Spain edged it and the biggest of congratulations to them, imo the Dutch were lucky to finish with 10 men on the field, really De Jong should have walked for his Karate Kick on Alonso. A lot will criticise Webb but practically all the fouls were yellow cards, Webb is a good referee and the fouls merited yellows. It is justice that Spain won the World Cup, over the 4 year cycle since the last World Cup they have been the best side in World football and it is fitting that they crowned it with the World Cup.

Anyone who think that Spain will win comfortably is plain wrong. Yes, if Netherlands tries to play football, in that case, yes they will be demolished, but i think they will play defensive trying to get a chance in the breaks. I can foresee a match like the semis Germany-Spain, with the difference that Netherlands may be a little bit sharper offensively, but definitely are weaker than Germany in midfield and back. I hope (and think) Spain will win, but Netherlands has a bunch of great players and if they're in the final is because they fully deserved.
