahow madaxweyne magacayga waa hebel waxaana matalaa dhallinyaro cuslaatey oo Soomaali ah ee dagan wadanka Ireland", "wax dhiba ma jiraan adeer protokoolkana aad baad u taqaanaa waad i maqleysay baan filayaa kii inta ka soo boodey kursigiisa ee halkan igu yimid", I said "haa waan arkayey laakin wuu iska baran doonaa", then he said "goormey baranayaan waxan iyo wax ka daranba wye sameeyaan", Then we continued and talking about Ireland and Northern Ireland, at one point, I said to him "Madaxweyne waanu kugu casuumeenaa dalka Ireland markaad firaaqo hesho", wuxuu yiri madaxweynaha "waan idin kugu iman mar Inshaa Allaahu", Marwada came back and I said to the president "safar kheyr qabo Ilaah ha inooga dhigo kan", Siilaanyo said "aamiin, aamiin" asoo dhoola cadeynayo, I went back to my seat, and flight crew were busy again serving us as the time for landing was getting near. At arrival, an ugly scene happened, which was not expected at all, will narrate it when I get some time Inshaa Allaah.
  3. Norf, these people they love their country, xataa if the country falls, you hardly see looting or institution destruction, the basics ayaa la barey at an early age, when you love your country, land and people, then you are more organized to face a common enemy, in this case, Soomaalida! I was in some Tigrey regions and other places settled by other races of itoobiyaanka, and wax saas kuu fiirinaayo ma jiro xataa hadaa jidka iska socoto saq dhexe habeenkii, compare to that walking in Jigjiga iyo meelaha kale ay guumeestaan, waaba lagu qalan on daylight forget about habeenkii, few times dhuundheerta la igu dhagey recently
  4. Norf, Ethiopia is developing fast, at a higher speed that even prompted the interference of Some European countries by saying, waraada is dajiya nooh xagee u socotaan camal, but nothing is taking place in dhulka Soomaalida laga guumeesto even though they have a federal state like any others such as Oromia, Tigranya and Afarinya, the worst case is dhulka Soomaalida, no real development at all, and dadka guumeesi lee iskaga jiraan camal,
  5. Ngonge Lucas ayuu ku khafiifey but he has a point hehe I haven't seen that PSG one recently Liverpool ma sidan bey doonayaan iney fourth place ku galaan, would be miracle hadey CL galaan by winning the remaining matches loool@ laba meelood ku murmeysaa, Facebook buu raaxada kaaga qaadey miyaa
  6. ^^ Xitaa Juxa garan meyso what is whisper in Somali, you thought iney Juxa sidii waagii hore Soomaaliga u taqaano, Norf ayaa ka badiyo hada heheh First in for the African continent, in Nazreth now, the land of Oromia, where you have a bank in every 50 meters of walk
  7. In that case, adina waa ku jirtaa kuwa waalan, ha iska saarin camal abaabiina
  8. My name is Galib Ramathan I, Galib Ramathan declare that the Story mentioned is true My name is Galib Ramathan. I was born in Mogadishu, Somalia on January 1st, 1981. I am sick I have a mental problem I am not feeling well, I suffer mental illness called Schizophrenia; I am unable to work or to go to school. Presently, I am taking a medication. 2 Today I am not in good health. I am emotionally handicapped due to civil war in Somalia. My mental was affected by the civil war in Somalia. I have been sick for the past 22 years since in 1991. 3 Presently, I am living in Canada. I don't have a life in this country. I spend thinking about myself of not knowing what to do. I can't eat properly and I cannot sleep because of the stress. 4 Since when I was six years old I started my education for elementary school in Somalia. I finished but I didn't complete my secondary Education because of the political situation in my country Somalia. When the military government collapsed since that time we don't have a central government since in 1991. 5 When I was six years old, I was enrolled in the Madarasa, I was taught Qur'an in the evenings and consequently started my formal schooling. 6 In the city of Mogadishu, a young girl was my neighbor when I lived in Somalia. This young girl went one day to the market place to buy goods. While she was in the market, a missile was launched in their home where the rest of her family lived. She was fortunate because she was not in the house when the missile hit them. She lost her family. This tragedy happened in December 1990. However, when we released that a missile has been launched 7 We walked up to the garage that was closer to us, which was situated in the city of Afgoye, about 30 km south of Mogadishu, Somalia. The owner of this garage was a religious man. Who offered us a place to stay, While we were there, we stayed one night, and next morning we took a bus from Afgoye to Mudul Barawe, where we stayed other night, next morning we took a bus, which was we existed on un-cooked rice and some water. Always, when we meet new people we were told the war is getting worse 8 the civil war intensified and heavy guns were heard everywhere and we were unable to get charcoal and gas to cook our food. In the city of Kismaya there were dead bodies on the streets and roads everywhere, it was difficult to travel alone in the street of Kismayo 9 When the gunfire stopped in Kismaya, we took a car that was going to Libay, Kenya. When we reached Libay, Kenya we lived there for four months. We existed, the little assistance we received from the UNHCR workers who used to tell us to lines up for food, so to get our rations. In addition, we stayed long lines in order to receive little water. 10 I hope that the fighting stops soon. One day. I hope to be able to go back. I want to use what I have learned here to help rebuild my country. However I like my country Somalia nobody hates his country. I like my people but I can't do anything for them but every time I pray I beg God for my country Somalia. 11 I never suffered any disease or illness when I was in Africa it doesn't matter what part of Africa 12 Somalia is a poor country however everybody is happy and healthy nobody worries about anything because there is no stress, frustration and depression. I never took a medication in my life when I was in Africa it doesn't matter what part of Africa 13 When we were in Somalia, we had faith and strong culture. In My view people nowadays don't have faith. I have overcome many problems, because I prayed so to beg God for my country. Today we cannot go back to Somalia unless the situation changes. 14 The late president of Somalia was Mohamed Siad Barre. He died in 1995, in Nigeria with heart Attack. Mohamed Siad Barre he became president in 1969. Mohamed Siad Barre, the last Somali dictator, the country for 22 years. 15 In my viewpoint, Mohamed Siad Barre, he was great president of Somalia. Look at Somalia now it had no peace. 16 I am experiencing a lot of terrible things back home in Somalia. I am the lucky one thanks God His Grace in His mercy. 17 I used to live in Dar-Es Salaam, Tanzania for 18 years ago before I arrived in Canada that time I was healthy and strong but now I am not 18 If I remember how we lived in Tanzania sometimes I cry. Tanzanian people most of them are Muslims and every corner is mosque and you hear the prayer. 19 Tanzania is a poor country however everybody is happy and healthy nobody worries about anything because there is no stress, frustration and depression. 20 Then I was in Africa I never took medication in my life it was my first time I had seen a good life. Somalia became independent in 1960 21 Today I am not living in the right place at this moment that means I don't live in Muslim country. The people living in Tanzania they know more about Islam because they are living in the right place. 22 Islam cares much for maintaining the highest level of social solidarity and strength among the members of the society. It goes without saying that spending money on charitable deeds, such as helping the needy, alleviating the pains of the distressed and support those who are in need will be upon them in this world and hereafter. 23 Safwan ibn Salim related that the prophet said; anyone who looks after and works for a widow and a poor person is like a warrior fighting for Allah’s cause, or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all night (Bukhari) Anas related that the prophet said; if any Muslim plants something or sows seed from which a man, a bird or an animal eats, it counts a charity for him. (Bukhari, Muslim) 24 Abu Hurairah (May Allah Be pleased with Him) reported; the prophet (peace Be upon Him) said, one who strives to help the widows and the poor is like who fights in the way of Allah, The narrator said; I think that he (Prophet (PBUH) added also; I shall regard him as the one who stands up (prayer without rest as the one who observes fast continuously (AL-Bukhari) 25 Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) says have mercy on those upon the earth; and Allah will have mercy on you? 26 Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) says you have to pray five times a day and you have to pay the Zakat and you have to fast the month of Ramadan and you can go Hajj if you can afford? 27 This life is only for temporary, this is not the real life, the real life will be started when you die, and before you die you need to get good deeds before the date of judgment. Whatever good deeds you get in this world you will get hereafter. 28 Now I am a poor social support in Canada. I am not will be able to get enough money to survive there. There is no agency or governments assist me financially. 29 Tanzania has a beautiful Island called Zanzibar and beautiful Indian Ocean and beautiful Lakes called Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria and beautiful Mountain called Kilimanjaro Mountain. Kilimanjaro Mountain is the highest mountain in this world. 30 If Somalia had a peace we would like to go back to Somalia there is no better place than Somalia for us. 31 I would like to be independent in my life I want to get a better life in the future. Home and country is the best

  10. The only issue I have with Somali Women marrying reverts is that they NEVER stop talking about Somali Men, nimanka soomaalida waa saan, waa sidaan, waa ....................... this usually happens when they are in deep trouble with their white dwarfs, waa la is fahmi waayey markaas ay nimankii Soomaalida ku qaraarayaan. How about Somali Men marrying white ladies, yaa guursadey gaal istaaga ku gaajeyso.
