    AvramGrant is FIRED!!!

^^^Didn't take it the wrong way sxb! Soma Inc the idea of overhauling the team is a great idea especialy when I heard Grant was sucked, as you mentioned drogie and those oldies should be released asap. Hiddink is unlikely to come to Chelsea but Mancini resigned coaching Inter milan and is more likely to come at this stage. However, I did mention some players that chelsea would be interested in another Thread (Transfer Romours). What do you think of these players I stated above.

  7. Well, The 52-year-old Israeli (Avram Grant) found it hard to come to terms with being thrust into the spotlight and although he guided Chelsea into their first Champions League final, the penalty shoot-out defeat in Moscow last Wednesday paved the way for his departure. After two days of meetings, Chelsea confirmed their decision in a statement. It read: 'Chelsea can confirm that Avram Grant has had his contract as manager terminated today. 'Almost is nothing' says Mourinho Jose Mourinho has described Chelsea's season as 'really bad' and insists the London club's campaign could only be described as great by someone with 'the philosophy of a loser'. The former Chelsea boss was speaking before his successor Avram Grant was sacked, but was critical of the 52-year-old Israeli's short stint in charge at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho, when asked if the season had been a good one as depicted by Grant, told The Observer: 'That depends on your philosophy of leadership. 'In my philosophy it was a very bad one because in football 'almost' means defeat and Chelsea almost won the Carling Cup, almost won the Champions League and almost won the Premier League. Almost is nothing. 'After two titles per season for the last three years there were zero titles this season, which in my philosophy means a really bad season. Maybe in the philosophy of a loser this was a great season, which I respect.' Mourinho admitted to being 'very sad' at Chelsea's defeat in Moscow to Manchester United, adding that the supporters, the board and many of the players 'deserve more'. However, he sounded a note of optimism, adding: 'I believe that after an empty season new success will come to Chelsea. And I will always be a Chelsea supporter.' Lol... I felt that jose comments were agreeable to certain extent yet harsh..and loughed for the sake of his poundering at Grant. Soma Inc whats your take on this sxb !

Afro, thank you for removing your post. I did come across this thread and read the first two sentences, felt so bad for those who were described as such then I logged off from SOL. I took a break from SOL wondering why some people still have this VIRUS in their system. You said it was not your own words then thats fine. May ALLAH (sw) remove any hatred within the Somali community away and make them love each other and try to rebuild our country, Ameen Ameen.

And that Drogb should be tought good mannres and attitue, slapping someone on the face, whattttt, what does he think he is anyway. nuune you are a true footballer i believe so ! man what a disappointment....Terry missing the penalty was the worst of all...that guy had worked hard and got himself back to fitness play this game only to end up with making the blunder that let man utd back in the penalty First half ManUre played awesome they played really really well and gave chelsea alot of problems especially when essien was marking C.ronaldo that was our weekest side. Second halves and the extra time we were all over ManUre am sure any footy fan would know this.. we were suppose to go ahead several chances but we didn't take those chances. All in all awesome game from both teams I've never watched chelsea play fantastic football in a final like this before, but in the end we were unlucky to lose it this way....Terry slipping was really bad...poor guy will have sad memories of this day...hope he gets another chance to redeem this in his playing career...great tense game for the neutrals...wasnt a cagey match as the normal fixtures between these two teams has been in the past in the end all i can say is CONGRATULATIONS MAN UTD FOR THE DOUBLE ps. its not meant to be a blue day!!

Legend the players on your wishlist are quality players and finally Arsenal are splashing cash they've got S.nasri just signed and his a superb player but for Benzema i don't think Arsene Wenger can afford him. But for some reason I could not sit in my desk and pretend I didn’t see him, so I got out again went to the local Tesco bought him some food etc a full bag may I just add…went up to him and placed it near him. To my surprise instead of saying thank you he got angry and started cursing me literally in Somali/English/Arabic he then threw the bag at me and had the audacity to tell me did I ask for food? I want MONEY…. haha. how ironic! the guy wanted money for dope.
  15. '' Chelsea Champions League : Road to Moscow" Once the page opens Press the play button and it should work for you. Top quality video.
  16. Footy fans and my fellow compatriots Soma-Inc and Socod badne hmm finally the BIG day is here- Chelsea's first ever Champions league final appearance, win or lose this is going to be the mark of a new era in Chelseas history....hoping it would be a cracker of a contest between two of the biggest team in England as well as Europe at the moment so who is going to be the champions of Europe and possibly the club champion of the world. For Chelsea the defense and midfield need to do the work against the pace and trickery of Man Utd's forwards...Man Utd will have ronaldo, giggs and scholes in the midfield with Carrick taking the defensive mid's duties most probably....i am saying this cos ferguson had earlier said that both scholes and giggs will feature in the CL final in Man utd make it to that stage...anyway regarding Chelsea team it shall be Carvalho and Terry[if fully fit] shall be at the center of our defense with cole taking the LB spot and essien taking the RB spot....this is not a good idea but this has more or less been vindicated with his recent performances playing in that spot....midfield shall be lampard and ballack with our experienced war commander or rather midfield general Makalele dictating the pace...joey and kalou/malouda on the wings with Drogba in the center....malouda cos of his recent performances...kalou cos well he made that position more or less his as Malouda started losing confidence and was a bit off-color... This Line is the best for ManUre. -------------Cech---------------- Essien------Terry-----Ricky------A.Cole Ballack------Maka/Mikel------Lamps J.Cole-----Drogba--------Kalou-- All in all hoping for a BLUE day in moscow.
  17. ^^^ Congrats on winning the Premier league they were prepared from the get go. What will happen if ManUre loose the Champions league?

^^^^ Val, Lol London is rough, youths are really on the edge. Australian Somali youth are on the same route. While I was in London a 15 year old Somali boy was stubbed to death. He was at the bus stop waiting for his bus to go home. Something like that rarely happens in Ozieland.
