    Welcome back!

Ngonge, lool, dat can't be true, AU is legend , whereas AT&T is veteran, both are experts of special designated fields(am not applying girls here as good Malika did) Funny how AT&T asked me one time, who is this AU that SOL talks about all the time, so in that regard, labadooduba waan is bari rabaa si ay madaxa iskula galaan(it would be good encounter) PS: AT&T is in Diredawa, he said he will be there next week, but he was spotted in there the other day

  3. expansion to it’s runways to accommodate 747 , 767 jets and the new A380 . Are you sure about this yaa JB, because you need hundredhs of millions to do that, we are talking about 747 jumbo jets, unless Chineese contractors are hired, and hundredhs of millions spent, or maybe people are confusing fokker-40 with 747 As for 767 jets, they vary in size, so I would say the smaller size 767-200(181 passengers) can accommodate Hargeisa airport with some difficulties, as for the larger version of 767-300 & 767-400, I am afraid that runway won't fit, and would take years to do such facility, if resources are available(100s of millions), then all is fine. Typical 767 series configuration: This is the A380 double decker which can take upto 800 passengers at one time: I wish Somali airports can build up runways and airports that accommodate such gigantic aircrafts, saying that, the mentioned aviation minister would need to set up special trainign institutions for aviation managements and aeronautical which can employ many people when they graduate. I am actually delighted the progress that Somali Airline Companies are making, specially the newly one(suhura airways) though it had few accidents last year, they can overcome any obstacle and be great carriour, at the moment, they are using propellor turbo engines but of new versions.

  9. What is your own prediction on the draw tomoro? My wild prediction is as follows: Liverpool Vs Bayern Arsenal Vs Barcelona Manchester Vs Chelsea Porto Vs Villareal Dat is the draw, and Villareal will beat porto, Bayern to lose to Lpool, Barcelona to go through, and some heavy stuff on Chelsea United games but too close to call can't say who will go to the Semis, but I will go Chelsea to go. On the semis, the 4 to come out are: liverpool, Chelsea, Villareal, and Barcelona. I can still go on, ok I stop now! What is your prediction?

  13. The President and his delegation are expected to fly back to Somaliland in the coming days after their successful trips to the United Kingdom, Ethiopia and Djibouti. He should be in Hargeisa now, and discussing the internal matters in a more depth way. Successful trips, we know that when a head of state goes overseas trips, they usually secure important business & political connection, did he win the hearts of business companies overseas and made them deal to come to Somaliland etc, or was it just to hand shake Miliband and Fuji Photo the pics online. What is the use of the trips, we all know Riyaale won't share whatever he was promised, either in the UK, or in Ethiopia, he would just say the mission was success. The public should demand detailed information about the trip!!
  14. Is this da same Gabiley which is near Arabsiyo, this town Gabiley ain't cool, dusty and rough, dadka wey xayeysiiyaan un waxna ma yaalo meesha, I was there for 3 hours, and didn't like it at all. Sorry for the folks who hail from Gabiley, meesha magaala kuma heysaan Arabsiyo is much cooler and nicer, but have to say, Gabiley's surroundings is much beauftifull than inside of the town

  16. ADDIS ABABA, March 11 (Reuters) - The African Union (AU) on Wednesday agreed to extend the mandate of its peacekeeping mission in Somalia for another three months. AU troops arrived in the war-torn country in 2007 shortly after an Islamist insurgency broke out. The chairman of the AU Peace and Security Council, Edouard Aho-Glele, said he hoped the United Nations would take over peacekeeping duties in Somalia at the end of that period. "We have also asked the UN Security Council to lift the embargo on armaments to the country in favour of the transitional government of Somalia, to allow it to address the security issues," he told Reuters. The new government of President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, a moderate Islamist, was formed in a U.N.-brokered deal to end 18 years of conflict in the failed Horn of Africa state. A hardline insurgent group, al Shabaab, has vowed to continue attacking the AU troops as long as they remain in the country. Eleven soldiers from Burundi died in an attack last month. Most African nations have been reluctant to send their soldiers to Somalia. Al Shabaab, together with allied militia, control large swathes of southern Somalia including the strategic towns of Baidoa and Kismayu. The government controls only parts of Mogadishu. In a report to the council, AU Commission Chairman Jean Ping said: "I recommend that the council extend the mandate ... including protecting its personnel, installations and equipment and the right of self-defence."
