A man donated his wife some blood a while back. After some domestic disputes he demanded that his wife returns the blood he donated her. She threw a bloody pad at him and said, " I will pay you in monthly installments"

A man asked a hooker, " How much?" She said, " $50 on the bed, $20 on the sofa and $10 on the grass" The man handed her $50. She smiled and said, " Man you got class!" He replied, " Class my a$$, 5 on the grass."

FirstLAdy: If there are minority students who felt that in his class, he was singling them out, then I say take the matter to the Multicultural Affairs office. Or the Black Students Association, hopping that you got one in your school. Sister it is war. Never let a professor treat you like dat. You cheated yes, you were wrong yes, but to an extend you get F for the class now that is exxagerattion. So head for those of your color. And surely there is soemthing they can do... Good luck!

I can't believe we got all of this going. Damn girls you needed help so much huh anyways it is gr8 to have girls swapping remedies, therapies and methods to eliviate one's problems... Great tips by the way.. pearl: well, a Muslim girl really dress in a range of styles... from Burgah ( veil from your head to your toes)- Pants with scarf. So tell me your style, and I shall help you with tips. EYE Makeup: Girls you gotta wear this believe me, it is the complete make over one could use. So the questions how can u have a well done eye make up.. Always mix two shades light and dark.. After putting on your compressed podwer( I am not much of foundation user.. the powder seems to do.. but you might be different. If you have pimples or dark spots then surely foundation is for you) Preparations: Clean you face either with warm water and facial wash or you can use the wash wipes. After powdering your face: 1. Indho kuul (or kajol): Never use it on the outside of your eye. Always make sure to darken the inner of your eye. 2. Dark color(depending of your complexion choose a color that suits you. I am dark skinned so I mostly use shades such as Orange, Purple, Brown etc, I don't like shouting colors.. choose wisely) 3. Light color: This is a must, You eye make up is incomplete without this. So use a color that is lighter than your base. ( for me when I wear the orange as my dark color I use gold as my light one) Method: First Indhokuul. Then spread the darker eye shade on the bottom of your eye lid. Make sure it is well spread. Now beneath your eye brow smitter your lighter shade.( Works gr8 when your eye brow has been shaped). If you think you look nice with an eye liner than certainly apply it. If not don't bother. I for one don't like it. PS: Always use make ups made by known producers. Mac is a gr8 choice for folks of our color. Idil: If you can't sleep.. sister just fill your bath tub with warm water and some salt. Sit in it for 30-1hr. That should make you tired and relaxed. Natural ways to revive your skin: If you feel like your skin is dull and boring then this remedy is for you. Mix turmeric(make sure u buy the one for the body, incase u didn't know there is one for food) and almond and sandwood powder. Just use them as mask for twice or thrice a week. You should see a difference within one to two weeks. Have fun sisters. King-450 & Gedid EXIT... this is Girls lounge... unless u r girls

Whatever a mother does is special in its own way. Having said that, it won't be fair to any mom to pick one single thing out of all the beautiful things they do. But one thing certainly makes my heart weep with joy is when I see my mother by my bedside every Fajr prayer reading Quran on me. That just gets me. And I am always Grateful to Allah in the many ways that He has blessed me..

How far would you go to convice someone your love ....
lol replied to finestsista2005's topic in General
I don't know about you, but I have been in this situation trust me... I saw the actualy movie stalkers in real flesh...even restraining orders didn;t frighten this brotha... but finally I had to head for his qabiila... u know we r somalis... our solutions are odeyaasha... believe me ladies it works... the brotha left me alone...and I never felt more happier.... as for Mangoola sista..... not all women reciprocate to the brotha when he stalks... I like brothas that are hard to handle... so if I say once NO.. it means NO...the more u push... the more i hate ya.... As far as I am concerned.... I won't waste one single breathe on any one... I would definitely tell him how I felt.... and if he says no.. move on with my life... no embarrassment for me hon -
sophist: no qarxis dee Kaafi : Shaheed is someone who struggles and strives to make it through. Qac Qac: U r right bro... it is your luck of strong imam that let us down.. ( yours = men)

MR-Ceel buur: So what u r trying to tell us (women).. that we r suffering from dual personalities??? Hmm... interesting analysis, but i gotta admit, there is that special places that makes a woman blossom, but like u said, rarely does anyone get to touch it....So keep up bro... educate the brothers... we might FINALLY find brothers who might be sensitive towards us.... What Do You Think Sisters???

Mujahida From the day Khadija asked him To marry her, To the night she convinced her husband that the revelation was more than mere hallucination, till the second she became the first believer, I have been more than you imagined. From the time A’isha stood firm against slander, to the moment she held her dying husband, till the time when she was sought after for her knowledge, I have been more than you imagined. From the flight to Medinah, And the triumph at Makkah to the triumph of more than a billion, in fourteen hundred and twenty years, I have never been so easy for you to figure out. I am the Bosnian woman, raped by Serb soldiers as my husband is forced to look on, and the world turns away. The blood that runs from the bodies of Algerian women runs from me, and stains the ground for all humanity to see. I am the woman on a Baghdad street corner, begging journalists for a can of milk so that I can feed my starving child. I am the mother in Palestine, mourning her eight year old son, shot in the head by a soldier’s rubber bullet. I am the Egyptian daughter struggling to survive in a Cairo slum, fighting the desert dust that rises to choke the young. I am the Indonesian woman Sewing sneakers for the NBA for the princely sum of $2 a day, while restlessness burns the country around me. I am the Iranian student, sporting jeans and Mickey Mouse tee shirts under my black chador, laughing and loving, still recovering from an eight year war that cost the lives of many men. I am the sister, wife, daughter, and mother to 700 million men. I am all of my 700 million sisters, and they are me. I have always been more than a terrorist’s helpmate. I have always been more than a veil or a scarf. I have always been more than one wife of many. I have always been more than a green card special. In all of these myths, I have always been voiceless, when the truth is so much louder. I have never been that easy for you to pin down, yet I have never been the mystery that you have created for me. I am the warrior daughter of Khadija, A’isha, Maryam, and Nusaybah. I am the mother of prophets, the wife of khulafa, the sister of shaheed. I am the woman who wakes at dawn to face Mecca in prayer, bowing in submission only to The All Knowing. I am fi jihad, struggling daily to maintain iman and identity, to open the shut eyes of the world. I am the woman who raises her voice among men to shout: Takbeer! Allahu Akbar!

Let me add this... Arabic dish " Warqah Canab =Grape/Vine leaves" ingredients: 1 bottle of Grape leaves ( they r in the pickle section) 1 cup of rice 2 onions 1 large tomato 2 chicken stocking few leaves of cilantro 1 crushed garlic a pinch of black peppers 1 liter water, salt to taste and some tomatoes... boil them together.. preparation: Chop the onions and tomatoes into tiny cubes. crush the garlic and cilantro and stockings. Add everything together except the leaves in a bowl..Let it sit for a 10 mins... Now open the leaves and place small tea spon of rice on the the leaves... now fold it like u fold the spring roll.. if u don't know how to fold the spring roll then...following is the instructions.. after making all of them..make sure that they r tightly sealed.. now stock them on top of the each other with no open space... add pre-boiled water with salt and some tomato pieces.. to the leaves.. now cook slowly till the rice has been cooked... Make sure it is on very low heat... and don't let it dry... After it has been cooked for like 45 mins... place the ingredients in the fridge... it tastes best when cold... bon appetite`.... Now for the wrapping: Place the rice in the center of the leave. Now fold the right and the left... then roll it....till it is tightly sealed!

Lucky: It is human to assume unusual behaviors as alien by most. Somalis tend to label such changes as untraditional or western. I don't think we ( the product of the western influence) have done anything wrong to be called as Untraditional. When kids are brought to a place, it is only natural for them to adapt some of the ideological thinking of that place. It is not wrong to adapt western thinking as long as it is within the borders of Islam. Many habits of the west tend to be part of our Islamic teachings only Somalis missed out on it.. This proposterious allegations that seem to flood our elders' minds have become a prominent barriers in the efforts to perfection. Take the good stuff from Somali culture and leave the rest... and do the same to the gaal culture... That is my take on the situation..
