The patriots act was introduced to flush out any supporters for Americas enemies. Also here in the UK people have been arrested and charged for what they have said in public under the incitement laws. Democracy does not give you the protection to enocourage and support killers, terrorist, or rebels in public. The people who support the killings of our citizens will be arrested and charged just like any other country. It would be foolish and counter productive for the state to be aware that this artist will use the funds generated from his shows to buy weapons for the rebel group he supports, who will then kill these same citizens in the future. This is not about freedom of speech but a clear cut criminal case. Those who think otherwise are not sincere, as they never worry about these same ethics when it comes to those they support.

If you support or make songs for a rebel group intent on killing or harming innocent men woman and children, then it's only fair to expect the law to come knocking at your door. Imagine a person in America singing and claiming to support alqaida. He would be arrested and charged. No sympathy for this fella at all, let's hope others learn from his mistake..

The problem with some people is they are unable to differentiate between a tribal figure and a national figure. For example Silanyo is not a national figure even though he has over the years invested time and effort in building bridges between the northern people, but I'm honest enough to accept, not EVERY Somali will agree with my views of him. How a singer that fuels division and anarchy with her lyrics is a national figure is beyond logic. Nationalism is wrong when used as a carriage to further clan interest.

Every innocent civillian killed is labelled a terrorist. A few years back killing a human without trial was out-right wrong, but they have conditioned people to accept that those who carry a label are outside human laws. Beneath the fake lies of being civilised, the west is as barbaric if not more barbaric than those it claims are barbaric and backward..

I was more dissapointed with his policy towards the SSC. I for one was hoping for a more forceful aggressive approach to send out a clear message. But it was to be expected as Ina Kahin was not leading the show. Without him Kulmiye is lightweight and the SSC know this..

To be honest we will have to sit down with these actors who claim to represent the south sooner or later inorder to officially dissolve the union. We changed Admin and without change in policy, this is one of those changes. It's necessary because we have tried isolationism and that has worked but has not found that illusive recognition. A more direct approach to Somalia is an alternative that should be considered. Over all I support this new policy of seating down with southerners and seating down helping them gain peace in return for recognition..
