Jacpher you are playing the same tired old tune, it will fall on death ears. The whiteman is not my master has never been, contrary to your imagination. The man came to Somalia be it British or Italian with the aim of imposing themselves on the indeginose people. Some worked with them others died fighting them but your memory of history is selective. For one the British did not colonise the north compared to the Italians in the south who even had some of you working on their plantations as modern day slaves. Let's be honest about history the whiteman had no better friend in Sonalia as a whole then those who scream loudest today that there ancestors died fighting the whiteman. The hypocrisy has no shame you have the modern day pirates of today who's ancestors were the most obedient Somalis to the Italians and british in the horn calling there footsoldiers, the Darwish brigade..WTF.

The mentality of some people is such that they think they were the only people who died fighting the whiteman. This mental state is an illness especially as it's not true and incorrect. Sonalilands independence was gained through the hard work of all clans in the north, they used different means to achieve this goal but to try and monopolise by erasing the effort of the other tribes involved in this struggle is dishonest and incorrect. You can repeat the nonsense above to those naive enough to believe it but don't expect anyone else to believe it as it will say more about you then the people you are trying to downgrade.

Dervish my friend your people could not demand anything of the British government for the simple fact you demand something from a position of strength, but since your making the request from a position of weakness it's closer to begging. Now that we have that out the way, do you think the British will be to concerned about the wishes of the people who were against 100 years ago begging them today for help. You either hate the whiteman in both, when in need and when not. Makes no sense to create some phantom history of hating the whiteman if today your standing outside their government offices, crying.

It's only different makes your mind won't allow you absorb the truth or comprehend your contradictions. Why can't you understand we feel the same about Somalia that you do Ethiopia. We don't want to share anything with them or unite with them. It's basic logic. If on the other hand you sollow your pride and unite with Ethiopia, your rhetoric might have an ounce of substance. Till then sxb, carry on with your jihad and we wish you the best even though the feelings not mutual.

He waves the French flag that was used by those who colonised his region, to assume his ancestors waved that same flag and helped the colonials would not be a wrong conclusion. Btw, a Somaliland unionist is an oxymoron. It does not exist and if it does it's an error and correcting it would be advisable.

The irony is you who is part of multi ethnical Ethiopia but wishes to separate from it, preaching unity to us. Rather than practicing hypocrisy go and learn the Ethiopian national anthem, then we might take you serious. Till then do as I say not as I do will fall on deaf ears..

Total garbage with little substance put encouraging tribal hatred and animosity wrapped around nationalism. These people live in their own little head were tribalism equals nationalism. On the other hand she was a has been who's career was going nowhere, until she realised tribalism could give her career a new lease of life. Granted it will be a niche market and she will alienate alot of people but their will be some who will buy her music not for it's artistic contents but for its inflammatory warmongering lyrics. I guess she was right as the above poster shows..

Dervish you are talking hot air. Were your people not parading outside the UK government with home made cardboard pieces if paper, begging the UK government not to support Somaliland for no reason other than pure tribal hatred. As for your ancestors let them rest in peace, we put them their. As for the haters it's clear that your reward is that your country is on life support. Whilst Somaliland is forcing people to take note that we and these barbaric people we formed a union with in the 60,s are not the same.

Rome was not built in a day. What you are witnessing today forward as the train for recognition going from strength. The case for recognition will only get stronger and their is nothing you can do but be a hateful spectator from the side line. Wallahi I'm proud of my people and those back hone will see that the ones in the west have not forgotten them, but that we will forever be connected ..

The Zack;721160 wrote: ^He is right, the Harari is available in Somaliland. It comes from Jigjiga. 14 trucks of Qaad goes to Hargeisa everyday and 14 trucks of cash come back LOL. You should spend more time on saving your people from extinction at the hands of the Ethiopians and your own people not worry about what people from Sonaliland do with their hard earned money or their past time. That's called missed placed prioraties..

The only thing you guys have accomplished is have Bantu from poor Africa sh!t on your capital and kill your people indiscriminately. You have shamed the Somali name by being unable to form anything resembling a government, or bringing back piracy from the history books. You might assume competing with Sonaliland is an achievement but when a single region of the former Somalia is able maintain a level of governance alien to the test of Somalia, then surelly you don't deserve neither respect or a country... The biggest difference and the most glaring is that you have a president guarded by Bantu mercenaries, we have a democratically elected statesman as our president. As for the pirates they are chameleons ask them who their president is? See if you both have the same answer.

To wrap things up in a referendum if held only in the former British or today Somaliland, the reply would be a clear yes to independence, because the majority of that region will vote that way. The I clan with it's large majority will vote yes, with some from the other minority tribes also voting with them. I would be surprised if the anti-independence group gets double digit support..

The Demise of Somaliland’s Day Dream and the Nascent of Awdal State -
Abokor Omar replied to A_Khadar's topic in Politics
Khadar when recognition comes(inshallah) and the gloves are of, I will personally burn down your village. That's a promise.. -
The problem is Duke your so focused on Somaliland that you have forgotten your house is on fire and it's about to reach your room. If you compare our two situation I would rather have SL and so would anybody with an ounce of common sense. We have a goal; recognition. You have no goal. That's sad. Your pirate, one clan enclave has turned into no mans land with killings of officials, home grown terrorist hiding in it's mountains.don't forget your president has a ship and moonlights as it's pirate captain. You have deep problems. Plus you have been dismissed from the Bantu government in mogdisho unless you heal infront of the fool with his Bantu mercenaries.. Somalina why do you have this slave master relationship with Duke and his lot. Times have changed you don't need to think this way. Everytime he hears Somaliland his heart skips a beat, you just need to sit back and enjoy the show. Or if that's to much wait for some to use the word Bantu and then it's personal for you...

You people must live in a parallel universe, cause what you guys are saying will get you sectioned in this world as even a mental patient will point out that it's beyond crazy. Your hate for Somaliland is driven by jealousy, tribalism and envy. The likes of Duke or his kind will never set foot in SL under any circumstance. We are not the same, don't want to share a country or have anything to do with you. Why waste your time and effort crying about SL day and night, who is your targeted audience? Or is there no method to your madness? The likes of Khadar makes sense his hate stems from generations of being humiliated, his ancestors losing battle after battle and land. It one point in history when all Somalis came together and tried to work towards building a proud nation, one that could sit amongst the temple of nation as equal. They used this opportunity and with the help of others even less dimmer but who through luck found themselves holding the Reigns of the nation, and hijacked it to settle old scores. It's no surprise they failed as they always do against the Nobel Duriyad. So since they played a key role in helping to create the atmosphere which turned brothers who shared religion and race against eachother and eventually the implosion of the Somali state. The traits of the jackal is visible. They today cry Somalia and we are defending Borders when it's them who destroyed it. Khadar abti your nationalism is tribalism Afweynes days are gone move on. Work on building your home, getting leaders who represent you and who work your interest. Silanyo was put into office by the wishes of the majority of Sonalilanders. No other Somali leader in office today has had even a fraction of Silanyos support. Adeer if you guys are telling me the only democraticly elected leader in all of Somalia is wrong. Your hopeless.

Lets deal with facts. -Somaliland has been separate from Somalia for 20 years. Anybody under the age of thirty will have no connection with Somalia. To assume as is your agenda that the Somaliland ship will do a uturn and head back to Somalia is beyond crazy. Somaliland will sooner or later go it's separate way and this is applying common sense. The window of opportunity for those northerners still dreaming about the dead dream of the five points on the flag uniting is closing fast. In the next couple years there will be no internal wish to unite and the west or international community will have no choice but accept the reality.. Khadar you will be dragged kicking and screaming to the world of peace and recognition and if you carry on with your rebellious behaviour, you will be setting yourself as the untouchables in the new country. In short you will be be my personal butler in the future if you don't snap out of this hopeless dream..

Borama citizens wave Awdal state and Somalia Flag during 18 May *VIDEO*
Abokor Omar replied to Xeefow's topic in Politics
Wallah these people are nasty creature from the their mind works it's clear to say why all those people from Somalia who wave the same blue flag have been killing eachother for so long. How one can balance the goal of unity all somali groups and at the same time celebrate everything negative that happens in Somaliland. Why would we want to share a country if we can see your hate towards us. Furthermore, people from Awdal are not ****** and can see the ulterior motive and hidden agenda behind your new found love for anything Awadal. You southerners aim in life is destruction and now you want to bring to our peaceful region by dividing us and hoping we turn against eachother. What sad creatures. -
The Darwish were a bunch of renegade criminals using the Diin as cover to justify these actions. Its leader was a camel thief at heart and his mission was to grab land as well as camels. In his time as liberate of Somalia as some refer to him he killed more Somalis than whitemen and when he was defeated it was clear his mission of fighting the whiteman was a lie. The British left Somalia as they had found not as an anglican put post in the horn. What amazes me is whilst this so called freedom was fighting the British his people were being occupied by the Ethiopians, why was he wasting time and energy on British Somaliland, a group of people who did not need saving. Till today 100's later his people are occupied by brute force and Somalilanders are free. The moral of the story is charity starts at home; if you to be a freedom fight, free your people first not a group that's not interested in being free..
