There is no goal-keeper at all. That is not to say the short players up front need to be diversified. Bendtner should start and they need another tall striker. ^^ Quiet interesting you mentioned this, Thats one thing Arsenal really lack imo is another type of striker, their forwards are too similar to each other, Van Persie, Arshavin and Eduardo are all similar types of players, I think Arsenal need an out and out pacy striker, perhaps Niang from Marseille would have been perfect for them or perhaps a taller, stronger striker (Carlton Cole maybe). Something to give them a plan B when they are trailing in a game, because Arsenal against any half decent team, seem to fall to bits when they go a goal or two down. Also Arsenal's midfield just caved in and made it far too easy for Chelsea to carve through, I think Wenger is a fine manager but his reluctance to invest in a top quality holding midfielder is baffling, Mahamodou Diarra was allegedly on the market this summer, he would have been perfect imo, he is decent on the ball but can also get stuck in when needs be, this is what Arsenal lack, their centre midfield against the big teams is simply too soft, vs United last week and this week has proven this.
  2. GOONS had all the possession because Chelsea weren't interested in closing them down. We made no attempt on winning the ball back for most of the match, just holding, shaping and letting Arsenal do their tippy-tappy passing in front of us. And that seems to be enough for most Arsenal fans. It makes you the "better side", and whoever just comfortably beat you was lucky to do so after they had so much possession. Arsenal shouldn't complain though. The manager and the players never learn a thing, and it means they're not a threat when it comes to the major trophies. Long may the neat little triangles continue. BTW - Clichy has looked a lot better this game. Nasri though - just looks like a little boy in a mans world. Ivanovic looks like he would put him on a salad and eat him for lunch. Difference between the two teams was once again Drogba. Why do ChewlseaY even bother play the other 10 players. Arsenal fans probably dread the sight of Drogba by now. PS: I hope Matt Damon enjoyed the match though.
  3. ^^heh, working on a Sunday! nOrf and JB getting paid double and a half an Hour eh. NICE!
  4. KEY STATS: Didier Drogba has scored 10 goals against Arsenal in nine starts and two substitute appearances since joining Chelsea in 2004. PS: I expect total football with all the trimmings.
  5. ^^ Every player in a red shirt earned his corn today, even Maxi did his share of tracking back, etc. 10/10 for them all, especially Insua/Carra/Lucas/Kuyt. You finally saw the 4th spot, although only for a short time, its a big confidence boost I guess. Originally posted by NGONGE: P.S Did you hear about Avram Grant and the massage parlour? His wife is one hell of a loyal nutcase. I wonder if any Thai girls done the *ping-pong ball trick* His wife said; she laughed when Avram telephoned her with the news yesterday. 'It's nobody's business what he does with his body - he can get Thai massage anytime and anyhow,' she declared. 'I don't understand all the fuss. Avraham (his full name) loves massages, also Australian massage and Japanese massage, as well as having massages from Thai women. 'What Avram and I say behind closed doors is nobody's business. Not even our definition of what it means to live as a couple. If I suspect that my husband actually went to a brothel - that's just between me and him. 'I swear on my children's lives that I am not mad at him. If I am mad, it is because he does not get massages every day.' Realistically, nobody expected anything else from this actress-turned-exhibitionist who has gone into detail about how she was sexually harassed by a neighbour when she was aged nine. She had lived with Grant in London and accompanied him to every match while he was managing Chelsea - one of Europe's most glamorous sides.
  6. These days, when you hear John Terry's playing at the Bridge you get a bit confused. Does that mean he's at home or playing away? oi WingA, you always come on SOL when your team is flying. ^^that dude in the middle will do wonders this weekend. He will score the winning goal.
  7. ^^ So you are comparing a keeper who scored an own goal against his own team to a brilliant header scored by Altidore whose physicality is as drogba. {apparently Altidore was hanging on JT when he scored the header) hehe. Most people seem to agree Cech hasn't looked brilliant for a while now. In saying that he has still been too good a keeper to even consider leaving out of a Chelsea squad. But is he now? YES, his back to his not so good as he was but definitely better than Almunia, Ask any GOON fan if he'd accept a swap deal and see what they'd say.. I really rate Cech he has saved a match on many occasions. but do we have to point a finger on him if the blunder comes from a set piece?
  8. I really needed those 4 points, Hopefully back on track next match. Gave the ball away too much. Hull more than deserved a point so well done to them - great goal by Drogba but he did look rusty. We need to improve defensively but to be honest, I'm not too concerned about Arsenal - they're also pretty poor.. Thought JT did himself proud last night. Took some stick from the fans (well football is about banter) but he was rock solid as ever and against Altidore it will one of the more physical strikers he faces this season. Well done JT. Now u best go sort your marriage out pal.
  9. eh Tanzania have gone too far, are they this xuux? This video clip is a Hello everybody, I guess Uk just woke, my day has finished. CheelseaY vs Hull tonight. hmmm then GOONS(this weekend) another hammering would be appreciated thanks.

  11. Mcdonald Mariga's move from Parma to the Premier League is off. The Kenyan international midfielder was a target of Manchester City, but work permit issues have prevented a deal from being completed. Parma's general manager Pietro Leonardi had told the Italian media on Monday: "We hope that this case will be resolved. We should have some update from England briefly.'' Mariga joined Parma on a permanent basis in the summer of 2008, after initially moving on loan from Helsingborgs, Ouch! Source. Now here is real talent....Go Mariga!
  12. NG-Goons conceded 14 goals at home this season....14 Compared to; Villa, Birmingham 7 Utd, Chelsea, Fulham, Spurs 8 Liverpool 11 Blackburn 12 Stoke, Sunderland 13 Tell me something new sxb.comparing Cech (a world class keeper) to Almunia? Almunia & Denilson, are simply not good enough for Arsenal, Almunia would be lucky to get into a relegation side.
  13. nOrf, His an A grade oxygen thief. He has recently been linked with receiving payments for taking associates around private Stamford Bridge tours; and now the quite disturbing news that he has not only cheated on his wife, but with the partner of one of his former team mates. What an utter classless, devoid of moral scumbag. If Ancelloti or Capello have any balls, they will strip him of the captaincy of both Chelsea and England. It makes no sense to ban him from playing thou. The funny thing is, the bloke probably does not give a sh*t.
  14. ^^ his leaving lets be nice. Marx you will find her IA. Farewell is what you say to someone who you don't expect to see again. It means may you fare well - may you be happy and successful. It's quite a dramatic thing to say to someone, even on your deathbed, but friends who were parting for what they knew to be at least a very long time would say it. It has the air of finality you say you are looking for. What would you say to a grandparent who was dying, and you both knew it and had talked about it, and you had to leave him or her? Don't you think good-bye or so long might sound a little insufficient? Why use Farewell we aren't dead yet.
  15. A successful side will never be built with Almunia in goal. I'm not just reacting to the first goal yesterday, but since he came in , he's not in the same class as Seaman or Lehmann and is just not good enough for a top side with title aspirations. Did you see his pass straight to the opposition just outside the penalty box in the second half? The pass to him was not good in the first place, but that is school boy stuff. The problem is, AW has had all summer and all of January to get a new GK. Difficulty is, AW has ultimate faith in Alumnia, and he has two other keepers whom I think he rates highly as well. Problem is, Mannone is too young, and Fabianski, IMHO is no better than Alumnia. It all comes back to AW not wanting to spend a cent. I sometimes feel that Wenger at times pays more attention to the business of money rather than the trophies of football. if GOONS end up with another trophyless season, however good a manager he is, i think that it may be time they got rid of him and brought in a manager that will spend money and get rid of some of the non performing players. What was wrong with Arshavin? Does he save his goals for us or something? His finishing was awful. Excellent performance by Utd. They fully deserved it. Wayne Rooney is unplayable this year. Gunners just weren't at the races today. Utd were fantastic. God it hurts to say that but credit where credit is due. PS: I betcha LOZ still, can't get over the manor of the defeat, he couldn't even eat his corn flakes this morning.

  17. Am watching the African cup final, while flipping the channel to ManYoovsGoons. 16:00 GMT both matches PS:Togo have been banned from the next two editions of the African Nations Cup because of "governmental interference" in their decision to pull out of the 2010 tournament. I think that's rubbish.
  18. 4 points clear, I need some space here. Now Goons do some some damage for me. PS: I think the fact JT screwed Bridge's partner at the time has a lot to do with why his indiscretions should be given far more weight. F you would not leave your toothbrush around while JT is in the dressing room.
  19. So you did everything yet you couldn't get the precious SOL princess, well there is a few things that went wrong me think. a) your purpose for joining SOL was mainly to seek a woman. b)The whole world knowing you are on youtube with your crappy eurotrash crap. One more thing if you couldn't find her, does it mean you have to leave SOL? are you emotionally hurt seeing her around that you can't be around. Dude man up, it shouldn't be about her that you are here. Man is a softtie for sure. my advice man up or be a coward/loser. Besides get going mate, all I see from you is Threads about YOU YOU , Marx this Marx that. bax dheh PS: Don't take this in a bad way sxb
