^ ^ Hey you, you've been away for some time, how are ya doing. It may be the best game of the tournament if both teams plays as they know. Germany will want the revenge of the euro, but won't be easy. Spain are not playing as the were 4 months ago, mainly because some of our key players are still recovering from injuries (Torres, Cesc, Iniesta & Xavi) but are improving each day (especially the last two) and despite we haven't had a comfortable game so far, we have dominated every one. if Germany is able to press Spain as the other teams, they have the edge and should win comfortably as they are amazing up front, but if they allow our midfield to play, they will be demolished. For Germany Müller is out, for Spain, Cesc is dubious (shoulder problem during the not given penalty) and Puyol, Alonso and Ramos are probable despite they have some problems. Head to head record is 8W for Germany, 6W for spain, 6ties. The only time we have met in KO stages in a major tournament was in the euro final, 1-0 for Spain. The last time we met in the WC was in USA94, 1-1 in the group stages. Should be a beauty.

Some folks have stoop so low, this is disturbing. Its not the message we want to send really. PS: Grow up folks.

AT&T: Few people thought Germany will hammer England. Even less thought Germany will rape Argentina, and even less thought Netherlands may beat Brazil. One important thing is when you play teams that allows you to do what you best know how to do. So far Spain hasn't played such opposition that tried to play football, but Germany is actually a team that plays and allows to play, and if they allow SPAIN to play they'll be hammered. PS: you can't just resign from sports section, it's either we take your life or stay with us. We'r family afterall. (Mafia style)

Relieved the ESPANA boys won. I just wonder if it'll be the reverse to the norm. Usually it's the Germans, or the Italians, that labour till the later stages and then knock out the team that's been hammering everyone. Germany beating Argentina at the last World Cup for example. And it's usually Spain or Holland that get knocked out after flying starts, whereas both have already got further than usual without playing the sort of football they usually do. Other than Holland's second-half showing yesterday, anyway. So a Spain-Holland final?

Schweiny is on fire at this WC. Germany are an amazing TEAM. He's been outstanding, but the only thing you could say is he's had so much space to run the midfield against disorganised Australia, England and Argentina sides. If Maradona had a clue and had Cambiasso on there alongside Mascherano and if Australia were shaped up properly in midfield then it would have been more of a leveller. Scheweinsteiger won't have free reign to control the midfield against Spain in the semis. They did to Argentina exactly what they did against us. Defended in numbers and counter attacked to devastating effect. Podolski, Klose, Ozil, Schweinsteigger ... absolutely brilliant to watch. Ps: hoping for a Spain Germany final.... mouth watering. Pss: Bye Bye Diego you fat cheating piece of shit. Take your cheating team home with you. Brilliant Germany.

You are a sick person.

Jacfar and this is what pantsil said Lol. John Pantsil: "There is no chance that any of us Ghana players would have used our hand to stop the ball - no way." The handball off the line by Suarez was cheating and whilst Ghana will feel rightly cheated out of a semi final place its swings and roun****uts and every team cheats at some point and most players would have taken one for the team in that situation. Change the rules. Like rugby has penalty tries, something like this should be a 'penalty goal'. Argentina aren't up to much really. They were always going to rely on individual talent, rather than great team organisation and that doesn't win you World Cups. They need Messi or Tevez to pull something out the bag second half. Next goal - if there is one - will swing it. 2-0 and it's game over. 1-1 and it's back in the balance. I can see Germany seeing the game out. It looks like Germany will go through, yet one of the best creative players (Mueller) in the tournament is missing for a semi-final because of a ridiculous rule. If you get booked in all 3 group games then fair enough issue a one-match ban. And if you're going issue suspensions then you should be able to appeal the yellow. Findley, the American lad, missed a game because of two yellow cards, when one of the yellow cards was given to him after the ball twatted him in the face! Feel for Mueller, never a yellow and now the boy misses a potential semi final and a shot at the golden boot.Whoever makes this stuff is clearly clueless. I don't understand what this rule is supposed to achieve. There is half a dozen German players on yellows according to the commentary, you have to think they'll lose at least one more before its over.

^ ^ Lol@ Tacsi to AT$T Congratulations Netherlands!!! Fully deserved and hopefully you will make the final! Thou my predictions was wrong. Robben's diving all over the place is disgusting. Other than that well played to the Dutch, especially in the second half. They controlled the midfield and made some great tackles in their own half. Great performances from De Jong and Van Bommel. Disappointing performances everywhere for Brazil. Kaka is nowhere near where he was in 2007 and should not be considered one of the world's best. Completely outclassed by Sneijder. Also, it's a shame that Elano was hurt because Dani Alves was absent for the most part. Finally, other than his through ball Felipe Melo was awful to the surprise of no one. And what about Julio Cesar being the best keeper in the world? Just goes to show Brazil dont have it easy, being the biggest favourite at most WCs, its a huge burden when u think about it, and probably affected them in this game. PS: Dunga has resigned already. Goooooo Ghanaaaa!!!

Forget about the "D", are you the one with the broken front tooth in the second pic or the one with the chunky cheeks in the last pic? surely both are attractive.

Should we have technology in football? Yes, right now or No, never

I'm completely fed up of all this diving and *****ing the modern day players do, it's seriously doing my head in. Also incredibly fed up that such massive mistakes are allowed to occur due to some fat old blatter refusing to implement goal line technology. TWO huge refereeing blunders, it damages the modern sport. Go Spain! Go Villa! Have to say this is now where Quieroz's poor squad selection could prove very costly, to not take a replacement for Deco who is the chief centre midfield creator was a major mistake as this game is showing. If you are relying on Tiago and Mereles in midfield for creativity then you have problems, Ronaldo is getting no service and support, a player like Moutinho or Carlos Martins from Benfica would have been ideal here to pass the ball and create chances. Taking Almeida off was a silly mistake too, I rate him as a player and he has a physical presence up front as well as a decent touch. Llorente should start next game ahead of Torres, he is fitter, fresher, not carrying a knock and his physical presence can unsettle defenders, you dont have to resort to kick and hoof with him but he is a useful option to have and he can give you a Plan B and given his height at set plays he is a threat too. Good performance by ESPANA, Villa again scores the only goal for Spain. IT was a very good performance against a strong defensive Portugal team. Xavi controlled the game, Felt bad Torres nothing went ok for him LOL (playacting), but as soon as Llorente came on, the game changed suddenly for some reason, I think he gave Cavarlho so much problems it helped unsettle Portugal defence. Sergio Ramos was also excellent, except his was easily cought time to time in the back. Iniesta had a great game. Alonso, puyol also had a top game. Both GKs made some top saves.

I doubt it. There is probably many people in the United States that don't even know the World Cup is taking place. Honestly, I just don't see them causing problems in this world cup. It is just my opinion though, and will no doubt be found to be hopelessly wrong.
-
FB: Good luck to their football side, but I can't see them going to much further. Plenty of better sides out there. Slovakia just just scored the second goal. LOL bloody cheating crooks!!

Their success in the tournament will help a tad, but football winning over the hearts of the majority of Americans will continue to be a slow burning process that will take decades. Most Americans, patriotic and ignorant Americans try very hard to keep football out of their culture, but the sane ones over there who like a great sport are happy to enjoy it. Football V Americans is a battle, in a way, but they can't keep fighting it forever. USA won't get past Ghana. It is certainly an easier draw then facing Germany, England, Argentina or Mexico, however, if they do get past Ghana, they won't beat Uruguay on current form. Can't see South Korea getting past Uruguay. But then again, who knows. Both Ghana and US, have been poor this tournament, and would be very lucky semi-finalists. Ghana has been good defensively, and if they can create enough chances, or put away the openings they create, they will be too good for the US. It is amazing to see what a team can do when they have 11 men for the game. England thoroughly deserved the win yesterday, against a very disappointing Serbia. They also deserved more against Ghana, and probably should have been in the knock out stages. How good was Tim Cahill????? Ghana have been pathetic in this world cup in my opinion. They have progressed, not scoring a goal in open play. Truely insipid on the attacking front. Having said this, they will probably advance past the US. Proud for the Aussie lads, they did well.
