What a difference 2 years makes I wonder what the reason for Rooney wanting to leave is. I can think of quite a few scenarios.. 1. His wife (Colleen) issued an ultimatum to Rooney to move from England or that their marriage is over. 2. Greed and that another club has been tapping him up and offering him a massive contract. 3. Irreconcilable differences with players and/or the management team 4. Lack of ambition at United 5. Does not enjoy his football any more and wants to retire at the end of his contract. So which one do you think it is guys? I'm going with either 2 or 4 as it seems the most plausible out of the 5.

Chelsea and Man U spluttered. Man City seem to be growing in confidence, and Spurs (although extremely lucky) seem to be keeping pace. I think they shouldn't boot the team out of the tournament rather Serbia should be made to play behind closed doors for this qualification campaign and the 2014 World Cup qualification campaign, should they qualify for either then no tickets should be allowed to be distributed to Serbian fans and they should be banned from travelling to either Poland and Ukraine or Brazil, the fine given to the Serbian FA should be in the region of a couple of million pounds and for this qualification campaign i would dock Serbia points for the behaviour of their fans. I dont believe in punishing the team by throwing them out though, i feel sorry for the players in all this, im sure they dont embrace the disgraceful behaviour of their countrymen, all they want to do is play football. PS: if this was England fans they'd be kicked out of the competition.
